I would say cold calling has mixed results I find the best way just to knock on doors and hand out business cards people don’t remember phone calls but they always remember a business card or fridge magnet
Great tips! I'm Looking to start up my own business in January and I was wondering if you could do a video on your book keeping for taxes that's sometbing I'm still trying to learn and get straight before I start
This is question for anyone in appliance repair business. I have no problem repairing the appliances, the problem i have is getting info on newer items. Such as service bulletins test procedures and specs. Where is everyone getting there info? i can't find any web sites like the automotive industry has, TIPS would be Wonderfull.

Why would I hand business cards to real estate agents? They just buy and sell house, so I’m not sure how I could get business through them fixing appliances. Thanks in advance!
Angel Moreno don’t mind you asking but I’m not gonna put exact figures on this forum. Let’s just say I support a family of 5 off my income comfortably.
sirrralex absolutely. One of my favorite things about having my own business is the fact I can and do take lots of time to spend with my family. I agree that is the most important thing.

Hey, starting a repair business myself. My website is good and simplistic. Not as good as the high end one. Did you initially spend money on a site?

When working for warranty companies do they send calls pre scheduled or do you contact the customer to schedule with them?
The warranty companies send you the info and then you have to schedule it.

Hi are you still doing the business???
What kind of marketing do you do? Online wise?
Ron Carpenter I don’t do any marketing I am word of mouth only.
Why would I hand business cards to real estate agents? They just buy and sell house, so I’m not sure how I could get business through them fixing appliances. Thanks in advance!
They will pass the info to customers and a lot of them are property managers
They also know what warranty companies are popular in the area
Anyway I could contact you? I’ve watched all your videos but have more personal questions and advice I’d like to ask.. thank you.
