We test the Volcon Grunt EVO's power, handling, and battery range on a trail that frequently claims body damage and roll-overs. With its 12-inch fat tires, dual 60V battery option, and a peak power output of 12KW, this electric motorcycle is built for rugged off-road terrain. But can it take on one of the toughest trails in the northern Front Range?
In this video, we give you the specs, ride experience, and even some surprises, including running out of power mid-trail and having to upgrade to the dual battery setup.
Don't forget to COMMENT below on why you deserve to win your very own Volcon Grunt EVO-we’re giving one away to the best comment! 🚀

As a member of the only Search and Rescue "Moto Team" in the state of Colorado (100% volunteer/non-profit), the Volcon Grunt EVO Electric Motorcycle would be put to use in the CO Backcountry for SAR Missions. We utilize an array of different quads and dirtbikes to truly embody the phrase "the first in, last out". Our unique combination of communication, medical and backcountry/offroad skills, and equipment allow our team to quickly cover rugged terrain to locate and stabilize patients when minutes truly count. If I am selected to receive the Volcon Grunt EVO, it would be put to use helping those who enjoy the outdoors and are in need!

I am 27 years old. I have been riding dirt bikes since the 2nd grade when my Uncle gifted me a Honda z50 for my first communion. At 6foot 3 and 210 lbs I still ride around on that thing. That bike started my obsession with motorcycles of all kinds and I have been looking to get an electric bike for some time now and this bike rocks. The dual battery is also a cool concept. In a way the fat tires kind of remind me of my old z50. Love the channel, been watching you for years.

The Volcon Grunt EVO looks like it would be amazing to have. I am a disabled veteran, and I have been trying to find something that would allow for me to go with my wife as she runs on the desert and mountain trails near our home. I have been looking, for quite some time for the right electric vehicle to accomplish this... and to extend my reach outdoors. This would change my life!

Bro if you buy an electric bike find the throttle connector and check if it is secure. Just don't plug or unplug the connector while the bike is on. It may take off on you like a wild horse. Just my experience with riding electric bikes. I f you buy one you will love it. Also, as you are a Veteran. I think you may appreciate that the U.S. military, and other militaries are using electric bikes as scout bikes. Ride on man. =)

I like to get out into back country areas for fishing & hunting, but am now unable to without wheeled assistance. I like that it's relatively quiet & won't spook game too easily. Wow, what an epic review of the Volcan Grunt Evo! I've been eyeing this bike for a while now, and your test ride has convinced me that it's the perfect companion for my off-grid adventures. I'm impressed by its capabilities on challenging trails like Kelly Flats, and I love how it shines on mellow OHV roads. The dual battery upgrade is a game-changer, and I can see myself exploring remote areas with confidence. I'd use this bike to explore the rugged terrain of the Pacific Northwest, where I live, and share my experiences with the community. Your channel has inspired me to push my limits, and I'd be stoked to win this bike and take my adventures to the next level! Thanks for the opportunity, and I look forward to seeing who wins! I live here in the mountains of Colorado and I've been a mountain man for a long time. And doing mountain man things like building my own cabin at ninety-five hundred feet... On the north facing side of the mountain in the dark timber ... I also spend part of my time in the high desert here in Colorado. The long way from what most people would call civilization... The Volcon Grunt EVO would be the perfect vehicle for me .. And my friends would love to see it inaction!! Thanks to the company for producing such a wonderful vehicle and to you for sharing it with us...
And just so you know I also give back to my community. In many ways, including supporting our local veterans.. And this vehicle would be very handy...
So that I can deliver food to a few of them that live off the grid. Thank you

I would spend time w kids on smaller trips without costing really anything, fun trail bike. Looks like a fun bike. Should carry a small tow strap. 11 miles is still plenty range close to home, 28 mile range is nice tho. Glad you stopped the hard Enduro shoot 😂. Ty from whoever wins. Forget Mad Max this bike belongs in my own Mediterranean adventure! I’ve been drooling over those fat tires and the futuristic design ever since I saw the Volcon Grunt Evo conquer Heart Attack Hill. Living near the rugged coastlines and mountainous trails of Southern Europe, this beast would be my ultimate companion to explore the stunning, yet challenging, terrain with style. As someone who’s always up for an off-road challenge and loves pushing the limits of electric vehicles, the Grunt Evo would be my dream come true. Plus, I promise not to run out of battery in the middle of a sun-soaked trail… well, at least not on purpose. Who needs gas when you have determination and a Mediterranean breeze? This bike wasn’t just built for rough terrain it was built for someone like me, who’s ready to take on any challenge with a grin and a grunt! Thanks for the awesome content and for giving us all a chance to win this incredible machine!

OMG. This is just what I'm looking for. My wife has ridden and scoter and loved it. But after giving a small motorcycle out on a big parking lot A few times. It was clear that it would take a long time before she would be comfortable enough to ride something with real power. So this EV fat bike is perfect. We already have a pair of fat bikes so the switch will be seamless. And as a bonus I won't have to maintain two more gas powered engines. Oregon cost here we come.

I thought it would be lighter, but the weight is not a deal breaker for me.
I'm still thinking of getting one if they go on sale.
Its perfect for what I like to do, minimalist camping trips using old forest service roads around the Cascades..
Many of these roads will take you to Amazing Mountain Views and Crystal Clear lakes if you know the right turns to make.. and the less noise you make means the less wildlife you'll disturb as well!
I don't ride as Wild as in this Video anymore, but its nice to know its capable of it.
If I can find a solar panel to charge it, I'll live outta that thang!

I have been using gasoline minibikes up to now but whenever I want to go on an adventure with my kids something is broken or needs tuning up. Brand new to your YT channel, like I’m new to retirement (letgo @ 60), but looking forward to electrifying my life. Wanted to say THNX for your channel AND webpage: Lots of info and great news articles for comparing UBCO, Volcon Grunt, and similar Utility/Cargo Ebikes (UCE’s)! I started to investigate UCE’s to help me on my small acreage in North Idaho, since I’m still trying to dig out my old ICE ATV (i.e., Smooshed under my collapsed pole barn; Ask for pics [hee hee]) 🤪Moreover, and after I watched “Zero DSR Adventure Ride”…which you & SourceADV should expand footage akin to McGregor/Boorman…I’m even contemplating on applying for motorcycle license/test after 40 year pause (UCE should be helpful on that front too) - Praise/Gratitude to ECR for the info & inspiration(s)!! 🙏

I also have a passion for gold metal detecting and i need a ride to do that. There are plenty of smooth bypass roads I can use. I need another metal detector. This bike looks like a tank! If I won, I would give this bad boy the love he deserves by going on some epic adventures. First, we’d ride to the grocery store to pick up a single banana 🍌. Then, we’d climb up mount Timpanogas (here in UT), just to get a higher vantage point to show off this beast.
But that’s just the beginning. I’d take it on the ultimate journey: a quest to find the holy grail! (“We’ve already got one!”) We’d ride through mud, gravel, and maybe even a few backyards (apologies to my neighbors in advance). We’d face rainstorms, potholes, and the judgmental stares of people who don’t understand the bond me and this bike.
By the end of it all, this bike would be a local legend. We’d name it ’MOTO-MOTO,’ cuz “I like em big, I like em chunky” - and it would become the stuff of tales parents tell their children to inspire greatness. So, yes, this bike deserves all the love, and I’m ready to give it every wild adventure it can handle!
