This channel is low key therapy for me you and the guys played a major part of my life through everything I went through I knew wrestling would be there thanks for this channel man🙏🏾🙏🏾
You are not the only one! I'm now 43, I am a woman. I discovered WWE in 2010, when my life turned into hell. That type of hell which gives you PTSD. So, long story short, I wasn't even able to get out of my home, I was in a so bad emotional and physical shape. Here in Poland WWE is not popular. I discovered it on some sport channel. I had no idea what was all about initially, but what attracted me were those wrestlers' amazing skills, their endurance, strength. Someone told me" Nah, it's all faking". Well, it cheered me up even more, because it definitely take much more precision, responsibility, and so on to "fake" a fight than to have a "real" fight. In real fight you don't care about your opponent at all. It made me interested in learning what type of people are those wrestlers. How do they master their skills, and moreover... how they are able to take a risk and endure pain. And to my surprise it turned out, that they are , in a way, regular guys. What makes them tough is ... making themselves ready and willing to take the risk and endure pain. Those guys taught me, that facing, understanding, enduring my pain, and practicing to unlearn my PTSD reactions and emotions, makes me a little, tiny "female wrestler". My PTSD is a result of prolonged abuse. Thanks to watching wrestling, I learned, that my emotionally abusive ex bf didn't "win". Even if I lost everything, including health, job, reputation... I decided to use my inner pain to finally ask good questions. What did I do wrong? What were my mistakes? Where I lacked wisdom? Why someone felt free to treat me badly? How can I get new, better skills, to be able to defend myself? How can I heal my wounds and toughen up? What should be my "finisher " if necessary? You don't learn such things from your lovely granny. You need to learn it by watching what drives tough guys, who get beaten or a regular basis. Read as : you learn it by the people who willingly endure pain to toughen up, become better, more skilled and more respected. I was wondering how to evolve from my inner "Vickie Guerrero terribly desperate vibe" to a mix of joyful energy of AJ Lee, self-confidence of Randy Orton and the impressive strength of the Undertaker. I really needed to reinvent myself. I still need. Maybe WWE is just a "theatre of strongmen / tough ladies", but I , as a woman I learned a lot about myself and what I need just by watching it. Now, watching Maven's channel is even more inspiring and therapeutic, because I can see how it all works "behind the scenes", I can learn more about real guys behind the gimmicks, their stories, joys and failures. There's so much to learn from all those stories! And as many of you, I believe Maven is a wonderful storyteller, a very kind man and what's the most appreciated is his honesty.

Randy must be a great friend to have, from your description and what I've seen in videos. I remember watching a video years ago of Randy dancing and twerking and his wife recording without his knowledge. It was so hilarious when he found out he was being recorded 🤣 what a guy!
It'd be fun if Randy was sitting on the back seat the whole time you were driving and filming the video and the moment you say "you never know what's around the corner" the camera moves on the seat behind driver and Randy makes a funny face expression to shock all the viewers with his iconic pressence. :D

Honest to truth i clicked the video to listen to the drama and if possible a confirmation of the rumors, but was happy to be wrong. Thank you for sharing a bit of the life you had in the WWE, I'm certain you would be awesome as commentator or better yet, a manager for the new talent. your promo skills are insanely good.
Maven is forever grateful for the opportunities he was given and the friends he made along the way. What a guy he is, shoutout to the big man, this channel is really what wrestling fans have been longing for. Cheers man 🎉
What is going on here??!!! You are one of the most humblest, inspiring human beings that seems so genuine. I hope you all the success and like others have said, you would be a great addition to WWE announcing!!!! LOVE THE CHANNEL!!!
I love how you readily accepted the mantra of "We treat everybody fairly but not everybody the same" of the WWE. Different people have different worth. Not surprised to see you two slowly lose contact, you guys were in a bubble but once one of you leaves that bubble, it's natural for that contact to peter out. Hope to see you two reunite sometime to catch up.
Another great video Maven. Its a sad fact that the vast majority of our friendships, including close friendships, eventually end or you just lose contact with them as people change jobs, move away, get married, form families, etc.
As someone who has worked as a Ring Crew Member and Ringside Security years ago for the now not really active anymore NECW, I saw the real wrestling world. This was back when the whole Pro Wrestling just being scripted storylines and predetermined outcomes wasn't exactly well known or believed yet. So I remember getting a lot of hate from people because they didn't believe it was fake. So having someone like Maven create a community that can acknowledge what wrestling really is and keeping a respected community with it is in my opinion a very beneficial thing. So I just want to extend a huge Thank You to Maven for taking the time to show the inner workings of this wrestling world.
Nothing fake about wrestling clown. How did you work around wrestlers and you still are disrespectful enough to use the f word. You should be ashamed of yourself
So that story we've heard about bags all these years was true 😅 Edit: Glad that their not talking wasn't because anything bad happened between them. Also i smell a hint about returning at the end...
Maven, I remember meeting you in 2004 at an airport. You had on a football jersey and I got your autograph. I think you were at a coffee shop but I don’t remember for sure. I was a teenage boy back then, and it was a very cool moment for me. Have watched a lot of your videos and appreciate your perspective on things. Blessings, man!
Eh, I honestly feel like this should have been done with a dash cam in front of him, rather then with the camera to the side and constantly glanced at. Especially with the sunglasses on it would still do the same effect of making "eye contact" while staying more focused in front of him. People tend to forget that when you are driving it's not just potentially your own life at risk, and distracted driving is still distracted driving.
Maven, I just wanted to say thank you for all your content and creating your channel. It’s crazy to come full circle from watching you as a kid and just knowing you as Maven the wrestler to know being able to come to know a little bit about Maven the person. Your words of motivation have helped me to just take things head on without excuses. As you said, excuses are just tools for the weak and incompetent. Whenever I feel down putting on a video of yours never fails to lift my spirits. Keep up the good work!!
I have never been a fan of the shows , watched a few on television just for the sake of watching it. But here I am watching your videos one after another with some kind of addiction. I hope someone that matters recognize your communication skills and put you on right place sir.

Randy has been my favourite ever since he joined evolution, and i'm 31 now. He is so smooth, calm & perfectly tomes. I love to hear these stories about him as a real human being, similar to Undertakers recent podcasts as I've found Randy to keep reasonably private. Keep up the good work Maven. I remember watching and loving your season of tough Enough back in the day. Glad to see that your fit, healthy & happy! Thank you for introspective & extremely detailed content. You're a good man!
Randy Orton is a Legend in St. Louis, Missouri. Thats where the tough guys and girls in that locker room like Harley Race Bob Orton. Legit tough guys.
What? It made sense til the end. Then ya lost me...
Oh hes just a legend in st Louis Missouri?
A lot of great talent from that neck of the woods
Like Jonathan Coachman

Love the wrestling stories. Watched all the videos in a few weeks. Thx and keep it up!
Yep. That’s life. You keep moving on. Keep your parents, siblings and immediate family as close as possible.
I hope the Undertaker video being removed wasn’t WWE being dicks😞
Who else would do it?

Well after they made such a big deal about Cody using the name "Rhodes", nothing they do surprises me and does anybody know if this is true or not, that when they bought WCW they didn't get everything because Dusty Rhodes had some of the things he created trademarked, and Cody sign them over to WWE as part of the deal for him to get to use the name Rhodes... if it's just a rumor I don't want to spread it but it certainly seems possible
I remember when the Amy Webber incident when it happened. This was PEAK Randy Orton being a menace. It also shows how bad the lockerooms used to be to allow those things to operate but back then it wasn't. I'm glad he's changed
I always heard that just cus Weber didn't know who he was is why Orton got all mad. But here Maven made it known that it was cus Weber had asked Randy to take her bags😂

Maven, by chance if you do see this and read this, you're a class act. More people should thrive to be like you. You're humbleness is unmatched and very genuine. We all appreciate you and your channel here on YT. The algorithm agrees. I wish you many years success and happiness on the road to 1M subs :)
I'd love for you guys to sit down and make a video talking about the glory days. Great video as always.

Maven, seriously, you give the absolute best videos on insight into the wrestling business, and I love youre positive and real outlook on it all. This video is no exception. Please, please, please, keep them coming. Also, just so you know, Randy Orton is right behind you... RKO OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!
This is the best Wrestling/WWE channel there is. Maven needs to be able work with the WWE in any capacity that he desires.
no drama, no rumor mongering nor assumptions, just honest and fun memories revisited between Maven and his friend.
I always look forward to watching your videos your bring back such good memories and makes my day that much better plz keep them coming 😊
I hope Randy reaches out and you guys do a video together!
Maven coming thru for the lunch break!!! Love fridays
This is a sincere testimony and I bet Randy feels the same friendship towards you even after all these years, brother.
Im so proud you're from my area. We all are, Maven! God bless u man
Maven uploading = day is better already
Once again, another important business phone call.
Man is revealing state secrets
So awesome to hear early Randy stories that didn’t paint him in a bad manner.

Maven, you're channel is great, man. Best wishes
Hey Mave, could we get a video of you trying to guess wrestler's tattoos? That'd be fun!
This is an astonishing idea!!!
Excellent idea! Good job OP 👍.
I excpected at the end of the video for randy orton just to drop in on the driver's side window and say what's up.
Another great video Maven. Its a sad fact that the vast majority of our friendships, including close friendships, eventually end or you just lose contact with them as people change jobs, move away, get married, form families, etc.
This is wholesome, I like how you look so happy when you're talking about Randy. Everyone's got that one old friend whose always fun to talk about.
He makes such good stories

So that story we've heard about bags all these years was true 😅
Edit: Glad that their not talking wasn't because anything bad happened between them. Also i smell a hint about returning at the end...
I smell a video with Randy coming soon
Maven, I remember meeting you in 2004 at an airport. You had on a football jersey and I got your autograph. I think you were at a coffee shop but I don’t remember for sure. I was a teenage boy back then, and it was a very cool moment for me. Have watched a lot of your videos and appreciate your perspective on things. Blessings, man!
Love hearing about your experiences in the WWE. Such memories. I'm sure Randy has equally fond memories of your time together as well :)
Im surprised Maven is older than Randy, Maven still looks really good
Orton looks great for his age aswell though
I think its kinda insane how good you can talk and even maintain eye contact with the viewer while driving, cudos for that.
First off he’s wearing sun glasses. And how hard is it to glance at the camera while driving on an open road
Man you were crushing on Stacy at the end haha I would’ve too 😂😂😂
Maven, I just wanted to say thank you for all your content and creating your channel.
Hey maven there's a documentary called "the dark side of Randy Orton" and it'd be cool to see a video about your take on it since you actually know Randy, great video and hope to see Randy on your channel soon.
