Top 5 best channels on YT. The exhaust, front driving profile, lean angle when cornering just make this the baddest thing on two wheels in the US. Wow it looks so fun to ride!!!
Rolling a grind hard machine is just an initiation ritual at this point. If you don't crash something, you're out. The "only 19 left on the road now" really got him. I would have felt the same way.
@@orangeracecar996 I mean, the silver lining about there only being 19 on the road are there are literal HUNDREDS in junkyards. So ya know, the parts aren't the issue.
I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong and I'm totally wrong when I posted awhile back that there was no way I thought that motor could turn that wheel with that small of a rear sprocket. That thing is amazing. Could easily be the winner of the most unique vehicle of 2024. Well done Grind Hard Plumbing! You guys rock. Glad you guys had a good time.
that is what you get for not understanding basic physics. You made up something and had to be proven wrong. Not like this is the first time somebody has done this, either.
the monster chopper is exactly what I would want to do if I ever made a bike. the rust, the absurdity, and the realization of the word fun. the artistic twist that got put into the rear axle spoke to the blacksmith part of me lol
The bounce of the bike a high speed is probably due to the wheels not being perfectly rounded since they removed part of the rubber. But I noticed that at the end of the video only the front tire was bouncing, meaning that the burnouts that they did with the rear tired rounded it, swapping the wheels and then doing a burnout to even it out will probably fix it for good
@@waynerohde1036 Burn out the other tyre and then get them balanced properly. Should make 90 then as long as the axle is up to it. You can also gear for speed if you want to. A wonderful beast.
You know I usually think these kinds of comments are weird but this video really cheered me up. My grandmother died today and while we knew it'd be coming soon it still doesn't change the fact. I'd been feeling really bummed and just out of it today but this video showcases all of what life is about in a beautiful dumb amalgam of humanity. Crunching together a completely impractical motorcycle with 40in tires just to do it, getting together with some friends and just having a good time. Reminds me of what to look forward to and what really matters in life. Cheers everyone
I absolutely love how each point of failure on these builds are the small hurdles making the best platform for your creations. Seeing you fix them and better them is why this channel is so great.
I love Edwin's editing! He is so passionate about it and I think that is something that really levels up their channel compared to other automotive content creators.
@GrindHardPlumbingCo That was only 5 years ago, and you guys have grown exponentially. I'm sure Jay Lenos jaw would drop seeing the absolute machines you guys have built, and how far you've come since then. I'm loving every minute of it. Godspeed my brothers.
Awesome! Idea for getting air around tire to intake. Maybe some type of scoop connected above the lights on the side of the front wheel and connect to air intake with dryer duct tube, maybe 🤔😝
I was thinking the same. It would be interesting first to see how concentric the OD of the tire is with the axle. That's a lot of tire and even if it is out a 1/4" it would be a significant amount of weight. True it up and then dump the beads in. If he brings the tire into balance as close as possible first it will only make it easier for the beads to work well and he would need less of them which should make it more stable over bumps.
I think the burnout also helped smooth the tires themselves. Swap the front and rear and do it again. I bet it could hit 100 without the bounce (in some undisclosed location in Mexico, of course)...
@@MagentaRV If it topped out at 70 on level ground, it will never make it to 100. Not even downhill. It runs out of gearing before it runs out of power.
