When dating my hubby he made this incredible meal. I later found out he did the same meal for other girls. I asked him about it and he got sheepish and said it worked to get him some action in the past. Well it worked that night on me.😂 If it works don't mess with it. He became a chef and girls I have never eaten so well. He was a keeper. Sadly he passed but the best 28 years of my life, food wise, we had our ups and downs like any couple. But definately a keeper.

When I was young and dating, I would make my Mom's spaghetti sauce because it's delicious and foolproof. I've had several dates tell me it's "restaurant quality". On the last one, it wasn't just the neighbor who got nailed, the tree company also has to pay since they basically climbed the fence and never bothered to find out who owned the trees.
On that last story, I feel like the company that did the tree removal should also face penalties. Like, they should have confirmed that the guy paying them had the legal rights to the property on the OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE.
Right??? I wondered what kind of shady ass company would agree to climb a fence to fell trees without proof of property ownership from the idiot asking!!!

Air Canada lost my cat for two weeks. I was livid!! They admitted to dropping the cage and that the door must’ve opened without anyone noticing.

If I ever had to (air) travel with a pet for any reason I'd make sure they could either be in the plane with me. Or if it was a larger animal, make plans for someone I trusted to drive them. WAY too many horror stories of lost/ended up dead pets for me. I'd be paranoid.

@@nom-nomnami1743No kidding! The cargo hold is not temperature controlled, and it gets COLD at the altitude planes fly at. Then they also sit on the luggage vehicle and tarmac in full sun for extended periods. My dad and I adopted my grandma's small dog when she passed. Dad's job was pressuring him so we couldn't even stay for her funeral. We had to fly home, but her soft sided carrier was approved for cabin travel. You have to use a carrier that will fit under the seat in front of you. She pretty much had to lay down to fit, but thankfully each of the two flights were only about an hour and a half each incl taxiing and the midpoint airport had some grass outside so we could let her stretch her legs a bit and take a pee. I'm sure it wasn't any fun for her, but I wouldn't have trusted her in the cargo hold.
People think that the cargo hold is climate controlled with air like the cabin, but it's not. Plus the bags are on a slope with pets at the bottom, so if a suitcase shifts midflight and rolls down the hold you have to prey that the crate is stronger than the suitcase. That's a nope from me, dawg.
cutting down those trees is sacrilegious!! in the Melbourne CBD in Australia, a lot of the city owned trees have an email address so people can easily send in maintenance reports, but people started sending in poetry to the trees... i relate big time, as my family names every tree we planted at my parents house, and refer to them by their name rather than by their type.

I can tell you for sure that those cops did not put her in the back of their car. They left her there. She was just the passenger, was being compliant and calm from her stance as well. She was left there for sure, probably confused. Hopefully though her phone was on her and not sitting in the car somewhere, so she can atleast call and get a ride home.

You know who would eat the first girls up? There’s a Museum of Broken Relationships. I can see each woman that did the “Paint and Sip” date with this dude putting their final piece in an exhibition ran by this museum, stating that “all of these paintings were done on dates by the same man.”

My mom did something similar after a major snow storm caused a tree branch to fall off and impale my moms car. When the weather got warmer she asked our neighbor (since he was the one who planted them) if she could trim them to prevent this from happening again and the neighbor totally understood. The people she hired however, removed the trees all together, my neighbor was furious, and and sued my mom. The only thing that saved her was later surveying her property line to reveal that all the trees planted by our neighbor were on our property, therefore she was within her right to remove them.
I found on smaller planes they want to "valet" your carry-on since overhead storage is limited. However, they are less likely to valet it if it's in a soft case, so I always pack my backpack and duffle bag. They are more likely to valet hard shell suitcases.

Just a lil psa about the kitty washing. Don't! Don't do it on the inside, it's self cleaning. Don't use soap, scented products, douches or any of that sheisse. There are special cleansing oils with the right pH for the outside of the kitty.

Since I stopped using soaps and only use water now, my yeast & BV infections have massively reduced. I wish more people were aware of this. Ya kitty is SUPPOSED to smell a bit salty/somewhat sour, as the good bacteria in the vageen are supposed to keep the area sour for reproductive health and cleanliness. The smell often comes from discharge which is basically a natural antibacterial lubricant for the factory down there. It's normal, essential, healthy and nothing to be ashamed of.
I wish there was more awareness about this and taught in every school around the world. Now, men are taught to expect a flowery scented vageen, and women/AFAB's are shamed for having a completely normal and healthy body scent.
Frick all the companies that profit off of women's their insecurities with these batshit crazy soaps, vaginal deodorants and - I'm not kidding - "flowers & herbal vaginal tablets for a refreshed intimate spot". They're useless at best, and horribly dangerous at worst!

Fragile suitecase: My brother is a Marine Corps vet and was stationed in the Pasific. The second time he was there, he bought 3 pieces of pottery - one for each of my parents and one for me. The pottery survived the military flight to the states (they absolutely do not understand the definition of fragile or gentle). They did not survive the domestic flight within the country. How they managed to survive the military and not civilian flight, I will never know

I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the strike going on in Los Angeles right now, but universal cut up a bunch of trees that were providing shade for the strikers DURING A HEAT WAVE. There was no permit to do so, so universal is getting heat for that, not only because of Tree Law, but also, quite possibly, Bird Law, because there’s no proof that the trimmers looked for next of endangered and protected birds. All this, just because actors and writers want to be treated decently

The trees cutting story hit home hard... I remember the day the city decided to cut off a magnificent plum tree that was just behind my backyard's fence and kept my bedroom's window from being seen by the neighbourhood, just because they did not want to keep trimming the longest branches once a year. It was indeed their "right" because the tree was considered on public space, but I was devastated nonetheless... Still am several years after, every time I look through the window.

For that pedicure post? I'd like to give that poor man a bit of advice: ER doctors and nurses have to deal with some seriously rank 💩 sometimes. They deal by dabbing a couple of drops of concentrated peppermint oil on the inside of their facemasks. It's so potent that it overwhelms your olfactory receptors, but with minty freshness~😊🌿

That's a very good tip! The scent of peppermint is not only pleasant, it tends to help one feel alert and energized.
I'm not one of those "essential oils cure everything" types, but peppermint oil is fantastic stuff! I wish I'd known years ago that mice absolutely hate the smell of pure peppermint oil. I've had 5 vehicles destroyed by rodents chewing up the wiring, in two Subarus, the little bastards ate my distributor caps! That's when I found out that some car companies like Subaru make car parts that are very "green" and have edible plastics that are made of soy/wheat/corn. They also use peanut oil as a lubrication for threading the wiring harnesses throughout the engine. To mice, it's a regular buffet!
I recently found out that yellow jacket wasps also hate peppermint so I keep a spray bottle of peppermint oil diluted with water and with a few drops of dish soap on my porch.
Ive used vicks on the inside of a mask before too. Had to clean up a rotten animal from side of yard. Poor thing decided to hide under a shrub and Holy moly thats a smell in 90°f days

Yes, I've heard they dab Vicks Vapo Rub under the nose (like mustache area) to deal with unpleasant smells in healthcare settings or if someone has deceased.
LOL...somehow I think that wasn't so much a how to manage stinkin'fish...but more a PSA for women to think about their stinkin'fish. LOL...way back when I was all of 17-18yrs I was in the scoring position...when a wave of stinkin'fish arose causing my eyes to water so bad I was blinded...too bad my nose wasn't "blind". It's often said that memory is tied to scents and sounds...that's one memory I've never been able to escape.

Summerfest 1974, Buffalo, NY. The festival seating stadium was packed. Emerson, Lake and Palmer were closing out their set with “Hoedown.” People were crammed together in front of the stage, dancing, except for this one spot directly center stage, where there was about a ten foot circle where nobody was dancing. Band members were gesturing at the spot to get people to dance there. Nope. They couldn’t see the pile of poo, or the bare footprints trailing away from it, and probably thought we were all just jerks.
The problem with romantic, perfect dates, is there are only so many realistic options.

Ladies, if your kitty has a bad odor it is unwell. It may need an antibiotic. I’m an RN who has seen many sick kitties. If you don’t have a Dr, most cities have clinics where you can get treatment at low cost, with family planning too so you don’t have a litter of kitties. Also, that boy that got you sick, he needs to be seen too sometimes, or you’ll just get it again. Keep those kitties purring girls! 🐈
As someone who was born and raised in Alberta, and still here in Edmonton, the amount of folks now unable to keep their pants on anymore these days, you don't have to sleep with anyone to see everything down below hanging out nowadays. I see all that at least 1-2x a week just walking down the street, and those folks don't care, nor have any shame.

Those are not breast implants. Especially implants that have been in a person for a while, and caused breast cancer related illness. They are shaped entirely wrong. Also, when they remove breast implants, they are either returned to the company in a biohazard box (if there is a problem with the lot number, or if they are of the specific type (gummy bear implants) that cause a specific, rare type of lymphoma, only attributed to that type of breast implant.) or they are destroyed as a biohazard. Like your body adheres to them. They don’t come out all nice and out of the box looking. How do I know this, you may ask? I had breast cancer. Everything that could go wrong with the implants/ expander did go wrong with the implants/expander did. I had expanders rupture, which caused an infection and nearly killed me. (This was in the middle of hard core IV a chemo.) They had to leave me without an implant on that side. (And the expander is super firm and super perky. So it was like Dolly Parton on one side, and shark bit victim on the other. 🦈. When we were trying to figure out what type of implant to use. I felt touched and tried on every blessed type of implant I’m about 3 different sizes. None of them looked like that.
Then when we were finally able to put a darn expander back in, the stupid thing flipped. Inside. Of. My. Body. (My plastic surgeon was a well-reknowned, chief of plastic and recomstructive surgery at a major cancer center, in practice for 30 years. I asked how often he’d seen expanders “flip.” He thought about it for a few seconds, and then responded with, “just yours.” So we had to remove that one and just try to get the implant in. As a result, I look great on one side, and like someone mashed my breast into a pancake on the other. So now, it’s either lifetime deformity of more surgery. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. But, on the brightside, mastectomy bras and a,prosthetic for that side are available at no cost through my insurance.

Something super ironic is that Michael Burham escaped jail only to break into an apartment building owned by a retired guard from the same jail and the current sherrif of the county of the same jail 😂
I know this because I just moved into it the Monday before he broke out and had my apartment raided looking for him. I had to deal with the police basically every other day until he was caught after that 😅
