    Brilliant video. Looking at getting a 2015 custom with 105k and getting the clutch done would be the first job for me. Definitely a garage job by the looks of it.
    Had clutch and dual flywheel done on 16 plate 4x4 kuga and that was £1400 . Think because of the 4x4 bit.
    Thanks for sharing

    I had my clutch done recently then 4 days later when driving the engine cut out and wouldn't start again.
    Do you think that there's something i.e sensor, switch in the clutch system or bad earth can cause cause van to crank but not start?

    • @MrAutoFixer
      @MrAutoFixer  Год назад

      Hey 👋 Yh there defo could be something in that job that could cause your fault, but best advice would be to get a code scan done to point you in the right direction, it could be something really simple and easy fingers crossed 🤞 let me know what you find 👍

    • @MrAutoFixer
      @MrAutoFixer  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hey 👋 I used a big pry bar to force it over but if it’s too far gone and you can’t then you may have to get the grinder out to cut out the centre so you can get to the bolts! Let me know how you get on 👍

      Hi Chris, depending on where you get them from that can vary quite a bit but for this job all the parts cost around £600 that’s the clutch kit the DMF and the bolts and oil, hope that helps 👍

    hello, I have a transit trend 2.2 from 2016, when leaving a place or when parking, there is a noise as if the engine mounts are broken, (bang) the same is heard when driving when I change gears,
    I want to mention that the modor supports were changed for the third time in a row, driveshaft they are new , new flywheel clutch, reconditioned gearbox , so everything is brand new, everything was changed for this reason, and that noise did not go away ,

    • @MrAutoFixer
      @MrAutoFixer  11 месяцев назад

      Sorry to hear you have spent so much money and not found your issue, firstly please find a new place for your future diagnosis inquiry’s ! And from What you describe and things you have replaced, I would say your fault is most likely suspension related, obviously impossible to tell without looking but that’s where I would be looking👍

  • @nannypaulinescfairytales

    My transit clutch is clunking when idling and the pedal feels like it is the brake pedal when the ABS comes on. I take it its the clutch? It goes away after a bit. how much can it last and will it do any more damage other than the clutch.

    • @MrAutoFixer
      @MrAutoFixer  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes sounds like you need a clutch and dual mass flywheel, it’s hard to say how long it will last as I’ve had some last a very long time and some just go pop and fail fast. Best off getting it done before it becomes un drivable 👍
