it is really good to get familiar with all those gels, because I use Bear regularly, but sometimes I just can't seem to find it at the moment I need it, but I use serum serum serum and I love its texture and how my skin feels after using it. Thank you
Thanks so much for sharing this well needed video. Appreciate it! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I was JUST trying to find something that’s gentle and economical. So timely. Thank you!
Just what I needed, thank you. Sick of those expensive serums and some are tacky haha... I sure am gonna try some of these recommended ones...
Thank you for sharing!🥰
Thank you for sharing all of these options, I'm excited to try different conducting gels. About your comment on the spray bottle that doesn't spray evenly.....I had the same issue with the nuface optimizing mist so I put in in a continuous spray bottle I got on amazon and it works great!
great idea to get a continuous spray bottle!!!
Love the continuous spray bottles from Amazon! I put vitamin water then since they have minerals and use it to rehydrate when doing my microcurrent.
I have had the bear for six months and love it. The serums are expensive. Your video helped a lot. Love the face spray. Thank you for these ideas. I use skincutical (sp) vitamin C followed by their hydraulic serum. I need to find something to use my bear as I also love using the UFO daily in the morning. I rather spend $$ on my serum and prescription retin-A. I want to get an LED mask next month. Add it to my routine.
You will love the LED/Infrared mask!
New subscriber ❤ excited to learn from you
I use Li Mieux Gel...works damn well! And nice ingredients too... Works well if used with Thermal water spritzing ...
Thanks! I had the frustrating results with the Nuface's gel and finally gave up. A gel from #touchbeauty is my favorite so far.
My fav to use doing micro current on my clients. My God it works well and leaves the skin feeling baby bottom soft
Li mieux hyaluronic gel?
I have been using Biotherm Lufe Plankton Essence with my Foreo Bear. It works well but not sure if it’s a good activator though.
Thank you for all this info. I am glad you mentioned nuface has a new gel. I used the old one and washed it off after but I still had bad breakouts from it. I am looking forward to trying some new alternatives you mentioned.
you mean nuface, yes?
Yes Nuface. Spell check changed it for some reason.
@@jacquelinesheridan8114 autocorrect ugh! keep us posted on the gels you try!
Hi, any alternative eye serum for the nuface fix please?
Medicube age R booster gel is good and inexpensive.
It hydrates and moisturizes skin .
Love your videos!! I noticed in this video you mentioned the sola wave which I own. However ,you did a recent video on the Luce wand do you prefer one over the other? Thanks so much.
TK
i love them both!!!
Can I use a UV light mask within a few hours after I microcurrent?
I used hyaluronic serum with Nira laser it worked wonder to me
Hi... hoping you can answer a few questions...
1. Have you tried Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water for sensitive skin with your microcurrent devices?
2. What are your thoughts on the DermaWand Pro?
Thanks for your time!
Hi! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I don’t have experience with either of those products
The Biossance has oil in it so while it's A great serum, not for microcurrent due to the high oil content. It is great for derma rolling though if you do that😊
I have problem with the new nuface gel. I washed the gel off but still breaks out super mad. Looking for alternative ...
Can i use Hydrogena gel cream before microcurrent face lifting device?
I love Le Mieux calming gel, it’s the only one I use with my devices
I'll have to try it! Love that brand
@@beautybeyond40 it’s amazing with my Newa ❤️❤️
I use Le Mieux too and love it. I use it with all my devices.
Ya that's a great one!
Thx for clarifying, cuz I was about to buy their hyaluronic acid serum, which is more than twice the price
Hi Trina, Is there a difference between Microcurrent gels/serums and radio frequency gels/serums?
yes. ruclips.net/video/OJ90A8FRSRI/видео.html
I love serum serum serum but I want to try aloe. I use the Bear mini so there is no conductivity bar. I know you said the aloe burns your eyes but did you try it? Did your device show good conductivity? Thank you for the tips. Your videos helped me get a bit more familiar before I made my decision to purchase :))
Yes the aloe vera works! I just can’t use it (except to test it)
A bottle of plain vegetable glycerin works great and is cheap. Aloe can cool down the skin, which you don't want.
I have heard people use glycerin for radio frequency. I haven’t tried it with microcurrent. Have you tested it for conduction?
does plain vegtable glycerin conduct? I have the nuface so I can never tell if anything I am trying is conducting.
@@lisas7516 Yes I use glycerin and hyaluronic acid for my microcurrent. Just don't use anything oil based. Oil doesn't conduct electric current. I buy hyaluronic acid powder and make my own, so much cheaper. Just some water and a little glycerin and a teaspoon of the powder makes a big bottle, that you would pay about 25.00 for but this way costs you about 3.00.
@@beautybeyond40 Yes glycerin is a great electric current conductor. I mix it with hyaluronic acid for mc treatment.
@@michaelortt9514 i should try it!
Can I use Avene XeraCalm? It does contain mineral oil but I’ve never had conductivity issues with it. Also, if I’m using the conductive gloves, would I need to use a conductive gel?
You would have to test that product with a device that has a conductivity indicator. With the gloves - no you just use water.
Can you use any serum with the nuface? Will it conduct it? I feel I have to put a thick layer (therefore I use aloe vera) and wouldn't want to waste half of my serum bottle lol.
Hi. I addressed this question in the video. Please let me know if it's still not clear. Thanks for watching!
How about EMS and Galvanic and RF devices, are they need also gels or serum for using them?
Yes
Hi , do I wash my face with plain water or facial cleanser after using the nuface gel? Thank you
whatever you want. I normally use a wet washcloth with water to wipe mine off.
Has anyone found an alternative gel that works with TriPollar VX? I've tried some alternatives like Vichy 89 hyaluronic serum or aloe vera gel which didn't work with the device (didn't heat up the electrodes) and the included gel isn't ideal for me because I'm very sensitive to fragrance.
Le mieux calming gel is all I use with my devices
You can use the microcurrent gels for the TriPollar. The fragrance is so strong in the gel that comes with it, ugh. Also, try adding a little sea salt to your aloe vera gel.
Since glycerin is the primary ingredient in the Tripolar brand, I bought a 4 ounce bottle of Now vegetable glycerin from Amazon for $6. I do not notice any difference in how the two gels work.
Have you tried Pure Aloe Vera Gel and tested with your Myolift? Thanks
Nope
What do you think about Vichy 89 Mineral Fortifying and Plumping Daily Booster? Could it be a good conductivity gel due to its content of 89% water that has 15 types of minerals in composition?...
It has also Hyaluronic acid.
I haven't tried it, so I can't say. But you could try it with a Myolift device to see if it conducts the microcurrent. Sounds promising
Hi could you tell me which Neutrogena product you mentioned? They have a few different hydro gel ones. Thanks so much!!!
i am not sure. i mentioned that i heard about it and was hoping someone would comment since i don't have it.
@@beautybeyond40 ok thank you for letting me know!
@@beautybeyond40 I've been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Fragrance-free Hydrating Body Gel Cream with my Nuface device. I saw that Angie Hot and Flashy was using it early on in her Nuface journey, ( ruclips.net/video/-4iy66rWknQ/видео.html )so I started using it instead of the Nuface Primer which I found too expensive and tacky. I purchase it at Harmon Face Values with a $5 coupon and you just can't beat the price. You have to spend $25 to use the $5.00 coupon. So, essentially you are getting 3 x 16 oz bottles for approximately $8.33 before tax. I prefer it to aloe vera gel because as stated in your excellent video, 1. aloe makes my eyes water. 2. I don't have to wash off the Neutrogena because its ingredients are good for the skin and it really does feel good. 3. I wash my face first, don't wipe it dry, apply the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Fragrance-free Hydrating Body Gel Cream to my wet face, (Hyaluronic Acid binds to water molecules so if you put it on wet skin it plumps the face, but if you put it on dry skin it pulls moisture out) 4. I can feel the microcurrent when I use this gel, but it doesn't hurt at all. 5. After I finish with the microcurrent treatment, I rub the remaining Neutrogena Hydro Boost Fragrance-free Hydrating Body Gel Cream into my face, neck, and decolletage, letting it settle for about 5-10 minutes, and then apply my skincare/ makeup over it. I can't speak to using it with the RF treatments. I wouldn't recommend it because of the heat. I hope all the above helps.
@@lorettoleary7735 thank you! Great info
@@beautybeyond40 You are very welcome.
Could you let me know of The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA would be a good conducting serum? It's a water-based serum, but not sure if it would be a good conductor.
Not sure. You would need to test it with a Myolift device to see if you get conduction
@@beautybeyond40 Thanks!!
@nancycarlson9443
Did you find The Ordinary, to be a good conductor? We’re able to test it?
Would Aquasonic Ultrasound gel work with the Microcurrent devices?
I don’t know since I wouldn’t put ultrasound gel on my face
Hi i know this video is a year old but the face mists, is that like a hydrating toner? And can you use the same gels with radio frequency as well
No - they are not toners. They are facial sprays that do different things (hydrate, improve conductivity, etc) but they are used to keep the gel wet so it conducts better. I have a separate video about RF gels as they are different from microcurrent since it's a heat-based modality that requires different type of gel.
I was told that the conductive gels used for RF are different than those for microcurrent, apparently gels for RF are designed to conduct heat and is a different technology and Microcurrent gels require electrolytes. . What do you know about that? 😊.
Correct. I have a separate video for radio frequency gels: ruclips.net/video/OJ90A8FRSRI/видео.htmlsi=wa1Ab9m5o5al1Mw2
my skin gets irritated from Nuface gel too
Hi!!! Have you increased intensity with myolift since you have been using it for awhile? Thanks
I've been using it for a long time, so I use it at 400 microamps everywhere except for 300 educate under the eyes.
@@beautybeyond40 thank you🤗
Is it normal to get shock once in a while? I get shocked on my first use at level one. I put the serumserum from foreo but its still wet when i used it.
maybe...I don't get shocked but everyone is different.
Can you use one gel for both Microcurrent and radio frequency?
I am not sure. The gels are very different, so I use the ones that come with each modality.
i would like to know this as well? I use the same
No, you need a gel/ serum lotion with conductive properties for Microcurrent devices.
How about the ultrasound gel? I guess it should serve the same purpose...
not sure. i have never tried it.
I’m going through the comments and noticed yours mentioning ultrasound gel. I’ve been using that for both my microcurrent and radio frequency and it works very well. But I have redness on certain parts of my face that I’ve had before using the ultrasound gel and looking into trying something more gentle to see if the one I’m currently using is keeping the redness there.
Can I get conduction with snail mucin?
Not sure
Can I use silkn slider hyaluronic gel?
Not sure as I haven't tried that one
Yes but it’s out of stock and I can’t find it anymore 😞
Do you need a gel? Mine came without 😮
Please some one how fo upu use this machine..please do a tutorial for us !!!
A microcurrent device? I have many tutorials on my channel
