First Pass in Drag Radials / Pro Bracket Radials

- Let's go try to get ready for NPK small tire no prep racing by putting radials on the car and going RADIAL racing, lol. I know that doesn't really make sense when you say it, but that is exactly what we were doing. Wanting to make sure the car is mostly going straight when it is dead hooked up and not spinning so that when we get some wheel speed on a reasonable surface we don't have any issues. Lets see what happens. This is our test pass, check out the vid tomorrow for the race.

Congratulations Brantley. Man it almost dead hooked I've never seen it plant the tires like that those sidewalls really wrinkled. Looked like that was a lot of fun besides leaving some parts behind LOL. I think that car will handle all the power you throw at it with that suspension.

I think AFCO or Menscers have a short spring designed to stop that. It stays compressed till the shock tops out .

Taller, lighter spring or raise spring on shock and lower on mount if ride height is high.

Drill a hole in each side of the opening of the spring cup and put a zip tie across. On our dirt car it was made to do that.

It must be hard for your friends to hang around you. They ( randy/brian) have beautifully put together cars that keep breaking. Theres got to be a family home of money on randys mustang by now. But your fast pos mustang with spacer bearing small block. Worn out old 2nd hand powerglide ( no hate. I love it) just keep on keeping on. Its got to hurt. I feel for them🤣 (ps. By design, some pushrods are made to have different ends pressed in them, be it ball or cup style. Lifter end usually is always ball end, it's the rocker end that is different design sometimes.

Other than a driver's suit I'm sure John Doc has enough gently used belts and other safety equipment laying around since he swaps brands and belt sizes every month it seems like lol. I forsure feel like u should be wearing a Hans device being that u are mainly doing the no prep thing these days. Your constantly on sketchy surfaces, and u can definitely drive it down thru there better than most but u can never be too safe.
I have -20 pants, -20 gloves, -5 jacket and a HANS device. Gloves are the only thing I’m bad about leaving off. But I’m getting better. Needs -20 boots

Hate the naked, no front clip cars! The guys that had a reason to be running without front clips have started a trend with others now of only using it as a weight reduction and I don’t agree with that and wish they would come up with a rule against that
