Hey there, it's Charlotte Dobre, and in today's video, I'll be talking about entitled passengers. You know the ones I'm talking about - the people who think the world revolves around them and their needs, and who are more than happy to make life difficult for everyone else.
We've all encountered entitled passengers at one time or another, whether it's the person who insists on reclining their seat all the way back, the one who takes up more than their fair share of space, or the one who demands special treatment from the flight attendants.
In this video, we'll be exploring some of the most common types of entitled passengers, as well as some tips for dealing with them. From the passive-aggressive seat kicker to the obnoxiously loud talker, we'll cover all the bases.
We'll also talk about the importance of being considerate to others when travelling, and how a little bit of empathy and understanding can go a long way towards making the journey more pleasant for everyone.
So if you're tired of dealing with entitled passengers and want some tips for how to handle them, this video is for you. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button for more travel tips and tricks, and let's get started!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

Pretty sure that was a bit more than „just“ alcohol tho. I mean I haven‘t got that much experience with drugs (pretty much none tbf) but she seemed almost clinically unstable, like you‘d only see on documentaries about drug addicts. Drunk people generally stick to one or two emotions and are more slow and slurred than hectic in my experience

My first flight was by myself. I got on the plain and stayed silent. There wasn't anyone in the set beside me, so when we started going through a storm, I was gripping the seat and trying to breathe. This man walks up and sits beside me. He sat down and told me everything was okay and we would be through the storm soon. He was air marshal, and he has flown through plenty of storms . ( i didn't even know they had air marshals and why he was in regular clothes. Duh, i figured it out later. Lol) He knows the pilot personally, and he is an excellent pilot. He just sat with me and kept me in a conversation, and before I knew it, we were landing. I was 19, and I looked young for my age, and I'm only 4'9. Lol. He made sure I knew where to go and congratulated me on becoming an aunt. I love flying now.

I don't understand why they still serve alcohol at airports or on planes anymore... years ago, people were quiet drunk. they could be there drunk and be quiet and keep to themselves.. now a days, people are crazy drunk.. they get loud and obnoxious and make scenes... I'm guessing it has to do with how society has changed from how people would keep to themselves and just live their lives to now it's all ME! ME! ME!...

As a mother of a child with SPD and ADD, it is very hard to emotionally regulate, let alone reason with toddlers who aren't old enough to comprehend how to 'behave'. The society is less forgiving which results in PPD and other mental illnesses commonly in mothers. You can not expect perfection. As a mother, I beg you, please consider our child as your own and show a bit of kindness. You helping that mom out was very sweet and exactly the help she required.

And I immediately apologized and turned it down. I didn't even know they were leaking the music so badly but when I realized I bought a new pair of headphones 😂😂

After waiting more than an hour I went in to look for her. She was sat at the employee rest tables drinking a coffee chit chatting with some women. I told her I am done waiting and if she wants a ride she had better come out to the car immediately. She came right out but had a very sour mood going on. I took her to the pharmacy and she said she will be about 5 minutes because she was just picking up her prescription. Where I parked I could see the pharmacy counter. She walked up and got her meds then started talking to a woman beside her. After 10 minutes I texted her telling her I am leaving in 2 minutes with or without her. I waited for the 2 minutes and then took all her things out of my car and put them in a shopping cart and wheeled it to the door. I walked back to my car and texted her where her cart is and said I was leaving. I was 15 minutes down the road when she texted me back asking where I was. I waited until I got home to text back telling her I was at home because she wouldn't do things on my time which she was using up. She had to call another friend to come get her and the friend that asked me to take her said sorry and even paid the gas money. You are a guest in that driver's car. Behave accordingly. Also, I am not from the city in which my daughter and I were getting these rides - the drivers are! We were able to see some really cool things and eat at some really awesome, not known by all restaurants. The drivers we had seemed super excited to share their city with us! I was grateful, and we were fortunate to have experiences that not everyone gets to have.
    Kindness costs nothing. ❤

Anytime I catch a lyft to get to or from work, I try to let the drivers know if there’s potholes, or construction or a better route. With one, his GPS was telling him, “Turn west on Warren.” I piped up, “Actually, you should take Harvard. Warren’s all ripped up at Wolff. Harvard is clear all the way to Zenobia.” He listened to the GPS. Seeing the road quite literally torn open to replace a water line, the driver sighs, “I really should listen to the people who live in these neighborhoods. How do I get to Harvard from here?”
Or, “Sixth is backed up with a ton of traffic.” “If you turn south on McIntyre or Moss, that’ll put you on the County Road. It’s clear and a lot faster.” “…woah. There’s no one on this road. I’ll use it more often, thanks!”

My very first time taking a train, it was a 28 hour drive. First ride was 6 hours, then we got onto another train. On THIS particular train, I went to my seat, it was 2 seats facing 2 seats with a table in the middle. A lady left her stuff on her seat so I sat in mine, across from her. She started RAGING at me, saying she was sitting there first and that I had to leave and was making such a huge scene. The train security had to come over and asked about the issue, saw my ticket that showed I was supposed to be next to her, and then just rolled their eyes and moved me to the next seat. The lady got up five minutes later and BITCHED at me AGAIN for sitting in 'her' seat and that I was being rude to her. I was only 18. Hilarious. Entitled people are so sad.

I take the train in Canada and sometimes it’s like a 20$ difference between economy and first class, and honestly for long rides with transfers it’s worth it. You get food and drinks and access to the business lounge at stations that have free snacks and drinks and bathrooms. So sometimes it worth but I’ve only ever lost my cool once in a business lounge and it was cause I dude was talking extremely loud on his phone pretending to drink a tiny can of coke for 45 min just so he could tell the workers he didn’t have to wear a mask. I told him he wasn’t some magical dude who didn’t have to wear his mask. It was when mask restrictions in Canada were hella strict and he was being rude to the via rail workers saying he was drinking so he didn’t have to wear a mask. It was also like midnight. So I felt like a dick that time but also I was kinda annoyed.

Oh my brother lived with him still and was in his 40’s) got rude with me that I wouldn’t take him more places. I told him no and he then refused to get into the car. I was not so subtly annoyed standing in the queue (for over two hours) but not making any noise or doing anything obnoxious. When it was my turn, they questioned me heavily and took me to some basement room where I was interrogated multiple times and had to wait for two more hours for them to retrieve the luggage off my connecting plane to search it for drugs or whatever in front of me. But by the time they got it I had made friends with the bag searchers and they apologized😂 Anyways, long story short, behave in the airport like it’s fucking court

For me, flying is the modern equivalent of Medieval torture. Buying a flight ticket is paying for being : held in contention in a space that won’t allow you to ever feel relaxed, nor comfy - no! - you’ll have to feel each and every second your crappy knees, your bloated inners, and the thousands disgusting smells passing by; served prison’s food; be deprived, from the moment you step in the Security’s line, untill you have crossed the customs in the next country, you’ll be deprived, have I said, of all your basics rights regarding anonymity - and! - almost all of your common sense of civility.
You’ll be watching one or two movies... that you won’t remember at all. You’ll be holding your farts. Almost all the time, you’ll be entangled in a long, warm-to-cold-to-heated/hater warm war, with your neighbor, in the best case, with your neighbors, in the worst. Who’s gonna win the armrest? Who is gonna be a boss for being the first in the alley after the landing?
      Planes are Karens’ factory.

    • @randomstuff-qu7sh

I hate travelling by plane and do it only when necessary. I know its statistically safer than driving, but the whole experience just sucks. I haven't had many issues with other passengers, but the way you're treated by the airports/airlines isn't that great (Note: I'm not talking bad about the staff, just policy and the way things are set up). its a lot of hurry up and wait while getting nickel and dimed to death with fees for everything they can think of to charge you extra for. It seems like the only folk who don't have tip jars out are the flight attendants, and in my opinion, they're the ones who would be most deserving of a tip.
My worst experience on an airplane was when the person in front of me had a broken seat (and didn't know it til they reclined). They reclined their seat and it slammed all the way back very rapidly. That was painful, but no injuries and there was no malice involved; just a broken seat. Since I don't recline airline seats (I'm always afraid its crowding the person behind me), and he needed to recline in order to sleep, we traded seats.
