I’m a physical therapist. When I got my Nuface I just bought Aquasonic gel that we use in PT for electrical stim and Ultrasound, to use as a conducive medium. It’s cheap and I’ve never had an issue with it on my face. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm an RN, I use the same because I always saw it used, and I have no issues with my skin either. I have a bottle of the trace minerals which I'll add to water to rehydrate the gel as someone mentioned. Probably not necessary but what the heck. Ha

Watch the last minute bonus feature of the video. You can use it. It’s not doing any harm but not doing any favors either. When I work in the skin I’m using every opportunity to really nourish it. Since Microcurrent and other modalities really push products into the skin, I like to make sure it’s a clean product that the skin loves. Just my opinion.

Hello! I used the "trace minerals drops", in a contact gel, carbomer based. One drop of minerals transformed 2 little spoons of gel in a watery solution. This is how i found that carbomer has a small resistence to ions. I still used that watery thing on my skin with the Nuface and worked well.
Was it wrong to use it that way?...

Just harder on the skin. You’d be better off just using a bit of sea salt in a water a gel moisturizer made with some nourishment for the skin.

You could put a thin layer on, let absorb a bit then apply a conductive gel on top if you wanted to. However the Triple C by itself would not be a good conductive gel.

Hi there! What is the ideal microamperes for professional micro current? I've read not to go above 500 but I can't find a definitive answer about what to set it to for face/neck. Thank you!!

    • @giaa3473

1 yr later, I'll answer fr my own experience. I own a professional micro current device that goes up to 600 microAmp. It's safe to go above 500 but one must work up towards the higher number. Like working out doing weights u build up slowly.
