Mark my words, as I said earlier this year the sports card market will collapse. Since I made this prediction, the card market has tanked by over 50%. I also told you that the Michael Jordan PSA 10 rookie card was being manipulated by the higher end community.There is no way a card that sat around $20,000 for years could pump up to $800,000. No fucking way!!!
Everyone called me a hater, but I am just a realist and was looking out for the community. In this video you have proof straight out of the mouth of one of the bigger card dealers admitting the market is manipulated and fraud is going on. Furthermore, since my prediction, the Jordan rookies went from $800,000 to now $200,000, all from market manipulation from the higher ups.
I was the first person years ago to say the sports card market would explode. Everyone laughed at me for buying a piece of cardboard for $400,000. I was called an idiot, a fool, that this was the stupidest investment ever. However I made the prediction that the Trout card would break the all time record for a sports card sale of 3.1 Million dollars, which at the time was the Honus Wagner card. A few years later I executed my vision and broke the sports card record flipping a piece of cardboard from $400,000 to 4 million dollars.
After that the market boomed and the sports card market was no longer perceived as a hobby but a multi million dollar business opportunity. I then was the first person to predict earlier this year that the card market would collapse by end of 2024. At the pace we are going on now it will happen sooner. I said the sports card market would collapse just like the housing market crashed over a decade ago. To even solidify this, you have people in the card market now refinancing cards up to 60% loan to value to increase liquidity. You have people like Gary Vee selling shares of cards like a stock portfolio through his company “Rally.” He used to promote this opportunity until my video dropped on how this was market manipulation as well. Have you recently noticed Gary does not promote Rally anymore ?
This is odd for an entrepreneur like Gary that believes in marketing, branding, and content, but no longer chooses to promote his business. He just stopped cold turkey. A quick little research shows he still owns the company.
As this video shows, and straight out of the mouth of one of the bigger players in the game, the sports card market is in a crash and there is clear manipulation and fraud going on. Mark my words, I will be right again. I was right that the market would boom and I will be right again that the sports card market will collapse by the end of 2024. Stay woke from the G.O.A.T.

There is no certainty in sports betting at all. It's taking all the factors and coming up with a educated prediction on who you think will win. There is no way you can say with 100% certainty which team will win. If that was the case you'd be a God. Vegas dave is a educated speculator. And he's a douche bag
Well regardless on your personal opinion on what he is or how he is, I’m UNbiased and can only speak on what is on paper and when he is winning in the percentage he is claiming.. granted I haven’t bought his package all from start to present, then one can only say that he has a pretty good way of predicting a relatively good outcome of the games he picks. But how he is as person, well I’m not here to bash anyone or speak poorly about another person. But it is what it is

Does vegas dave know how a certain player is going to perform in a game or get injured??? Nobody in the world knows that. Vegas dave can't predict things like that so he can't say with 100% certainty

I agree. The modern sports market will crash and is. That is why I only collect older Jordans and Lebrons. Its a long term game in the end, but other markets because of this will thrive. Like Comics, Pokemon, and Marvel where there is way less emotion involved and actual structure/strategy. This was a great debate.

Hey Dave. Like you said Gary needs to speak about his next moves to drive up the interest and value, what if these guys buying the 800k card never actually paid 800k. What if he paid 300k but paid the seller extra to say it sold for 800k hoping to drive value immediately? Or if the guys who own these jordans are teaming up with friends to act like they're purchasing these cards for staggering amounts of money, but the actual purchase never happens. They just say it happens. It's like me and you making a deal and we both say I bought a Brian Bosworth from you for 10 million dollars. Nobody knows for sure if that happened but as long as the ppl have credibility etc then ppl will believe it. It's like propaganda. If you put it out in the news and say it enough then it has to be true right?
It’s the same thing that happen during the Great Depression people in the market inflated it cause they already had a ton of money in it made it seem like it’s hyped buy,buy,buy prices way over inflated, joe blow puts a lean on his property to buy into it. Market stabilizes, and now Joe owns something that is worth Pennies when he borrowed 100k on his house or whatever.

The card market is now tainted like the stock market. It's now manipulated by ppl with long money. I bet the guy didn't even actually pay 800k. What if the seller was in on it and it sold for less but was given an extra few dollars to say it sold for 800k. See they were all trying to raise the value of those cards way too fast. They're trying to artificially raise the values
Hedge funds manipulated the stock markets, and now they are manipulate the sport cards markets. Hedge funds bought and own PSA on November 2020.
If your going to spend 4 mill on a player with only 3 years in, why not buy a One of One PSA10 Mahomes?? Hosted 3 straight AFC Championship games, an NFL Record, sorry brady, never did that in 20 years in the AFC. 2 straight SB's, SB MVP, AP MVP, Mahomes has more NFL records then I can count, in only 3 years. I'm glad you made money on trout but that star has done nothing either in 11 years in MLB, one trip to the playoffs and went 1 for 12 at the plate and his team got swept. I enjoy watching Vegas Dave's videos and want to thank him for the risk he took with trout and making the market go up for everybody to make money. Vegas Dave is the GOAT. I think PSA shutting down started the downturn in the market and once the backlog is cleared they will reopen the lower submission rates and knock all the other grading companies out of business except BGS.
The only reason that Mahomes card got sold for 4 million is because it's a National Treasures card with the rare 1 of 1 NFL patch. National Treasures is best of the best in sports cards. Which is the most rarest card for a player, regardless of PSA BGS rated. PSA is more popular than BGS. But BGS has the rarest rating of Pristine 10 that's more rare than PSA 10.

I've been collecting and reselling sports cards way before it got popular. I was buying a few boxes a week at $20 per box and hitting 1 or 2 autos per box but now the same box is going for $100+ a box lol I am waiting patiently for the market to just crash and watch the buyers who are buying all the boxes and rasing the prices up to panic and sell them once value goes down. It's only a matter of time. I'm already seeing local sports card shops going back to normal prices 😂
Yup same here. That crash will force the card company’s to drop the price as well when new boxes come out. Once the whales go find something else to throw money at industry can get back to stability, I give it another year and we can buy hobby boxes similar to before covid hit. 🍻

Dave definitely made great points. That makes total sense. For years the card market was down. Then it made this boom. Now its back on the big decline. Scary. I watch another you tuber who has a small 90k worth of cards. He has alot of Luka cards. They are dropping massively. Its funny thats the player that got brought up. The guy im mentioning has about 30 of the same card. Theyre i think 5k each when he bought em. Now theyre going for half that at 2300. Gross.
