Great Video! I live in Australia now but starting in 1981 I followed Leyton Wingate at the Hare and Hounds for about 10 years.. in fact my first game was a 0-0 draw in 1981 with Redhill your local team. Great memories - went to Swansea in 1985 with my old grandad to see the Blues in the FA Cup first round for the only time they made it that far - got beat 2-0.. great club, played for the youth team from 1983 to 1988. I went back to London last year (20 years since my last visit) and tried to get in to the ground but was all locked up sadly.. thanks for the video
I really enjoyed reading through that, so thank you!! It’s such a shame to see it how it is now, but great to hear your fond memories! Hope life is all good down under! ❤️
It’s basically a car park now so it’s not in the best of states and would need a LOT of renovations to be used for anything. Based on that I’d say for now at least it’s just a dumping ground and useless for any form of sports without significant investment
This video was good….

“Support your Local team.”
True.😮
Why have you got a pic of Aberdeen fc’s pittodrie stadium @ 1:12?
Arsenal Women/Ladies played at this ground in the early 1990s too, back when they were moving around before they finally settled at Boreham Wood FC
Fantastic insight!! Thanks for this - really interesting!! ❤️
Is the ground totally useless for a football/rugby ground?
