Hey there, TikTok lovers! It's Charlotte Dobre, and today we're talking about some tea that got spilled on the app. That's right, we're diving into some messy drama that's been making waves across the internet.
You know how it goes: one person shares something, and suddenly the whole world knows about it. That's exactly what happened when a group of users decided to spill their tea on TikTok. They started sharing their personal stories, exposing secrets, and airing out dirty laundry for all to see.
Some of the stories were pretty shocking, with people revealing scandalous details about their personal lives or their friends and family members. Others were more lighthearted, but still got people talking. No matter what the topic, though, everyone was hooked.
Of course, not everyone was thrilled about the tea being spilled. Some people got upset, and there was a fair amount of drama as a result. But for those who were just watching from the sidelines, it was pure entertainment.
So if you're looking for some drama to spice up your feed, look no further than TikTok. Who knows what secrets will be spilled next?

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

Her followers asking if they need her permission to put up her wallpaper that they bought killed me. 💀💀💀
Exactly...at first I was confused and then I was "Isn't that the damn point.?"
Asking if Tay to credit them for their cloud room they had as a child. 💀 🤣
Influencer/salesperson on the internet.
Green + blue? Groundbreaking
@@kristenmagann6172don't you know. That's such an unusual color choice. Green and blue are so rare to see together
I feel bad for the DIY fan. All the work she put in emulating that creator and now looks at it with sadness.
Right? Like I'm redoing a room soon and gonna tiktok vlog it bc I think I came up with some fun unique ideas for showcasing collections and I honestly dont care if ppl copy it or anything bc I did it first anyway lol
Having dealt with the online photography community being a photographer, Once you post something publicly it's basically no longer yours 😅
She also had a lot of those decorations in her old apartment even before the other girl called her out
That's so weird too. She's a DIY creator. Isn't emulating her creations the point of it all? It seems she lost the point of why she's doing DIY and being influencer got into her head.
@@AnthonyeatspooThey also showed how she did give credit to the DIYer, so that excuse doesn’t hold up either!
It’s even sadder because it seems she did give credit when needed and apparently some of those things she did before or unrelated to the other creator
The crazy part is Karrin DID credit Tay in every songle post! And the color of her kitchen thing actually wasnt because of Tay, Karrin colored her dishwasher several different colors because people kept telling her to try different colors. She didnt settle on the blue until like the 4th or 5th color after her original choice
I was just gonna say that
Thank you for the context. I was gonna say this was the piece of info we were missing.
Ooooo spill that tea
Also, Kaarin's moss mirror was better. Just had to say it.
I went to a very expensive show not too long ago and brought my niece. And the venue we were in said no signs. Well my niece is still a little shorter, but she could still see…until the lady a couple people in front of us pulls this sign she was apparently hiding somewhere out and is holding it up for 3-4 songs in a row. A few people asked her to lower it and she cursed them out. So I grabbed it and tore it in half and threw it on the ground. Sorry, not sorry. Don’t be an asshole. Those tickets weren’t cheap. I didn’t pay all that money for my niece to cry and stare at the back of a piece of paper. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ oh well fight me bish lol

Any time a friend of mine does or says something self-care-y, I am seized with the uncontrollable urge to tell them "As you should, babe."
I should confess, I copy you all the time. My favorite is throwing my head back and saying "How are you not embarrassed?!" lol
Saaammmeeeeee
i do the "the AUDACITY!" lmao
I start all my emails to coworkers with "Hey Everybody! Welcome back!" 😂😂😂😂
I do that all the time now too😅
Sorry Charlotte, I've been influenced
I've been known to yell "Absolutely NOT!!!" in my car at idiot drivers trying to do stupid stuff around my car...😅
There’s been a lot of concerts that I’ve actually recorded for a family member who has autism and gets too overstimulated to go to them on his own and he loves watching the videos over and over. Also I love watching those videos back and feel like it only reaffirms what I saw in the moment. But to each their own.
I just met my science teacher yesterday and she said “warning I am petty.” Which instantly reminded me of the petty queen. As I was watching during lunch earlier that day.
Did you tell her about Charlotte? She might enjoy it (but don’t think it will win you any points!).
The best part about the diy scandal is that someone actually went back and proved that tay beebop actually copied the other girl 💀
Whaaaaaaaaa now I have to deep dive into this drama

Wait what
I love Charlotte's summary of the first story. "An influencer...is angry...about influencing someone?" 🤣
Hilarious!!!😂😂😂
Did girl 2 give credit to her designs though?
Exactly what I was about to post!
@janebaker4912 Yes every single time
Absolutely nailed it
Omg I've been seeing all her apology videos on Facebook. Soooo many apology videos and for over a month I've been like wtf is this girl apologizing for because she never says what she's apologizing for. And the mystery is finally solved. Thanks Charlotte ❤
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The last clip is actually brilliant, not just for breakups, but for safety reasons. As a young adult female, I'm alone a LOT. Creating the image that there is always someone else with me could prevent creeps from trying to find me. I used to live alone. Call me paranoid, but I don't want to become a statistic. Stay safe out there!
How are you going to sell a product (wallpaper) then call someone out for copying you by using the wallpaper?! 🤦♀️
She deserves whatever bad press she gets.
This
it seems to me that she was upset that she took a lot of things from her and then published the videos and did not give credit to the original author. I don't think it's just the wallpaper that's being sold, but about the overall principle.
@@Gabinka259 , why give decorating advice or sell products if you don't want people buying and using it?
It makes no sense.
Some of us have no idea how to style things or use color schemes, so if we see something we like, let's say in a magazine we try and replicate that look.🤷♀️
Whatever happened to the "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" idea.
@@Gabinka259 , the majority of comments from people who watch both creators say she gives credit to the other creator in every video.
I honestly think it’s because she went off her bipolar meds around that time. I remember her mentioning that in one of her shorts, that would have been the same time as this conflict (same hair colour, same project). I’m not a fan, just casual viewer and I don’t want to nor feel the need to make excuses for a creators bad behaviour, it’s just something that I thought *could* be related
And now that poor woman accused of "copying" has to look around her house and be reminded every minute of Tay and how she treated her like crap unless she changes it. 😞
I watched a video of someone who was painting over a DIY she got off Tay’s page and in the video she is telling Tay how she felt about the attack on Karin.
So you think it's completely fine for people to take your ideas and make a bunch of money off of it? That's what the difference is if you are I do a DIY at-home it's completely different than a large influence her stealing a small DIYs channels ideas and making money off of it. That's what the problem is and that's why all of you are in the wrong. And now a small artist and a small business was destroyed by a large influencer. If you are making money off of someone else's ideas that is illegal it is theft. It's called intellectual property. And you are free to use other people's intellectual property as long as you aren't making money off of it. The second you start monetizing its as you're in the wrong both morally and legally. I hope none of you ever come up with a good idea because if you do karma's coming for you. A large influencer is definitely going to steal it and make millions then ruin your life if you try to call them out.
@@WhitneyDahlinfinally!!!! Someone with common sense! Everyone on here is saying she was bullying, no she was just defending her hard work from being stolen!
@@Fine_mess101 if you feel that way you need to hold the same energy with Tay as well. She gets all her ideas from other people. Other creators and artists contribute to her art pieces and she doesn't credit them. She's claiming that blue/green color schemes and moss mirrors are her ideas but she didn't come up with them. Both were just what she ended up with after failing a project and getting comments to change or fix those projects. Which is the same thing that happened with Kaarin. The comments are what decided on the outcomes of a lot of these projects. And others Kaarin had previously done in her old apartment and was just doing again cause she likes them.
Nothing was stolen. Kaarin was at least honest about where her inspiration came from.
@@glitterbug5678 I will, I need to look into it more then. Because I guess I’m missing some info? But yes, if anyone’s ideas are stolen, yes I will keep the same energy. Because that’s money and exposure being stolen. I see people stealing ideas all the time on TikTok, and not crediting anyone, just because they feel like they are well known enough or don’t think they will get caught. Very disrespectful.
I mean… I had my phone out the entire time at my first concert because I’m poor and probably won’t be able to go to another concert again at least for a decade. I filmed every single stage they had because each one was AMAZING. Everyone had their phones out during the concert too because the concert I was at is a once in a lifetime thing since it was their FIRST WORLD TOUR.
Completely understandable
Totally just curious but how many times have you rewatched it ?
@@a.rae. constantly. whenever I'm sad, I bring up the videos and it reminds me of the band and my own love for performing. Their concert was 2 hours of pure talent and since I don't have the money to go to concerts, rewatching me meeting the guys afterwards and how they interacted with me literally gives me back my will to live. Most people film kpop concerts
@KawaiiKermit love that!! Glad to hear that. I guess the few I've always recorded are gone now. But I think the difference is I never had a true love or passion for the artist. So I'm glad you do and it makes a difference

Charlotte is really my only way of knowing all the Tik Tok drama that goes on 🤣🤣💖💖
Honestly though, I don’t have the app so this keeps me in the loop 😂
Same
You know what Charlotte? She credited her every single time she used her as an inspiration.
Also, the "monster" art she accused her of stealing was not a monster room, it was a dinosaur themed room.
The DIY fan had just purchased her house and was recreating themes from her old house (which is in her old videos), so she mostly just copied herself.
If she credited her, I don't see a problem.
where did she credit? all the posts i see come off as if it’s her own idea
This is my first time hearing about this drama, and that monster art accusation was a major reach. Along with everything else.
The thing that kills me about the Kariin/Tay story is that:
1. Kariin ALWAYS gives credit when she is inspired by someone else’s diys
2.A lot of the diys Tay listed were already in her previous apartment, so she incorporated them into her new place
3. Some of the diys Kariin and Tay did were posted within days of each other (sometimes Karin’s were posted before Tay’s)
4. The moss mirror and the color choices were also happy accidents: Kariin made the moss mirror cause the foam mirror she had been trying to make didn’t work out (the foam cracked) and she had started with the green and had used a pretty periwinkle purple as the contrasting color. But people said it looks like Buzz Lightyear so she changed it to yellow. But then the yellow and green together reminded her and her husband of corn. So she changed it again to light blue 😂
THANK YOU! I was doing research and noticed the happy accident things too! Also Tay didn’t even start the squiggle paint, blue and green, or moss mirror trends. The fact that Kaarin still agreed to stop using Tay as inspiration and Tay still went off like this? Irredeemable.
My first thought was (your #2) the pink squiggle Kariin had on her living room wall in her old apartment! Also, gotta love how she dismissed Kariin's amazing food bowl sculptures as "something else".
Someone commented in another video Emily Ryana uses squiggles a lot in her content. And she does. I see her vids sometimes. So to claim she invented squiggles whilst her friend does the work and no mention of this friend has ever been seen on her content. And use content she gets inspired by and not credit sounds a lot like she doesn't want to be called out for being a basic copy paste person. But someone who strives so hard to be unique and original.
Tay is such a problematic creator. Every time is some petty drama of how someone has "wronged her". She is a very privileged person but also struggles a lot and social media just seems to make her behavior and the way she perceives things worse.
Thanks for the history on this. I was siding more with Tay thinking well if she feels like a channel is trying to rip her off then ok but this clears that up for me
My grandmother always told me never to be upset if someone copies you or something you’re doing wether it be your style, makeup, fashion etc. She said imitation is the best form of flattery and it’s actually the best compliment you can receive! It shows you’re doing something right! Set those trends & accept the compliment!
Love my grandma miss her so much!
I honestly think the problem is the lady thought. The other girl was copying her and doing a better job at it, which made her jealous. Ultimately all boils down to jealousy.
I feel really bad for the woman who was inspired to decorate her home by the creator who didn't understand what it means to influence people. People are so affected by their surroundings, and now she has to live in a house decorated in a style inspired by someone who hates that she did that. I'm glad there were consequences for the influencer, but I really hope there was some healing for the other creator so she isn't surrounded by reminders of that awful situation. (Also I wanna do a paint squiggle knick knack wall just to piss this lady off! Petty decor!))
The first influencer is really burning her bridges. If her friends are speaking against her. It will take more than an apology to regain her following. My heart broke for the crafter who thought she was being respectful. You did wonderful. Don't let one bad person keep you from doing what you like.
She wasn't given credit that was the only issue
@@rubyroze6622yup, could’ve all been fixed a simple message in the inbox asking to be credited
@@rubyroze6622there was evidence of her being credited
@@rubyroze6622 but when people asked Kaarin was honest that she was inspired by Tay. And Tay doesn't credit people who she gets ideas from in her videos.
Tay doesn't even credit friend who makes decals for her projects that she uses in videos.
If credit was really the issue then Tay needs to credit all the ideas she's had to the proper sources as well. Before she throws fits about people who are fans of hers doing the projects that she posts for people to do themselves. "diy". Cause she didn't come up with the majority of them. Most of them either came from Pinterest boards or commenters.

I had a copycat recently. I sell art for a living. It's my full time job. She was VERY inspired by my art and style. About half of her pieces were straight up identical copies. She was selling them to customers. I reached out to her and she admitted her wrong doings, completely owned up and removed the content. I was floored. I have mad respect for her now. I never mind people copying for personal use, especially if they ask permission/credit me. But building a business on straight up copies is theft, no? Sometimes, it's hard to tell where the line is. All worked out for the best in this case. I do wish her all the best with her art and hope she comes up with some original ideas. She appreciated that I reached out in private too. There's a way to deal with these things.
I absolutely agree with this, if they're copying original work exactly for profit, that's not ok, but for personal use, I think that's ok. If you have the skills that is.
The difference is is that the "copycat" gave credit always. I follow her.
And they're DIY accounts! How can you make a DIY account and then get mad because someone is doing the DIY?
That's how I had interpreted this situation initially. It wasn't that she's doing the same shit, it's that she was making content/money from the same designs. I can understand both sides, no one wants to feel copied. But influencing and straight coping is different, the colors and everything being the same is a little much imo.
@@TheTeslacoilz my point is people have DIY channels for people to do it themselves too. She gives credit. I'm an artist as well. A painting is not the same as a DIY project. You can't expect no one else to do something you're showing them how to make. I don't think it's any different from MUAs doing specific looks. The point of the channel is to have people copy your work.
@kalenhuntley3508 I agree with that. If you have a channel for inspirational art works/diy the Channel/instructions are for that
The only thing I can argue for people recording the whole concert is being able to watch it back over and over later, I did it a lot when I was younger. I finally stopped in about 10th grade and only take a couple now but I used to obsess over these bands so hard I’d delete apps and pictures just to capture the whole thing
I did it for my very first concert recently, I don’t have a very good memory so it’s amazing that I have the videos to relive it!
@@kendallanderson6511 I'm kind of the same. I've been to ONE Metallica concert in my whole life (FYI one of my top 3 metal bands, and only one of TWO actual concerts i've ever been to) back in 2008, before recording video on smart phones became more easily accessible and better quality (and yes, i know i probably sound like a frigging boomer with that statement), but i have very little recollection of the performance itself apart from when i listen to the professional audio recording that i purchased, of that performance (and most of the banter between songs that i enjoy hearing is blatantly cut out). I'm not saying people should be recording the WHOLE effing concert on their phone, but i personally would enjoy having some kind of visual record for my own amusement and entertainment to watch and relive those moments for myself, by myself. It doesn't really matter to me in the end that i'm not "living in the moment." and it's not that much different than watching a professional recording a concert you WERE at, except it has multiple angles, with much better sound and visual quality, and you probably paid for it. Telling people to just "live in the moment" isn't satisfactory for some, like myself. I wish i could remember more about that show and how i felt the first time i witnessed songs like "Ride the Lightning" and "Fight Fire with Fire" live with my own eyes and ears. And if i ever get a chance to go see them again, i probably WOULD record it with my phone. But hey, that's just, like, my opinion.

@@WhitneyDahlin I agree she couldve credited or like didnt copy her EXACT sheme with the colors and everything, theres a line between inspired and straight up copying a style.
@@WhitneyDahlin except that's not what's happening? Kaarin has recently moved houses and a lot of people on tiktok have already proven that she did some of the diys first or so close in time that it couldn't be coppied... plus although the crafts may seem similar, the two have completely different styles and some of the stuff (like the dinosaur head wall) that Kaarin is accused of copying is literally not the same at all, or the moss mirror that Kaarin did like that on accident while trying to salvage a failing craft? Also if i recall correctly, Kaarin does give credit where credit is due, but we all have to realize that a big majority of these diys are not even new and has been around forever so no one (but the first ever people to do them i guess) can really take credit....

As a person who used to drive 45 mins from Tustin/Irvine to Buena Park (near Anaheim) every day for work and back, I can tell you that during rush hour, there are particular exits one kinda has to take to be able to access certain roads without wading through traffic for an hour. We had this one little exit I needed to take around Firestone Blvd if I remember correctly, and it had to be that one or another few minutes before I could pull off and turn around to take the road south to work. Anyway, when a person has an exit coming up during rush hour, the idea is that people start lining up a bit. You know it's gonna be slow leaving the freeway, but you take your turn and are polite. Then come along these asshats in their fancy cars who speed down the second to right lane all the way to the front of the line and try to butt their way in. Often without blinkers. It's _dangerous,_ it's rude, and most of us won't have it. There are times some of us have pulled into the _shoulder_ to block people off from sneaking up (illegally) along that area. I love calling those in and watching the cops show up. Super fun.
Sometimes the semi trucks help block a lane to prevent line jumpers and I love it!
@@mayneeyuh8713 yeah lol! i freaking love truckers.
Those people are scum... but also I can't believe I'm seeing someone actually mention Buena park. As someone who lived there for the majority of my life.
These people dont seem to understand that it's no different than lining up at someplace like the airport, or the ever-so-pleasant DMV, you know, back when you had to actually physically go there and get in a line that took two hours just to move a few feet?
Am i right, fellow boomers and millenials??
No...?
Just me.....?
*cricket noises maybe*
Anyway, it's just like that, when someone thinks they can just bypass all the people who have been waiting patiently for their turn, because they think they're more important and should be at the head of the line. Nobody's going to let you in, especially when you didn't even bother to have your blinker on!!! Drives me bat-shit crazy when i see that.
Know that area well hated going to work in that area commuted that way for 2 years was so glad when that company went Belly up in 07.
As someone who drives about 2K miles every 6-8 weeks, the clip of all the drivers muscling out the entitled SUV made my heart SO happy ❤❤❤
I’ve seen someone else talk about the DIY thing. The fan’s “monster heads” are dinosaurs, the moss wasn’t part of her original plan for that mirror, her viewers suggested the moss to cover texture flaws she hadn’t accounted for. And she did credit taybeeboop or whatever her name is in at least some of her videos. I haven’t seen them for myself so I don’t know how often. But she clearly earnestly admired Tay’s designs and drew joy from the inspiration she got from them. It’s sad that Tay let her frustration and jealousy that someone inspired by her was so successful on TikTok get the better of her.
Isn't it the other way around? Tay copied Kaarin or whatever?
Her reaction is a bit fucky but to be fair, the other girl was making videos with her ideas, only slightly different and making money off of it.. that is a bit of a gray area, no? Like yeah people can do the same thing as you, but when they make money with your ideas it becomes a bit different?
@@estoypoopin3937 Well, moss mirror wasn’t copied, the green-blue combo also wasn’t, because Kaarin did it first and the viewers suggested those colors. Dinosaur heads and decorated lines are all over Pinterest so Tay can’t claim that those are her designs. Also, both of them have issues with properly crediting original creators
Unless your idea is trademarked and you are the sole legal owner of the full rights to saId idea as your own intellectual property, anyone is free to use “your” idea however they please. Don’t purposefully post your idea online as a DIY if you don’t want others to repeat it or make it for themselves in any capacity, including monetization.
There is no “gray area” with DIY. The sole purpose of DIY is to literally teach others HOW to COPY your ideas! And the worst thing about it all, is that these “ideas” that she claims are “hers,” HAVE ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE by other people, and have been all over Pinterest for years.
She isn’t the original creator of ANY of the ideas, she wasn’t the first person to do them, she has no legal ownership of them, and she then uploaded those “ideas” online under the DIY category teaching others how to replicate them. She has no right to be mad at the other creator, because she has no right or ownership of those non-original ideas, and she willingly and intentionally made them public to share with others.
The moment you post those “ideas” online, anyone else is free to use them however they wish, including making money off of them. Don’t post them if you don’t want anyone to copy them, and definitely don’t post them under the DIY category.
The situation couldn’t be more black and white IMO. It’s pretty clear cut to see that the “original” creator is the only one in the wrong here and has no leg to stand on. Especially considering the other creator who was “copying” actually DID give her credit multiple times previously before all this drama, and especially considering that none of those ideas were original ideas that have never been done before. The very nature of DIY is a never ending circle of people copying one another. That’s the whole point.
@@estoypoopin3937did you just not read the comment you replied to? She didn’t copy any of it, and she still gave credit for the squiggles which realistically Tay can’t even claim as her own considering she doesn’t own the design of squiggles.

as a short girl, i had to see a kpop concert through my phone while recording because i couldn't see by myself 🥺 all the lightsticks (which are normal to have up in the air) + my high + tall people in front of me didn't let me see that much 😂
As someone who works in live events, where there are phone policies like “don’t be obnoxious” I loved the reaction to the sign at the concert 😂 and Charlotte! Never apologize for being tall and loving heels! Others can adjust in standing room only venues 😂
For the first "drama": I've seen others cover this whole bs, and the thing is, she DID give Tay credit in lots of her videos. She did.
She just mad that the customer was getting more attention.
Be nice if she had a better sound editor too. Can't understand half what she said. Same for most tiktok ppl.
damn thats insane!
Yeah I was going to comment that.
Aaaah - knew it had to be that the “copycat” was getting more attention 🙄
DUDE. I understand being upset if someone was following all of your tutorials and diys and not even mentioning where the idea came from. BUT literally having a friend of yours help with your ideas in the first place and NEVER crediting her is crazy.
Literally, I watched some of her videos before this whole shenanigan started and I distinctly remember he saying "MY vinyl squiggles," the fact that it belongs to her friend is actually insane.
Also. Kaarin DID credit Tay. She was super honest and transparent when she was inspired by Tay. Tay just wants credit for projects that weren't inspired by her. Moss mirror, green blue kitchen, dinosaur head sculptures, ombre room. All these projects, while having similarities to Tay's projects, were not made because of Tay. A lot of it really was just coincidence that they both did it.
The moss mirrors weren't either of their ideas. They both messed up a project and commenters said to use moss to cover it up. Cause it's an easy, trendy, Pinterest-esque DIY
So I go to a lot of concerts and music festivals with my son. We are usually in the pit and we record when our favorite songs are performed and occasionally for our top tier artists, we record most of the show. We have a shared folder and rewatch these performances over and over. These are shared memories that I very much treasure
9:30 I saw the greatest bumper sticker that said…
✨Let me merge before I start crying✨
😂😂😂
I want one! 😂😂😂
So let me get this straight, she was pissed off because she saw someone inspired by her DIY...using this analogy, IKEA must be fuming😂😂😂
I wonder what she thinks DIY stands for. Don't it yourself?
That was straight up copying single White female style that was not ‘inspired’
@@phiakateA good amount if the examples Kaarin posted first not Tay
Also the times Tay did it first she credited
@@phiakateAhh yes, making a dinosaur room is copying a monster room. Please be serious.
He did a quick overview but the Kaarin DIYer did credit her in many of the videos including the wallpaper video! So all bases were covered and she still got mad...at a fan and customer.❤
13:19 as a short person who goes to concerts, I actually appreciate those who use their phone to film, it's like my own little stage screen and I get to see much more of the performance. I often try to wiggle myself in behind the person who's phone has the biggest screen with HD 😁 definitely no signs though, that sucks.
HAHAHA the car trying to cut in. I've legit been a part of that petty line not letting them in. It's common for people to try skip the traffic to turn off a highway by cutting in closer to the exit. Tough tiddies, pal, if I had to wait SO DO YOU. I'm such a petty driver though.
My favorite part about this whole situation is that there’s receipts that kaarin didn’t copy and actually did a lot of these ideas and crafts before tay and I love how tay has never credited people who give input, ideas, and designs that she uses for her DIY’s
Tay literally got the moss mirror idea from a comment, and never once mentioned the person who suggested it.
The customer literally credited and said she was inspired by that creator on a bunch of her videos. As a DIY influencer, you can’t get mad when people recreate your work. That’s insane.
9:00 this is like 95 in Florida. I swear because he will try to hop in front when you’ve been sitting there waiting to get off a ramp or you’re stuck in traffic and they’re trying to just cut in line after you’ve been sitting there waiting for mad long so now you’ve been together with the other drivers around sitting there with you just as long and make sure they don’t get to cut the line and they get to the back where they should be, that’s how you petty on the road 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I so badly wanted the cop to park in the spot & wait for space-saver-neighbor to roll up. 😄
Imagine being mad for someone being inspired by you 😂
Exactly! I'm completely convinced that the majority of the people on the planet these days are ass backwards!!!😅
I would be soooo flattered!!❤
"They're my squiggly lines 😡. No one has ever done this very popular Pinterest design ever on their walls before me."
Like girl... If you don't want people to be inspired by you, take yo ass off tiktok.
Imagine being mad when yourself took all those DIYs from pinterest...
Imagine selling wallpaper and getting pissy about the person who buys it and using it I’ve seen some dumb internet drama but this takes the biscuit
That wasn't inspiration, though. That was straight copying.
That DIY creator getting mad at someone who bought their line is like us buying a petty couture velour suit & Charlotte making a video saying “I SEE WHAT YOU’RE WEARING!!! I SEE YOU WEARING MY MERCH-it’s like you want to BE ME!!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
YES!!! 🙌 Obviously that woman’s ego is bigger than anything else in her life … she influenced someone to buy and use her products and promote her products for free (free commercial) … how utterly ignorant.
No, that is not the same at all, because the girl from the video created a TikTok channel showing the DIY's and gaining a following as if they were their own creations. That is why the original creator was pissed, I would be too.
@@cindyp4553 her ideas aren't original. Most of them are inspired from Pinterest if you look in to it also someone on tiktok just proved that the actual diy creator actually copied some other girl
What if Charlotte was like- “I was wearing it, and now she’s bought it and she’s wearing it. She’s copying me!!”
It's a CA 405 vibe. People ride the rails til the end and dive in. No blinker as well.😂
blocking the view when youre tall is relatable. i always feel bad for people behind me at the movies
I don't think I've ever seen Charlotte as legitimately riled up over anything as much as the phones at concerts. I laughed when she joked about the videos looking and sounding like crap. So true.
THE VIDEOS LOOK AND SOUND LIKE SHIT AND THEY'RE NEVER GOING TO WATCH IT!!!!!!!!😩😂
@@CharlotteDobre AND NEITHER WILL ANYBODY ELSE!!!!! Like why not just USE BOTH OF YOUR HANDS TO PARTY?!

@@CharlotteDobreAnd wasted a hella lot of money on a concert you didn't even watch and maybe thinking you can watch it over and over again. Then, you push play and all you have are a lot of other cell phones, people singing badly with an occasional quick view of the performer. I'll never understand.
Dude honestly 😂😂
That first DIY woman who was inspired by TayB*tch honestly looked so heartbroken. I hope she continues to follow her joy and *petty sprinkles* a way more successful wallpaper line. As an artist myself, and having sold at art shows, art is about creativity and I thought those were inspired but not stolen by any means. That's why fashion brands have labels. You can't trademark a creative idea. So to see someone so bitter over a fan, follower and customer enjoying her work is something I hope she looks back on and is ashamed about. This is the artist equivalent of being unsportsmanlike.
I mean if she put out wallpaper I would buy it just to support her and give her a better career than that other clown 😂 I prob wouldn’t even use the wallpaper just pay for it so she can make more money than the other girl Fr
I totally agree with you about being in the moment for a show instead of recording it.
I don't know the full details such as who's design came first, but what some people aren't getting about the DIY story is that both girls are designers and influencers, i.e. they make their living from their creativity. It's not like someone who is just decorating their home for fun and sharing it online. If you use another designer's original idea then you need to credit them. It's also bad taste to copy multiple ideas from another designer, whether they are credited or not. Imagine if this wasn't interior design but a singer continually making songs that are almost identical to another artist and then crying when they got called out.
I honestly ADORE Kaarin Joy and her style. She's sweet, fun, and has a lovely heart. I'm so sad this other creator publicly crushed her in such a MEAN-HEARTED manor.
If you like Kaarin Joys style, then OH BOY do I know another designer you will love 😂
@@js8qp2pwisoslol true
You could see the legit sadness and regret in her eyes. She really had no malicious intent.

(a manor is a house)
It’s crazy how people have forgotten that mimicry is one of the greatest showings of praise. You did something so fantastic I myself wanted it, and I had to have it too. Truly one of the greatest compliments you can give a person.
I have a neighbor that copies me, everything from my clothes to front door decor, plants and trees, design elements of my home....I pity her, she isn't creative at all and has to copy everything she sees...her house is a regurgitation of my style, sad to be so unoriginal. I'm not flattered, it's weird within a day or two of any changes I make I can guarantee she will follow suit...very odd ...
People haven't forgotten it just, rightfully imo, turned to widely being weird and creepy once you start copying multiple things.
One person copying because they feel it as a praise shouldn't have an influence toward the copied person's feelings. If I don't like a coworker buying the same clothes I wear I don't care what their intention is. I'm uncomfortable.
@@bumbygrl Yes. The woman was clearly out of line and/or overreacted but I get watching someone slowly turn their life into yours if you're just a person and not bring out catalogues with how you should design your living space is very weird. Even more so if you don't mention where you got the idea from.
She wasn't given credit was the whole issue
I don't think it's the issue of exactly copying the decor; it's the issue of copying AND making content about the design ideas, and not crediting where the ideas came from. The original creator isn't wrong for being upset, but she could definitely have handled the issue in a better way.
I never take videos or even pictures at a concert. Like you said, I'm there to watch it with my own eyes, not through a phone!
I used to record, but then I noticed I remembered the stuff better from when I didn't have my phone out. and then I never watch it later. If there's a song that is absolutely gorgeous but idk the name, I'll def record and try to find the song again later. oh and sometimes thestage is set up so niiiiice
13:43 I was an operating room nurse for many years, and when the phones came on the scene, whenever I went to a cesarean section where the mother was awake under spinal, and it was time for the baby to be delivered, the father (or SO) was watching the entire delivery through their phone. they do it for vaginal deliveries too, I hear. Nobody is in the moment anymore - not even for the birth of their children.😂
NGL, I kind of like being among a group of motorists who decided to unite forces against that ONE JACKASS that kept weaving and cutting everyone off. It warms my heart.
I don't think any of those jackhole, me first always, selfish type of drivers are capable of learning, but I really do enjoy being a part of a group trying to teach them 😂
Especially when there is a lane ends sign several km ahead and they don't get over until the last bit!

That's clever!
the best is when I go to concerts lately all the crowd surfers are filming selfies while crowd surfing! Its so weird. Im with you, just enjoy the moment!
I hate it when people think that they have the right to cut in line after a merge sign especially during construction. After I have been waiting 20 minutes, someone thinks they can pass me and I should let them in, not.
On the first part: I feel bad for the girl who took the lead from the influencer. She's now stuck looking at all of those changes until she decides to change it to something else she really likes.

The DIYer acting like they were the first ones to ever put a monster head on a wall. The ancient Greeks were doing it thousands of years ago and taxidermists have been creatively expressing themselves with animal heads for so long.
I went to a Lady Gaga concert years ago and the guy in front of me stood up the entire time to ensure nothing was going to disturb his camera on a tripod to record the entire concert. That was the last concert I attended and am not going to waste my money on an obstructed seat because of a rude, entitled person. He didn’t even show any excitement or emotion so it was purely for financial gain. It totally ruined my time.
I bought 3 tickets to Taylor Swift so I could take my daughter and granddaughter. In front of us was a mother and daughter who stood up dancing, singing and waving their arms in the air the entire concert. Not only could we not see but they were singing so loud, we couldn’t hear either.
I wonder if he was a member of the crew. Security doesn't respond well to professional equipment, do they? It's been years and years, but I had film confiscated by security at a concert. Some Karen ratted me out. Luckily I saw them coming and stuffed the two used rolls in my bra. I only lost 5 photos. I was a teenager and thought rules didn't apply to me.
I would totally yell random stuff etc so at least his video is worth less. People like him are ******

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. She’s a DIY creator, which basically amounts to showing people how she does things and inviting them to try. It’s the same as if someone had a fitness channel and they were mad that people were doing the same workout or bought the same outfits. Unless it’s copyright infringement people can do what they want when it comes to consuming other creators content. If she was taking her videos and uploading them to her own account and claiming they were hers that would be different. Expecting others to not use products available to the public is unreasonable.
Also … the inspired person PURCHASED materials sold by tay…. She bout her products !!! Like seriously! She made money off her admirer and got a free commercial to get others to do the same! That girl was foolish and lost it all …
I recently started following the girl they're claiming to be "stealing other influencers styles." I think she does a beautiful job incorporating the pieces she gets inspiration from. I'm not an influencer, but I use her inspirations in my home without displaying it. Every style (of ANYTHING) you see is always copied from someone else, very rarely are things 100% original. It doesn't mean it can't still look good.
It’s weird I don’t get the problem..it’s inside peoples houses it doesn’t matter does it 😅 I’ve read that she was the one who actually copied the girl she’s calling out also 😮 drama!

Honestly, I hate large concerts & I quit going. The anxiety, the high prices, the drunk people, the parking situation, the mass exodus afterwards. It's not worth it.
9:05 Legally yes you should yield to merging traffic HOWEVER, I've seen way too many times in which drivers don't merge when they are supposed to, and instead zoom further up the line to then force themselves into the lane. I live close to theme parks people do this all this time. I'm glad those cars held their ground. It's like waiting in line, you don't just cut the line.
I live in one of the top 10 worst traffic cities in the US and the cars refusing to let the guy in made my petty heart happy. While I get it's good karma, most of the time, the cars know (or can deduce) that everyone in the backup is going the same way as them and try to jump the line to save time. This actually creates more traffic and more issues for everyone behind you when you let people get away with it. It's more of a petty lesson than being rude.
Why didn't the idiot in the black SUV go to the next exit??? I'm certain this SUV has GPS...
Go to the next exit, circle back...NOT THAT FREAKING DIFFICULT!!!
I'm actually really confused about no one letting them in because wouldn't that be zipper merging? Which is supposed to be better for traffic right? I'm genuinely confused! I have a lot of driving anxiety so when I see things like this I don't understand it adds to it!
@@SquishyCow right, people will sit in a 3 mile long line, meanwhile there's an open lane. Zipper Merge.

@@SquishyCow Zipper merging is for 2 lanes going the same way or merging into one, not for using a lane going another direction to cut in front of everyone else. I live in a bad traffic area with confusing roads/exits too and sometimes people genuinely mess up and miss their exit. Most of the time, they block traffic in the next lane over to squeeze in front of the long line of cars in the lane they actually wanted.

Charlotte, you sweet, sweet angel. There's driving etiquette and procedure to be followed. People make mistakes, it happens. But there's no way I'm letting anybody cut in line if they're not even asking but just plainly assuming I'll let them. Putting the blinker on is the very least one can do when one is already in the wrong.
The entitled SUV could have just gone to the exit, for goodness sake.
This is a daily occurrence in the northeast metropolitan area. Big SUVs/trucks pick out small sedans and basically threaten to ram them into the guard rail if they don’t let them in so they can skip the line. It’s super dangerous, causes a ton of accidents, and holds up traffic. F ‘em.

We went to see Tori Amos last month and several rows down in the orchestra section where people paid over $300 per seat, there was a girl standing up, singing along at the top of her lungs, with her arms outstretched, gesticulating like she was in a music video- for like 5 or 6 whole songs. That was half the show. I can’t imagine being the people who were seated behind her. With the merging thing, I don't care if people don't realise where they need to go or change their mind last minute. Me and my husband took our eldest daughter and her friend to a Taylor swift concert and her friend was filming the whole concert,i eventually took her phone away and she quite happily enjoyed the rest.
I can understand getting some of it on your phone here and there for memories. But all of it? Dang! You did the right thing.
When I saw Taylor Swift in 2018, I recorded some of it for memories as in small clips. I only fully recorded my favourite songs (which there were only 3 or 4 songs and of course the whole of Slow Hands with Niall) and took some pictures and mini clips. One of the videos I recorded was Shake It Off because it’s my favourite song and I was up close. I made sure that any time during that and other concerts if I was filming, it was more for memories rather than quality. If I wasn’t having fun, then I would stop recording.

Honestly most people copy/ imitate someone. Whether a family member or someone we watch. The fact this influencer saw to publicly embarrass someone she help influence and customer is horrible. You can tell in her videos that she got the inspiration from her. She may have it like that and then once she seems comfortable she may tweak it to better suit her budding style.
