Heads up, the half shafts (axles) are designed as a drivetrain fuse. They will fatigue after multiple high load power-on landings. Make sure to let up on the throttle when landing to extend their life. Have fun!
No doubt. I didn’t land in power. My friend that was out with me did a couple times in the Pro R. Definitely not ideal. I don’t think he meant to either.
Actually CVT is much more robust, most of the inertia is stored within the transmission input shaft and shift dogs. Next majority of rotational inertia is within the sheave of the secondary clutch. Secondary to primary is “isolated” via the belt. Clatter heard on jumps is usually the backlash between the shift dogs, the transmissions are built to handle that. But good to know you guys are aware of the landings. Sometimes it’s hard to not let up!
You guys hoon your rzrs properly. I have a premium turbo 4 on order and was wondering how loud it is inside? I’m coming from a Teryx and it’s extremely loud under throttle. Was hoping the rzr is tolerable without ear protection. Cheers!
I wouldn’t say the Turbo R is a quiet machine by any means. It’s tolerable without hearing protection for me personally but could be quieter. With a helmet or hearing protection it is definitely much more mellow.
Nice Machine!! You feel limited at all on the trails with the wheelbase of the a 4 seater? I’m the the turn radius isn’t as tight as a 2 seat but looks nimble enough. Thanks
Thanks! For the most part the wheelbase doesn’t feel very limiting. It definitely has pros and cons. The longer car will feel more confident on vertical climbs, high speed and even jumping. It’s surprisingly nimble for the size. I personally had to draw the line here though passing on the Pro R with its 8” longer wheelbase and the X3’s 10” longer wheel base. I’m sure there’s some tight trails where it will be less ideal. Really though, it’s going to do well wherever 72”+ wide 2 seaters ride. Only ever feels big when turning around.
I heard Gibson on a Turbo S recently. Pretty nice sound. I’m kind of torn. I actually kind of like the stock muffler. Considering keeping stock muffler with E cutout for when I want to be loud and hear the turbo.
I drove my friends Pro R Ultimate he just picked up and the Dynamix is nice. It’s easy to say what’s another $3k but that can be mod money. I drove my machine back to back with his recently and honestly I’m not as worried about it anymore. The walker is still really good. Dynamix adds more comfort to the mix and that’s the most noticeable part about it. I also felt like dynamix removed some “feel” from the machine. It’s obviously the better overall suspension but I don’t have regrets. If your budget is unlimited you don’t have to consider these things. I already bought more machine than I originally planned so I’m content. I look forward to driving his in more conditions and seeing if my feelings change.
Honestly, I’m glad I got the premium over the sport I originally tried to find though. They do put you in the position to climb the price ladder unfortunately lol
I just can't get into these things. They're big go carts or golf carts . Not tryin be mean. With my sport quads it takes skills to ride, jump etc that's the thrill. UTVs you get in an steer /give it gas. Anyone can drive one. I just don't get it. I think it's a fad.
I can appreciate different opinions. I loved my 2008 KFX450. I lived on that thing years back. These SXS’s are really a lot of fun. The power and flying capabilities are quite great. Though they may seem more approachable I wouldn’t say that it doesn’t take skill to drive, especially when you’re at the limit. Some labeled these a fad 10 years ago and they’ve only become more popular and continue to evolve. There’s so many amazing ways to enjoy the off-road. This is just one of them.

Thanks dude!
It's quieter & more refined than the Kawasaki for sure!
Great video! That machine is just sick...... LOVE it!

i love my turbo r4. best rzr i've had yet.
You should try the Gibson dual stainless exhaust on it love to hear the sound of it

@@JsGarage you should try it just for content just to try a different sound I don’t think I ever seen a Gibson exhaust on a turbo r.
The gearing seems nice. Looks like it scoots.
It moves quite well no complaints on power and gearing so far.
perfect gearing for my 35's
@@RB-wu1xj Can’t wait to get 35s on it! Especially after some recent experiences with the stock tire.
Do wish you bought the ultimate with the better suspension

this does a lot more than any ATV can, and when you are done you aren't beat up. Neither is the family you got to bring with you.
