I just made it and it turnt out delicious even though I made a mistake. I used a baking form with a diameter of 30cm (twice hers) and thus used double the ingredients. But maybe I should have payed more attention in geometry class cause little did I know that twice the diameter of a circle does not mean that the area is twice the size but four times larger. 😅 So my cake is very thin. Just to warn you so you do not make this mistake as well because I think 15cm is a rather small baking form so not everyone might have one of these at home. However it still turnt out great, just doesn't look as good. And because it turnt out so great I think if you'd really like to you could also use a baking sheet for this if you wanted to make it in larger quantities for a party or whatever.

If you make the cake in summer, maybe you can cool down slightly. But usually we don't melt the chocolate in high temperature, so it's ok. Once the chocolate removed from stove, its temperature will continue to drop, after added the sugar, the temperature will be lower. And add the egg will keep the temperature down. 😊

Like magic.^^ Actually, fudgy brownie and French classic chocolate cake have pretty obvious difference in taste. The fudgy brownies are slightly sweet but have layers of cocoa flavor. The classic French chocolate cake is very moist and tastes elegant. Both were delicious. 😊
Hello there, Do you mean adding sugar to the chocolate mixture to melt together? We're not sure, but maybe you can give it a try, it seems to be a good idea, since the raw sugar is large crystals and slow melt. 😊
My first attempt with airfryer didn't work out, as the butter kept floating up when baking, even though the batter when poured in was quite consistent. Maybe bcos I covered the mold with alum foil (for 10 mins)?
Hello Annika, first of all, you need to adjust the amount of each ingredients. As for the baking temperature, don't need to change, but might spend more minutes to bake it. As long as it rise and has some crack, the edges are turning golden brown, it's almost done. 😊
I tried making these today but they do not have a crispy edge the top cracks like a fudgy brownie and the interior is more moist and cake like instead of gooey. Please help me understand why. Was wondering was it too much egg mixture? The 2 eggs I used add up to around 100g.
Hello Audrey, It may be baked for too long to cause the top become too dry and crack.Once you get this thinly crust on top and can feel that the cake is firm on the side but still slightly jiggling in the middle, you can remove it from the oven. 😊

@@SweetDumpling 烤模的高度有超過5公分然後再溶解那個巧克力糊的時候看不到克力我就離開火源了,但加入第一顆雞蛋拌勻的時候就有很明顯的縮量,拌起來比較重比較硬
烤模太高,熱風吹拂不到,表面無法有很好的結皮,會變得有點凹凸隆起。剛溶解的巧克力糊要呈現流動狀,另外不要用冷藏取出的冰蛋即可。😊

你好,這款蛋糕的出爐標準就是表面要有裂紋,中間凹一些,如果太平滑,就有可能表示蛋糕表面還不夠酥。
如果是表面大開裂那種,則有可能是烤溫太高,我們有試過同樣烤溫但是加開旋風,烤的過程中澎的很大,裂紋的就很多,你也可以試試調降10度,增加時間來烤看看,或許會有讓你滿意的成品 😊
