Hart of Dixie is romancey and also amazing with the small town vibes
@@sylvie1815 thank you for the recommendation!
You definitely need to check Sweet Magnolias, the small town vibes are incredible! Thank you so much for the recommendations, I can't wait for fall to arrive ❤
@@pau9 thank you for the recommendation!
I remember when 'Jane the Virgin' was on the air and I watched it daily. It was soapy, over the top, yet it also hit you in the gut with the family element between Jane, her mother, and her grandma. Highly agree with this recommendation.
@@citydweller99 yes that’s exactly why I love it!
So many good shows here!! Over the Garden Wall is one of my favorites, my husband and I watch it every fall 😍
What a fun tradition! I love it! 🍂🐸
@@HannahlovesStories We always look forward to it!! Love the frog emoji haha
Ever saw “Dawson’s creek” on Hulu.
It’s based on the life story of “Kevin Williamson” - like Gilmore girls , Dawson is an introverted teen that is very smart and lives in a quirky small town, however , he dreams of growing up , moving to Hollywood and making movies , especially teen horror.
In real life, he grew up and wrote the scream/ghostface movies, the early seasons of the vampire diaries, I know what you did last summer, etc. but Dawson’s creek tv show has a small town vibe, coming of age x drama style.
@@beforethenextstep305 I have not seen Dawson’s Creek yet! Thanks for sharing the background behind that show! That’s very interesting 🤔♥️
A really great show for small town vibes is Northern Exposure. So much fun with hilarious quirky characters.
Sounds perfect! Thanks for sharing ☺️
I believe if you like Gilmore Girls you should enjoy these 15 you didn't mention:
-Dawson's Creek
-Everwood
-Felicity
-Friday Night Lights
-Hellcats
-Life Unexpected
-North Shore
-One Tree Hill
-Summerland
-The Carrie Diaries
-The Mountain
-The OC
-Ugly Betty
-Veronica Mars
-Young Americans
Awesome, thanks for adding to the conversation!
@@HannahlovesStories You're welcome. Any of these you've seen?
No I have not seen any of these. But Ugly Betty, One Tree Hill, and Veronica Mars have been on my list for a while. Guess this is my sign to move those three up the list and add more shows to it!
@@HannahlovesStories Ah, well happy watching! And to note, two sets of two shows in my list cross over with each other: Dawson's Creek/Young Americans and One Tree Hill/Life Unexpected.
_Young Americans_ should be watched between seasons 3 & 4 of _Dawson's Creek_ and _Life Unexpected_ should be started about midway through season 7 of _One Tree Hill,_ alternating episodes based on original airdate being probably the easiest way to go, the most important being watching s8e5 of OTH and s2e5 of LU one after the other.
Also, if you plan on watching _Dawsons's Creek,_ hopefully you can manage to get hold of the original boradcast versions, as the home video (be it DVD, VOD, streaming) replaces almost all the music from season 2 onwards.
Yes New Girl is one of my favorite shows 😍
@@Julia0R it’s so good!!
One show I would recommend to also watch if you love Gilmore Girls is Ginny and Georgia.
I have not seen that one… yet. Moving it to the top of my list!
I needed this video so bad!!

Great idea for a video and I haven't watched any of the recs.
I love Gilmore Girls but I only started watching it as an adult so I've only watched 2 series! Lucky me to have it all to come 😊 it's super nostalgic for me as well, as I grew up in the same time as Rory and can relate to that.
