The LC 500 Inspiration Series makes a roaring return, bringing back its iconic and elegant styling for the new model year. Building on the flagship coupe and convertible, the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series showcases a unique aesthetic that thoughtfully blends design with performance, including front bumper canards and a coupe-exclusive carbon fiber fixed rear wing spoiler.
The 2024 LC 500 Inspiration Series is expected to arrive in dealerships in early fall 2023 with 125 units available in North America.
The Inspiration Series Difference
The special-edition 2024 LC 500 Inspiration Series debuts a LC-first color combination of Polar Surge Satin (exterior) and Deep Blue (interior) on coupe models. The convertible mirrors these colors and adds a Blue fabric top. On both models, the white matte exterior finish - sealed in by a satin lacquer topcoat - contrasts elegantly with bold black finishes on the front grille surround, headlamps, taillamp, rocker garnish and outer mirrors. Standard 21-inch forged wheels with matte black paint complete the exterior look.
The LC 500 Inspiration Series draws from Lexus’ racing heritage with aerodynamic enhancements including front bumper canards to balance lift, and a coupe-exclusive carbon-fiber fixed rear wing spoiler to assist with handling stability. Building on the Lexus Driving Signature, additional performance highlights include a standard Torsen® limited slip differential and rear performance dampers that contribute to increased vehicle response and a more refined driving feel. The coupe adopts the convertible’s front and rear underfloor braces, and a standard carbon fiber roof.
Moving inside, the calming Deep Blue monotone interior with contrasting grey stitching contributes to a meditative in-cabin experience featuring Alcantara®-trimmed sport seats and headliner (coupe) or semi-aniline trimmed seats and Lexus Climate Concierge with upper body heating (convertible). This model year, the Inspiration Series scuff plate door accents are in carbon fiber with a serialized badge returning on the center console to recognize the limited 125 units produced.
The LC 500 Inspiration Series comes standard with a Mark Levinson® 13-speaker 915-watt Reference Surround Sound Audio system, SmartAccess Key Card, and a Head-Up Display. Lexus Interface with a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen and the connected services featured in the 2024 LC 500 and LC 500h are also standard on the Inspiration Series.

This car is definitely underrated, you just need to compare it to the German equivalents. If you can afford to keep German cars after warranty runs out good luck!!!
@@daviddarmanin2188 Right. My 2013 C63 AMG is now 10 yrs old and hasn't cost me any more to maintain versus any previous cars I've owned from Ford, Honda, or Toyota.

I'm all about it. Was SO nice inside. But tbh...I'm about that RCF Track Edition next to it. So good.
Facts me also that RCF 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 LC is cool to those who dig it but F cars just have that pedigree. @kris showcase that F car man!!
nothing special about an up-badged RCF. Better off buying a regular RCF and adding similar goodies to it and it's pretty much a "Track Edition"

@@enzoTHEferrariI 100% agree.... touchpad under your right hand so much more intuitive. touchscreen impractical in a car, have to lean forward, head closer to steering wheel, dangerous, greasy fingerprints all over screen and in a convertible? d'oh.... they've ruined the beautiful lines and integrity of the dash to satisfy the touchscreen addicts

Also, numerous people have commented on it not being a touch screen who i've driven around. They would go to hit it to change the station and look confused when they found out it wasnt a touch screen.

Still a beauty! Personally I prefer the previous dash with the subdued screen...looks way more elegant. Now it looks like something is missing. Also, I'd hate having a touchscreen covered in fingerprints. The old touchpad is not as bad as folks made it seem.

It's called a Lexus RCF Track Edition. Pretty much an up-badged Lexus RCF that's around the same price as the LC500.
ngl, Lexus interior designers haven't been keeping up with offering the most up to date interior designs as well as better and bigger displays. But it's still a high quality car.

much prefer when the screen was integrated into the dash, all they needed was to add some manual buttons for heated and cooled seats, job done! Touch pad never really bothered me that much, and easier to use on the move than poking at a bloody touchscreen that makes you take your eyes of the road. Consumers don't know what they want until they've lost it!
Is that a hard retractable?
It's a soft top. Considering the weight of the car I think a hard top would be too heavy, even for a luxury GT.

It's a nice car, but for this price it should've had the following.
1. More power, at least 530hps and 450 torque
2. Dual clutch transmission
3. wider tires
4. Power lift trunk
5. Full digital speedometer cluster
6. Better infotainment screen
I still think for the price, it does't offer much, a porshe at this price range will always be the obvious choice.

It’s a gorgeous car but how many options of vehicles out there for the same price tag of 120k ? There’s so many options out there. 120k to me it’s a lot of money. It’s my dream car.
It is expensive. However I've seen it in person and it has such a powerful presence and the engine sound is dreamy.
120k isn’t cheap but go test drive it and you will simply be blown away by the way that engine roars. What’s more is NOTHING in that price point can compete with Lexus’ legendary reliability. The touch screen and 360 surround camera make this car now near perfect. If you have the means and won’t go into debt, go get this classic while you still can. This is perhaps the most underrated GT car of our time. The quality of material rivals Aston Martin and other vehicles costing twice as much.

I will be buying the LC500 coupe. However, I don't care too much for the tablet looking unit on the dash. I also don't care for the black wheels that look permanently dirty.
The tablets are always ugly in cars that are good looking inside... hope that they made a better sound in the new one (thats the only bad things with the car that I have noticed). Black wheels are not nice but some like them... sporty for them and dirty for us

The touch screens are always bad to look at... ok in cars for only transportation but not in cars that try to look good inside. Love to have a CD-player in my car

Nice ish, but the price is ridiculous. They tweak a couple things and sell the same car basically for tons more. It’s silly. It’s fine though, they’ll find the 125 people with more money than brains.
Striking design for sure.. but beautiful... timeless.... no. It's too complicated in the front, too many random angles that don't flow with anything. This is the best iteration of the current Lexus face, but it's still too strange. They should really poach designers of beautiful makes like Genesis did.
