One of the best piano piece ever written!
sir I really wonder what your job is. Ok, of course you are an excellent artist and virtuoso. But, since I saw your profession, you don't seem to be doing all of this art as a job. That seems as if you do these as hobby and passion. And this causes me envy you, not evil intended of course, admiration is better to say.
Many years ago, I had a good friend Jimmy McKissic. Jimmy was a black Concert pianist...who played around the World. Jimmy was truly a wonderful pianist...google him. I met him when he was the pianist at the Bar Admiral in the Hotel Martinez. I used to fly over to New York when he played at Carnegie Hall. Jimmy used to welcome every guest into the bar with their individual piece...he played the Chopin Aeolian Harp etude when I went in. God bless, Jimmy!
I really like the chosen camera angle! Good work.
I like how clearly you play this, Paul
Masterful !
Wonderful 💕💕💕
Absolute Beauty
Very Beautiful
how much is this etude difficult ?
This is the second best recording of this I've heard so far after Rubinstein, and consider it a great compliment!
Paul, you are simply incredible. Your mastery is breathtaking to watch and it all is done with seemingly great ease. I am also impressed how you memorize so many pieces! BRAVO! ~Jackie
Your playing style is very beautiful, specially that you really know how to play the keys with heavy or light weight.
I have heard so many famous and accomplished pianists play Chopin's Aeolian Harp, but you, Mr. Barton through your creative soul, bring so much beauty and mastery to this piece I cannot say enough words to praise your rendition. Your mastery of the una corda, sostenuto and damper pedals are so skillfully applied I can honestly say that I have never heard them used so effectively and creatively by another pianist. Growing up my Mother played a Steinway baby grand piano and I was raised with all this beautiful classical music playing through our Bronx apartment, and I loved it, especially the Chopin pieces, so this particular piece is near and dear to my heart. Thank you so much for posting this video, it is a true Chopin treasure beautifully performed and to be cherished by many viewers for years to come.
I am currently learning this piece, extremely challenging but the first results are just breathtaking when you start making it at speed. Start slowly and get inspired by this video, in my opinion the best one for this piece, especially for the fingerings and the interpretation quality. Thank you so much Paul !
Astounding technique of course, but what strikes me is that your voicing is just lovely, so much feeling and depth in your playing, thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Kind, humble, incredibly talented, and a blessing for ...ahem, slightly more challenged learners such as yours truly. Once again thank you Mr Barton.
I think that your performance of this Chopin's masterpiece is one of the best I've ever heard in my life. Bravo!
Paul, wow! Your talent is truly breathtaking. I've never seen any thing like this before, only from the composers themselves! I love it, keep being amazing Paul.
Oh my god, this interpretation is soooo amazing! I love it! ❤
