Watching your vid, I saw ice, so I grabbed my steamer and blew it clear. NOW, after 12 hours, my fridge side is cold again. Thx 💯 Adding: I'd even gone to look at NEW refrigerators, just in case.
Great video, ours is frozen solid like that or worse. I managed to get the vent cover off but the ice goes quite far through passage ways. Whats the next best way to melt all the ice? We don't have a steamer... Please and thank you. : )

Where is the evaporator fan located on that model, looks exactly like what I have and ice is in the same locations on bottom and top ?
I have a whirlpool side x side that is doing the exact same thing. Did the new evap fan motor fix the issue on that fridge? No call backs so far?
