The first 'Top 10 Gilmore Girls Moments' list counted down the most memorable moments but we missed a whole bunch! It’s time for a second list. In this countdown we remember the time Rory dropped out of Yale, Luke pushed Jess in the water, Lorelai broke down thinking she was a bad mother, Richard telling Emily she can go first, Rory’s first day of Yale and many more!

oh nonono! the best lorelaixluke moment is their first date, where he shows her the horoscope he kept for years! I cried lol
yes, especially when luke told lorelie that "he's totally in" WOW💕
that AND their WALTZ!
@@NJ-pz6vz And then book end it with what happened at Richard and Emily’s vow renewal where Luke says he can’t take being near her family because it’s too much work after he finds out Christopher is there per Emily’s request to break up Luke and Loreali. Loreali finds him hours later in the Black, White & Read movie theater watching a sad old movie. Loreali tries to explain everything to Luke but he doesn’t want to hear it. He’s had enough and he says the exact opposite of what he said on their first date, “I’m out.” When Loreali presses him on what that means he says it’s all too much the drama in the family and he can’t be with someone who clearly won’t fight for them to be together by trying to knock some sense into Emily and Christopher. This is also so sad. She didn’t think Luke would react this way. She thought he would be mad but mad at Emily and a Christopher and not her and they could plot some revenge on her family together.
Sobbed the most when Luke and Lorelai broke up the first time and she leaves him that message on his answering machine that she needs him. It was heartbreaking.
That totally had me in tears. :(
TakeAChanceBeHApppy This was where everyone blubbered like Luke in Rory’s Chilton graduation
me, too!😪😥
It really was
I wish that she invited him to stay after he came over
emily & richard we’re perfect together, definitely the original endgame.
rip, Edward, we all love and miss you ❤️
know what? a fun fact: Edward was also in The Lost Boys!
oooh19 such a amazing film! i definitely would’ve let him turn me into a vampire! ❤️
My no. 1 moment will always be Jess calling Rory out. Milo's acting made the scene even more powerful. His delivery of "WHY DID YOU DROP OUT OF YALE!?" was another level of impressive.
for real tho!!
And then the silent head tilt haha, LOOOVE it
@@ericasings2181 I actually got teary eyed when he did that. he was so worried. it was so sweet. 🥺🥺
I love Richard's prank on Logan. One of the many times I wish I'd had been able to get to know my grandfathers-not that they would've done this kind of stuff for me but it would have been sweet to know them.
funny how a few years later Logan ends up proposing to Rory in front of Richard! We love a full circle moment!
One of my favorite moment is when Lorelei redecorated Rory’s room with Yale merch after Rory struggles with her college decisions (especially since she was always determined to go to Harvard) and Kirk made the t shirts for the whole twin saying “Rory is going to Yale!” Also when Paris’s nanny brought her kids to Paris’s a Hilton graduation as she was the only family Paris had while she was growing up
they have to make a season 2 of gilmore girls year in a life
jackie knouff Ikr especially with that ending.
i know right
, and that cant be the final four words the creator wanted to end with
jackie knouff I would love that too! I think it's so hard to have all the actors back though :(
*****
i agree with you
That would be exactly like GG1. Rory has a child from Logan and it takes her 15 years to be finally with Jess. God, no.
How is "Sherry's pregnant" moment is better than "I will always love you" moment??!!
IKR
@@laceypaddick6254 Everyone hated Christopher so much that they were really happy when they found out that Sherry was pregnant, because it meant Chris and Lor couldn't be together😂
@@lucyleviston7271 I.... Really like Christopher, I actually liked him with Lorelai more than Luke :D
@@hannahk9712 how dare u!!
@@hannahk9712 don't u ever say that again
'WHY did you DROP out of YALE!?!?!?!?!'
MissMaaacy That's on the first part they did.😉I love that line as well.
I love that scene. Jess really knocks some sense into Rory but I'm team Logan soooo.......
@@beataziecina7770 same
MissMaaacy **bopps head
ugh his delivery is so powerful
Another scene that i really like is the one where Dave reads the whole bilble in one night just for Lane.
"Luke can waltz." -Lorelai
"Luke can waltz?" -Rory
"Luke can waltz!" -Lorelai
Lol
Yes, Luke can Waltz ❤️
Rory has to have a girl so there can be 4 generations of Gilmore girls
Nope I'm hoping for a son
Grace Williams No she should be named Emily.
Do keep the pattern going.
I'm betting she'll have a boy and name him Richard.
OR...a boy
where she and Lorelli, and Emilie are way out of their depth
Why not twins boy girl, why should we choose
Lorelai: ‘did you ever know that you’re my hero’
Rory: oh my god
Lorelai: ‘and you’re everything I want to be’
Is in my opinion one of the best scenes of Gilmore girls
"WhY dId YoU dRoP oUt Of YaAaLeE"
Richard Pranks Logan is one of my favorite GG scenes xD
The letter is very indicative of how much better Luke was for Lorelai than Christopher was
I think the "This isn't you, Rory" scene should've been higher on the list. I'm not Team Jess, but everything about that scene was flawless. 👏👏
she didn't go first :(
Emanuelle Faria when they played that I just started bawling. When they touched on his death in the revival it was so moving esp Lorelai remember her favorite time with her father. I wish my father did that for me even with all the disappointments that came from Lorelai he loved her so much. He was so missed in the revival.
That is making me tear up so hard right now. HE PROMISED.
As explained in the video him going first wasn't planned. The actor died and there was no way that if the actress of Emily was still alive that she wasn't coming back
What about when Logan proposes to Rory? And when Jess and Rory kiss in Season 6? And when Jess says I love you? And when Lorelai proposes to Luke? And when Rory and Paris both are broken-hearted? And when Paris doesn't get into Harvard? And what about spring break? And when Rory moves in with her grandparents? And when Logan and Rory begin dating? And when Marty confesses his feelings to Rory? And when Liz gets married? And Lane gets engaged? And what about when Lane finds out she's pregnant? And when Dave kisses Lane? And when Mrs. Kim finds out about Lane's double life? And when Luke finds out he has a kid? And when Christopher and Lorelai finally get together? And when Dean and Jess fight? And when Rory almost sleeps with Jess? And what about when we find out Paris is dating an old professor? And when Rory joins the Puffs? And why would you ever put when Lorelai buys Emily a DVD player? Sorry about the rant😬
AGREED
How about the whole last part of the episode after Dean breaks up with Rory the first time. I’m talking about from the scene at the house party where she kisses Tristan and cries and then goes home and says this iconicly sad line to Loreali “I’m ready to wallow now.”
the feels i got from this comment
I loved the scene that Logan, Colin, and Finn performed in the middle of Rory's class.
Collin and Finn make me so happy 😂❤
The scene where Luke pushes Jess in the lake is one of favorites because it's one of those moments showing how subtle he is with his emotions. Including when he drives all the way to Christopher's house to punch him, which strangely didn't show up here or the other list. I loved when Rory says to Dean BecauseI love you, you idiot! My favorite moment when Luke and Lorliel kiss was in the last episode after talking about her happiness
I am sobbing and sobbing. Number one spot is ... I just rewatched that episode. It's actually one of my favourites. Like just even seeing a couple seconds of this playing out is wildly crazy because it makes me cry. Even with a voice over talking through the scene.
the parallel between jess getting beaked by a goose and rory getting hit by a deer fascinates me lol
I loved Richard, was one of my favourite characters. Such a pity of his passing.
I sat and binge watched A year in the life today and I went through so many emotions
“I will always love you” oh my God I’ve watched that episode like 100 times 😍 love it❤️
Omg I'm sobbing over the no.1 spot. Right in the feels
I've got three for you: Rory tells Lorelai she's in the hospital, Kirk drives his car through Luke's diner, and Emily, in the past, finds Lorelai's "Dear Richard & Emily" note.
Bogmire42 omg YYEESS
Yes
one of my favorite moments has always been in season 4 I believe. Loreli is working on the Dragonfly and they are running out of money. Rory is failing a class at yale and has to drop it. They are having troubles with reaching eachother. There is the scene where Rory cries on Dean's shoulder and Loreli meets up with Luke and does the same....I have always loved that episode/ scenes
I love the scene where Luke throws Rory a going away party with the whole town in the final episode!
I love to replay all of theJess and Rory moments
Same
My favourite "i just like to see u happy" luke
Still no Paris and Rory Moments ?
One of their best moments as rivals and not friends is the gym class where they are fencing. This takes place after Francie plants some incriminating photos of Rory “brokering back room deals” with her in Paris’ locker. Paris feels betrayed by someone she thought was a close friend and chases Rory around the room with her sword. This incident gets both of them sent to the headmasters office where he says they better make nice and fast or he will call up Harvard on both of their behalves and tell them to withdrawn his recommendation for both of them saying they don’t deserve to go to the best school in the country because they are too immature to handle it. That’s a great series of episodes with Paris and Rory.
@@FrozenUSA they should’ve replaced #2 with that.
"This isn't Amish country!" Is one of my favorite lines
Finished the revival
*best moments*:
jess 😍
Maryam Ali sadly he had like 3 scenes I was so sad about that! And then the look he gave Rory through the window in the last episode!!! He is not over her 😫
secretly hoping they make a season 2, otherwise what would have been the point of the last words, such a cliffhanger
omg i know that had in me in tears I always wanted them to end up together even if I like logan its team jess
Agreed
Maryam Ali no
My no 1 moment HAS to be "it takes a remarkable person to inspire all of this". Breaks me every time.
I miss the first film by kirk...
I have tube honest, I fast forward all the Kirk scenes J find them cringe making and annoying Sorry it just detracts for me.
I love the movie, it’s exactly how I imagined it looked inside Kirks brain
I think Amy Sherman Palladino is armwrestling netflix for another season (which I'm all for) that ending is definitely not an ending, is another begining. Which would only work if there's another season.
But other than that (and the musical. and luke's hairpiece) it was great. I get Rory's storyline, she's not perfect, she's lost. And the same way she felt about dean when he was married ("he was my boyfriend first!") I think logan's and hers storyline made complete sense. It wasn't pretty to watch, but it made sense. And it did felt real.
Actually Netflix wants more, but ASP isn't sure
Sara Gray , that was the ending she had planned and I suppose that she desires to stick with it.
Anyway, sometimes cliffhangers are more satisfying than any ending that can be perceived. Case in point, the book of Mark, from the collection called the Bible, originally ended in a cliffhanger with the women, who saw the stone rolled away and the man in white, having ran away in fear; there were multiple "endings" written for it later. Then everyone was all, "Now what?" It was geared to get people to ask that question and then do something about it themselves, becoming participants in the story themselves. What could be more compelling?
So if she writes another season, what are the chances that it'll at all be good or even fit in with what she considers her completed and fulfilled vision?
Either way, she’s probably occupied with “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, especially now with the Emmy wins and it being renewed through season 3
I would love another season but it might be hard for them because all the characters are getting older and stuff idk
Have fallen down a Mojo-Gilmore Girls wormhole and now I need to go rewatch the whole series.
Luke pushing Jess is the best
That moment is hilarious!
Jess shook Rory into going back to Yale and gave her the idea for her book when she was totally lost in aYitL. He is so good for her but with the person she has become in aYitL, I don't know if she deserves him.
Rory was already thinking about going back. Jess gave her a push.
that one time that lorelai had to pick emily up from jail is amazing
omg!! that I will always love you part always gets me..
ZKT XO I was probably the only person who was actually laughing during that since Lorelai was pretty wasted (also Babette and Miss Patty XD)
LOL it was pretty funny though! But I actually replay that scene over and over again... I always gush every time I see it.
ZKT XO yea same here..
ZKT XO SAME
I felt embarrassed for Lorelai on her behalf.
I can't believe Rory's Chilton Graduation wasn't on this list
Vanessa Collen it was on Top 10 Gilmore Girls Moments
I think Lane's mom finding out about her real self and then being kicked out should at least be an honorable mention
When Rory and Jess called at the end of “A Tisket a Tasket”
THE LAST FOUR WORDS HAVE ME SHOOK
InhalePancakes WHAT WHERE THE FOUR WORDS
VOIDSTILES
R: Mom?
L: Ya?
R: Im pregnant.
InhalePancakes really? It was actually my guess that Rory is going to be pregnant
Anna W yep.
They were THE most predictable 4 words to any fan of the show
but EXCELLENT as we have now gone full circle. Rory is now the age Lorelli was at the beginning of the series. I WANT MORE......please Amy
top 10 gilmore girls a year in the life moments like if you agree.
Good moments? I don't think there will be enough to make a top 10.
Bad moments? Wouldn't know where to start... oh wait - 15 minutes of that crap musical.
Hope Plays I am in. I seriously get sick listening to the whine bags.
Elisheval , they were going for laughs because it annoyed Lorelai, but it went on so long it annoyed viewers too. It's so bad it's good? No, not at all. Lol! But it did pave the way for the farcical joke of Lorelai loving that song later on and Babette and everyone else hating it.
What about when Richard and Emily sing a song for Rory's yale graduation? That was such a wonderful moment
Favorite show ever! It's actually on the TV right now. I watched all parts of the revival today.
where tf is rory’s high school graduation speech? that was one of my favorite moments.
The new season, was so disappointing. Like Rory hasn't learned anything, she still having affairs like the one with Dean wasn't bad enough, Lorelai is still sabotaging herself and fighting with Emily about the same old. It was so disappointing and the last words? like a cliffhanger, are you serious? I was so exited and the first two were great, but then it became obvious that we wouldn't get to see who Rory would end up with (I know its not realistic that it would be either of them, but since everyone who created it knew we wanted her to end up with one of them, they could have shown us a little more).....
Ohh and Number 8, is the reason I really started to hate Logan, because he didn't care if she was still at Yale and he didn't care if she just became a housewife and number 8 is also the reason why I love Jess so much, yes he was an asshole in the start but he sorted himself out and he knew Rory better than anyone and that is why she should have ended up with him..... :(
Kira Jeppesen I agree with you Logan never push Rory he only wants for her to be able for him! Everybody thinks Jess is the bad boy but in reality is Logan not Jess! Jess = Luke!
Kira Jeppesen I hate Logan so much and am so pissed that Rory didn't learn anything! But if they continue this show into Rory's pregnancy maybe we'll see how Logan is the Christopher and Rory is the lorelai, then maybe Jess could be the Luke in the future. All hope isn't gone. Logan and Christopher share so many similar qualities like being cheaters and scared of commitment. While Jess and Luke are the characters that mirror each other.
giuliana barletta I agree with you but What I see of Rory She don't deserve Jess!
Yeah, I don't know if I want to watch more, I kind of hate Amy right now, the girls were supposed to have grown up in those 10 years and Amy took them back to 2005.... I get she didn't get the ending age wanted originally, but she should have realised that it didn't fit in and I don't think Amy is a Jess fan because obviously she would have had a better ending for him and Rory. I will just convince myself that Rory and Jess are together. Also clearly when Luke ask if Jess is over Rory and he says yes but looks in the window we can all see that he isn't :(
Kira Jeppesen poor Jess! He grow so much!
“WHY DID YOU DROP OUT OF YALE” is my fav scene ever and makes me love Jess so much more
I missed 'give 'dammit gilmore, give 'em back their balls' it's probably my most replayed scene ever. Any Colin & Finn moment really
Jess is Rory's Luke, and Logan is obviously Christopher
Hannah W And Dean... he fucked up 👌😂
Hannah W dean is max
logan is Richard
and Luke and Jess are so alike...they're both so stubborn lol
no actually Rory is more like Christopher, she needs a 'Lorelai' in Logan
The new 4 episodes just brought back old feelings lol, like how I can't stand Logan and never wanted Rory to end up with him. And how much I want her to end up with Jess lol. It was Jess again who kind of got her out of her funk. He matured a lot. I hope we get more episodes. I want to know what happens with everyone.
Didn't see your favorite GG moment? Make sure to check out our first list here! bit.ly/2guJCVW
MsMojo it's Edward HERMANN NOT Sherman!
LtMaver1ck Honestly! Got me fucked up
This list is so good form top to bottom! Favorite is the one when Jess is in the water!
I’ve rewatched Gilmore Girls sooooo many times! I watched when it originally aired too. Huge GG fan!
Lorelai singing I will always love you
Me and Luke sobbing
I absolutely love the episode where "Luke can see her face".
I like the prank Richard plays on Logan. I also remember Richard on a MASH episode and he did voice overs for the History Channel. He taught me a LOT.
Lorelei and Luke in Lorelei's kitchen having dinner with Sukie and Jackson and Lorelei and Luke get into a fight. The dialogue is sublime.
The year in the life was so good. The Fall episode was definitely my favorite.
11:41 Edward Shermann? Isn't it Hermann? oops
I loved the prank Logan and Colin did to Rory while she was in class
Binged the whole Netflix series today. The nostalgia fest continues.
Much better list than the other one!
Edward HERMANN... not Sherman. Just saying 😊
THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!!
I came here to say the exact same thing.
I love replaying Lorelai singing I will Always love you to Rory then to Luke
I love the episode when Luke comforts Lorelai when she was crying about her dream failing.
Emily confronting Shira deserves a spot in the top 10 not only an honorable mention - I'd take that over the "Sheri is pregnant" - scene any day
Emily confronting Logan’s mom after their BS to Rory…. 🐐🐐🐐🐐
I love you replay "you jump I jump jack"
I love all these moments, but as someone who LOVES Logan, I think he deserves some more top 10 moments! He and Rory were such a power couple, and had so many adventures together!!
LOL, I freaking love this show!
How anyone could have a mom like Lorelei and make her cry and feel like a bad mom I'll never know. I love my mom and all. But I mean Lorelei is mom goals.
I haven’t watched this show in at least 2 or 3 years. Why did this countdown video make me cry?
Dean and Rory’s first kiss will always be my favorite moment 😊
Honestly, this list is so much better than the first one...
There are so MANY top Gilmore Girls moments :)
In another video you should include the scene when Richard and Rory trick Logan after he embarrasses Rory in front of her class. Richard starts talking about marriage and stuff and it freaks out Logan. 😂
I love this show.
why am I tearing up at just these clips
This one is way better than the first set of moments, by far. Ahhhhhh, #5.
One of my Top Gilmore Girls moments is Rory's speech at Highschools graduation ceremony.
In case anyone was wondering about the revival, the entire show comes full circle. Rory is pregnant with Logan's baby just like Lorelai was pregnant with Christopher's. Logan is Rory's Christopher (rich, privileged, unavailable) and Jess is Rory's Luke. Rory is just like her mother, she belongs with Jess just like Lorelai belongs with Luke.
agree!!!!
I see what you are saying but I don’t think that Logan is like Christopher at all.
Currently rewatching Gilmore Girls and it's just so fantastic. Still holds up after all this time. 2 mins into the first episode and there's a RuPaul reference, I have all the time in the world. 😂
Aww this one was better than the last oh who I am I kidding I love every moment of this show!!!!
Yes we needed this on the day of the revival 🦄🦄🦄
this is a much better list
I cannot love this enough
it's edward herrmann not sherman
6 and 3 are my favourite moments ❤
OMG,there is now way the Luke and Jess water fight came in 9th, I can't believe it, that moment is so awesome.I had keep watching it again and again,it just makes me laugh so hard. I love Jess😘😘
Definitely picked the best moment for number 1. That one gets you right in the feels.
Season 2 for a year in Lifetime 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
yall keep leaving out the season 7 finale lol when the whole town comes together to send Rory off and Luke sews all the tents. BY FAR the most memorable
I like your list but my fav moment is the one with Richard on the phone " if my wife wants the first cup of tea, she'll have the first cup tea"!
One of my all time favorite scenes is after Chris returns to Sherry and he attempts to reach out to Rory, leading to a fight at the Gilmore's house at a Friday night dinner
