You are correct up to a point: Nunes also gets paid PPV points because she is a UFC champion. Her base pay is what gets filed with the state athletic commissions because that is what gets paid on fight night. The PPV money gets paid after the fight, and to any UFC champion, the PPV money is 10x what the base pay is. When Ariel says that Francis's contract only paid him $7 million, this also doesn't include the PPV money. The PPV money is based off of PPV sales so naturally it can't be calculated in advance, but again it is much much more than the base pay. So technically Dana is right, that if Francis had remained champion and kept making PPV points, he would have made more in the UFC. Francis wanted guarantees that even if he lost the championship belt, that the UFC would keep paying him PPV points. On Ariel's show during the negotiation process with the UFC Francis admitted that if he had signed the updated contract that included PPV points because he was then the champion, Francis said he would have made between $7-13 million on the Gane fight. So in a way both Francis AND Dana are correct. Dana is including the PPV money and Francis is leaving that out.

The were a question about his fight against John Jones and Francis did answer by saying, he was waiting that fight for so long, but no deal has been proposed to him. I'm glad I watched this. I heard everything Dana said recently and it changed my mind, I thought that perhaps Francis was the bad guy in this situation. Now it's so clear to me that it's not true, Dana didn't get his way and he's going down the path of slandering Francis. The point about Dana worshipping Jones to get back at Francis makes a lot of sense, especially when you consider what Dana was saying about Jones at the time.
I'm curious how any fight fan couldn't be a fan of Francis Ngannou. My issue with the UFC is that the organization's biggest star is Dana White, and it's not even close.

Pleazzzzzz check out the last conference fight of Francis in the UFC, WHEN he was defending his title. The were a question about his fight against John Jones and Francis did answer by saying, he was waiting that fight for so long, but no deal has been proposed to him. Dana was present during that the day and staying 30 cm near him, but he didn't react to that answer. So, I guess, if Francis was telling Bullshits, knowing this guys, he would have reacted to restore the truth. So definitely, I would say somebody isn't constant in the argument and it is Dana White.
