While I'm finishing up my review of ACOSF (which should be coming to your eyeballs this weekend!), I had some thoughts about the drama on the set of It Ends With Us. What's the tea between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively? Why is everyone suddenly turning on Blake and Ryan Reynolds? Is this drama even real?

i have genuinely been waiting for their downfall since that fucking plantation wedding. there's something so soulless about both of them, a certain chilling emptiness in the eyes. but i had only heard very distant rumblings of this drama, i didn't even know they were making a movie of this book until i heard something about this mess. this was all i needed to know though honestly, thank you for making the perfect summary! and i think you make such a good point about how there's a good chance this publicity was initiated by them, people were definitely taking notes as the whole don't worry darling fiasco was going down. it makes a lot of sense to me that they were trying to stir up coverage without realizing how people really feel about them and how everyone would react. i really hope this is the end for blake and ryan, or at least leads to a steady decline in the amount of times i'm forced to see one or both of them

@@rchapy891 the plantation wedding, or the million blinds about her before that husband shopping and Ben cheating on Jen g with her when filming the town, then Ryan on Scarlett- with the mass gaslighting of their magical date where their sparks were just zapping across the table- conveniently after his divorce. The only character she has played well was her on in a simple favour, and only because she didn’t have to dig deep for it.
So if they truely were re-writing scenes on set, Blake and Ryan are scabs. They filmed during the writers strike soooo. Yikes.

i laughed at that too but i watched her video on the Kendrick v. Drake beef, scrolled and skimmed comments and literally someone bitched ab her use of “star signs to judge people”. Prior to that they misspelled hypothesis so honestly what can ya do?
“Their brand is being annoying” 100% they are basically professional trolls. It’s kind of ingenious bc then if you don’t like it, you’re stuck up, didn’t get the joke, etc. Being known for having no tact has made them indestructible for a long time. There’s a video of Blake calling Leighton Meester a monkey and then being like “OMG it was a joke” 🙄

Ignoring everything else, I think producers and directors shouldn’t act in their own films as a general rule if they want the film to be decent quality. Especially not the main roles
