    Look at MJ’s reaction to Laimbeer’s shove, he laughs! What happened to the NBA? MJ was a man on that court! After all the physical pounding he took from the bad boys, he went to the gym and hit those weights and it made him stronger and he was able to overcome the onslaught of the Bad Boys! What a competitor MJ was!

      Life span of an NBA player in those days were a lot shorter than today. The rules have changed so players can play longer today than back then. We tend to forget that even at 30, that’s was considered old and those guys sacrificed their body a lot. Let’s not forget that.

    In modern NBA the player (e.g., James Harden) would have fallen, flopped and lay down for few minutes writhing in pain. And the announcers would replay it 50 times and talk about. In this clip, Jordan just shook his head and although they showed the replay, the announcers didn't even mention it.

    The description say's game 3. This can't be game 3 when you see them playing in Detroit. It's either games 1 or 2 at the Palace Of Auburn Hills. I remember watching the Bulls steal game 1 from Pistons in 1989.

    Jordan unintentionally stepped in front of Laimbeer who was running back on D. Laimbeer bumps him and slightly pushes him. If the refs saw it, they would have tee'd him up. But quite frankly it was no harm no foul.
