David Oancea, better known as Vegas Dave, is the most renowned sports bettor of all time. Dave was able to do what 99% of the world could not do, and that's beat Las Vegas, but not just beat them, but beat them for millions and millions of dollars
Daves success led him to getting banned by all of the Las Vegas casinos, and when it could not get any worse, the casinos teamed up with the federal government to come after him. Dave was later indicted by the feds on 19 alleged felony accounts and faced up to 40 years in prison.
If you like sports, gambling, drama, motivation and inspiration, this movie is for you. This is definitely a one of one, there is nothing like this story.

Before watching the movie, I already had an idea of the kind of man that you are because of the things that you choose to speak about. You’re extremely family centric and this is a rare trait in the western world today. However, after watching the movie, I got a sneak peek into WHY you are the man you are today and that is because of those two angles who raised you.
We got to witness your parents stand by you every step of the way. Mom and dad did an amazing job at instilling proper values and principles into their boy. They don’t make them like those two anymore 🙏So, although my opinions of you did not experience significant changes because of how much I have followed you over the years, I was able to gain valuable insight into what made you into the man you are today. May god bless your parents ♥️

What I have learned from this movie is that even at your lowest lows, never give up. That when you feel like the world is against you have to embrace it and not give a F***. My favorite part was when you were praying to god saying “idc about the money, just let my mom live until the World Series and watch the royals win” it was so pure and that’s the side a lot of people don’t see in you. You’re an amazing guy and they don’t call you the GOAT for no reason!! 🐐

This truely is a great documentary about one man's unique experiences with LasVegas/hardcore gambling ....very watchable and highly recommended.

(Part 3/7) After watching the documentary, it all makes sense now. I learned the TRUE Vegas Dave. It always bothered me that when I booked my one way flight to Vegas that I left my FAMILY behind. The thing that I love about your story is that for the most part you spend as much QUALITY TIME with your family as humanly possible. The love that you have for you parents and the love that they have for you was clearly evident. It taught me not to be fooled by all the illusions of the cars, watches, girls and bottles. The most important things in life is the health and love of the ones closest to us.

Wow is all I can say. You are one GOOD ass man bro. This documentary was amazingly done, absolutely loved it. Eating dinner with your parents still was so amazing to see, you giving those kids in Mexico on the beach the love you gave them put a tear, truly amazing.
This so inspiring. Reminds me so much of myself and the love for my mom who I lost to Covid. I’m a trader and keep failing but this just gave me hope.

So I just watched this documentary/movie, right... and I couldn't understand why it was so well done. This will be one of my favorite 'gambling' movies - a rollercoaster ride of lust and life. Thumbs up!

I didn't like Dave until I saw his parents and friends talk about him. Then I knew he was more, a big heart that is taking his passion that was used as a weapon against him and flipped it. Hell yes brother!
favorite part by far was when you said your parents watched every Royals game with you. Your Mom knew all the players. You just wanted her to live to see the Royals win the World Series. Amazing stuff.

Man! Biggest take away from the movie is easily "If you don't bet yourself no else will". But great movie! It's crazy how you were way ahead of everyone knowing exactly your moves knowing you wanted out of the party life but you couldn't just toss it so fast! You literally leveraged that side of your life to put this inspiring movie together! Wow what a legend! So many good parts can’t name my favorite.. So I will just summarize! 1st has to be the genuine love you have for your parents, still living with them by choice and giving them the dream home you’ve always wanted to! Secondly, the fact that you was getting money at a young age, always hustling and getting to it! No wonder why your mom always believed in you and knew you was going to be successful! Lastly in the end your dads advice!!! Betting on yourself!! All the betting you have done and how successful you have been at it of course betting on yourself would pay off! Overall great movie, always a true inspiration and a fucking LEGEND! This movie is the cherry on top! 📈🔥🐐🤘🏽

Before the movie I already knew some things about Dave but not until after the movie did I learn how hard he worked and sacrificed to get where he is at today. Aloha!
Did not know much about you Dave, but I watched the movie to the end, and have a lot of respect and admiration for your chutzpah and hustle and love for your family. I'm not a sports better, but I live through you. Success brother.
Favorite part of the movie is seeing your relationship with your parents and how much they truly mean to you. Watching you tear up while reading those cards reminded me of my relationship with my parents. I to have put my parents through a lot of pain and suffering through decisions I made in my past. I'm a recovering drug addict, and just celebrated my 5th year of sobriety. I am currently the best I've ever been in my life mentally, spiritually, and physically. Much love to you and your family. God is good.

I'M PROUD TO SAY THAT I'M GLAD I USED 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE WATCHING THIS AND IT CHANGED ME IN AN INSTANT... Love this documentary! Really appreciate the inspiration. My mom had to go through multiple BYPASS Surgery and my father and sister had already passed away more than a decade ago. Dave, your love for your family really gut me here. BEAUTIFUL STORY. I could relate to everything except for being rich.
