Back in the 80's a pickpocket once tried to get my Grandpa while he was waiting for a train. He realised pretty quick and grabbed his hand held it up as high as he could and shouted loud enough for the whole platform to here " HAS ANYONE LOST A HAND I FOUND THIS ONE IN MY POCKET?" The chap fled pretty quick.

I had a couple on their wedding getting pictures taken in front of my Phantom. I wasn’t upset and waited a couple minutes for them to get pictures before trying to leave. They then started yelling at me and calling me rude for interrupting their photo session. It was my car. I had somewhere to be. It was so bizarre.

I had to rehome her because she got jealous and killed my dads dog (she was extremely sick and we'd have had to put her down so we thought it was a mercy killing) when she killed my pregnant yorkie, I couldn't put my others at risk... the people I homed her to lived in the middle of nowhere where she could roam, someone picked her up and my brother met who did it at a baseball game, they brought her and they exchanged info but my brother was my molester and basically hates me because I told people and refuses to tell me where she is no matter how much I threaten and my dad won't do Jack to help, knowing that I constantly dream about her. She saved my life after an abusive relationship that almost killed me, she was starved and abused badly and so scared and timid and I made her so confident... On a small aircraft like a Cessna sure, but there's no way you're going to tell me a difference of ~50< pounds is going to make a difference to a 400000 pound aircraft. If it was that critical you would literally have to be seated according to your weight and that doesn't happen. Sure if half the flight was little kids you might not want then all on one end but lateral balance isn't going to be that critical on a commercial flight.

My son was clinging to me like a baby spider monkey and was not going to sit in the seat we paid for him to sit in, right between my father and me, and was screaming at the top of his lungs every time we tried putting him in that seat. I told the flight attendant she could try buckling him in, but I give up because he's like a wild animal and he isn't going to comply.
Of course I got lots of attitude from the attendants and people sitting near us. "What kind of crap mother are you that you allow your toddler to act like a wild animal?".
I didn't have the energy to explain, so I brought out my printed materials; some newspaper articles about his abduction a year ago, and various flyers printed by the Nat. Center For Missing and Exploited Children. My baby was barely one when he was abducted by his deranged father a year ago. This is the first day I'd seen my son in a year and he didn't even recognize me when he first saw me at the airport, less than two hours ago, when a lady from CPS put him in my arms. Once I stopped sobbing, he remembered me, but he knew his grandfather immediately and was elated to see him. After that, he had to be sitting in one of our laps because he hung on to us with all his might.
My dad and I had to get on a plane at 6:00 AM to fly across country to meet with CPS, and it was only the day before that my son had been found. Needless to say, we were exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed. My dad was still recovering from open heart surgery.
The flight attendant had to give up trying to force him into the seat, but he quietly stayed in our laps for the long flight home, mostly slept. He had been through an exhausting ordeal, too.
Most of the passengers sitting near us were understanding, but that flight attendant was hateful towards us the whole flight. I know rules are important, but so is understanding when making an exception is the right thing to do.
I found an excellent child psychologist for my son, and after several weeks of working with him, the psychologist was able to get information about some of the horrific abuse he suffered. His father would tie him to a chair and put him in a dark closet when he needed to go out. That wasn't the worst of it.
My son is 31 now and still has anxiety walking into an elevator or other cramped space. He can't sleep in a room with the door closed, and as a teen, he used to sleep outside when the weather was nice. When I first got him home, he took every belt and rope he found in our apartment and threw them out our 2nd story window.

I can't imagine spending a lot of money on a car. I drive cheap pieces of shit so I can have a great home. All I need is radio, AC, and a reliable engine. I literally don't care how fast my car is, speed limits aren't high enough to matter. My Hyundai can do 80 fine. 😂 😂 😂

@@goodbher9244 I love my 20 year old $800 Hyundai Santa Fe! The fuel economy is great, and since it's front wheel drive and has decent clearance for driving on the rough, 3 mile dirt road to my off-grid rural home, it's all I really need.
I used to drive pickups because I have animals who need 50 lb. sacks of feed, but found I can carry all I need in the hatchback and fold-down rear seat. I've even carried a few goats in it!
I've always had cheap POS cars, since I first started driving. I've never had a car payment, ever.
In the late 1980s, I paid $200 for a 1965 Plymouth Fury that was a previous police cruiser. The speedometer went to 140, but I never pegged it. It cruised smoothly at 100 mph, but I was too scared to maintain that speed for long or go any faster.
Cute car, lots of chrome and it was painted baby blue. It got a lot of attention, which angered my first husband so he made me sell it. I loved that car, should have just gotten rid of him instead (I did, soon after).
The guy who bought my car found me on Facebook about 6 years ago (more than 20 years after I sold it for $300). My old car was totaled on a race track, but he put her engine (383) in a different car, so her heart still "beats" and he's still winning races with it on dirt race tracks in Texas!

When the Swedish champagne boom was really bad about 20 years ago I read about some rich kids (is was always the young ones) who called a restaurant in central Stockholm and asked for a table in the middle of the restaurant and that a certain champagne should be flown in from France that day. When they got to the restaurant and were served the champagne, the music was stopped and all lights were focoused on these guys when they made their toast. Unless the route is highly unpopular, involuntary upgrades due to your being pretty, polity, attractive, etc. etc. are highly unlikely these days on US airlines.

I bet people buy expensive champagne for entire parties, and the food staff is commenting on what a flex it is that they can upsell champagne that is wildly expensive and the clientele don’t even finish it. That being said, they have to dump it out. I know when I’ve worked in food service places prior to my career, we weren’t allowed to keep bottles from parties because it deterred people from opening bottles just to say they were left by a party. It makes it easier for the staff to steal bottles of alcohol and call them “abandoned.” So they are showing themselves luxuriously wash their hands since they have to dump it anyway. The washing the hands with champagne thing - a while back we had a similar trend in South Africa but it was with other really expensive liquor like whiskey etc, it was supposed to be a flex. Like "I'm so rich I don't even use water to wash my hand." it was usually kids with rich parents just lazing about wanting their parents money. They were call skotana. Ironically now it's turned into an insult for someone who's super wasteful and really just a wast of space. 😂

The weight thing definitely makes a difference in a plane... that's why every plane has to weigh every bag and place it in the cargo to make sure of an even distribution. It's the same for passengers. Lol. I know this and I don't even work in the airline industry. It's basic physics. 😂

  • @ResidentMilf
    @ResidentMilf 11 месяцев назад +2

Airlines break even on coach tickets. The only tickets they make money on are business or first class. So yeah, if you pay for a coach ticket and then move to first class without being invited, they're going to say something because you're *stealing.*

      Good point!
I met my soulmate, Rosie, when I was 14. It was like finding a long lost sister, but better.
After high school, I worked with her and her husband and we spent so much time together you'd think we'd get sick of each other. Never did, never even had an argument. She honored me by asking me to be her daughter's godmother.
We were best friends until she died in 2008 and I've never loved anyone more except maybe my parents.
Sometimes some idiot would ask if we were gay, as if two women couldn't love each other without it being sexual. I'm actually asexual, so I'm not attracted to men or women. I describe it more as "soul recognition". Sometimes you meet a person and just know they belong in your life. There's such a hole left in one's heart when that person is no longer with us.
