IT's always nice and respectfull when campers take their trash with to recycle properly. Dude i can't count how many times i ran into an camp site with all the trash left there,it literally blows my mind. Well done Osta fam!
I didn't realize how big it is in one of those. All you need is a stove for a winter expedition to the north pole . To the ends of the earth! Your a very lucky guy awesome.
Hey Mr.Osta, get your hands on a Parabolic mirror, you can literally light anything just by shining a flashlight at it if the sun isn’t available. Handy item to keep in Sherp first aid kit too.
I’ve got a video of us out in the sherp me and my boy camping over in Scotland when we had a lot of snow was amazing ! Yes it’s a great overland vehicle
Hey David, if your ever wanting your pro heat to run for as long as you want and not worry about the timer, we bypassed the timer in the programmer and run a 2 way toggle switch separately and then just run the power feed to that so it kills the display on the proheat programmer itself and then it’s just a simple on or off with the toggle, and won’t kill your battery if you forget timer, if we park outside over night with the semis it’s just turn it on right when you shut truck off and will keep the semis at 120 all night, then it’s not having to work twice as hard when timer kicks it in, and saves the life of the heater too!
I love your Videos, but please for the love of me Make a shop tour where you go over all the machines and say what addons you have added, all the models, Keep up the amazing work
If you use the end of the ferro rod to pin down your pile of tinder and then scrape the sparks down onto the tinder you'll have a much easier time getting a fire going.
put those stones from your fire pit in a metal basket and slide the basket in the cubby hole under your mattress. It will keep you warm through the night. the Ov- glove works great for grabbing the fire stones to put in a basket.
We had a wild melt here in Ontario as well. Easter weekend I went sledding for 3 straight days and then the next weekend it hit 27! Was pretty wild collecting maple sap in shorts, t-shirt and winter boots in 2’ of snow that was still left!
Dried cedar bark shavings is a good natural fire starter material. Vaseline laced cotton balls are also a good fire starter material. Both are easily found and light to carry.
If you pull the ferro rod away from you rather than push forward with the striker you don’t push air towards it while trying to light it giving it a better chance to catch.
@@ostacruiser Watch out for the part of the blade that is not protected when the saw is folded. I blindly grabbed it one time and my finger went into the hole there and sliced me lol
Cotton balls make really good fire starter, tinder for flint and steel or any of the fire sticks. Light a fire with one stroke instead of many. Just keep the cotton dry.
Love watching ur videos man what an adventure you guys get to have together great vids to watch an also educational for folks that aren’t to well educated on how to survive thanks for the content keep it coming brother
Great video. Like was mentioned before, try cotton balls with petroleum jelly on it. You would have to experiment with the amount of jelly but it is a great fire starter. Again Great video.
That thing is awesome ! You could put the solar panels towards the front and then mount a roof rack towards the rear. Like the size you put on a wrangler. You could put a couple of kayak mounts on top too ! OMG I want one now 😂 . Just subscribed you guys are amazing !
Hi Mate, Nice Video! Not sure if it would work in the sherp, but Dometic make a kitchen slide out. Doesn’t have a fridge slide but is good for a sink and cooking. Check out some Australian touring rigs for different ideas.. we love a good canopy set up!!
Well that looked like a ton of fun! I've never been up at that lake because it looks like all swamp up there on Google Earth. Did you find enough good ATV trails to make it worth a trip in there for our smaller machines? 3:52 - that was so disturbing I wanted to pluck my eyes out, but then realized it would be the last image I'd ever see, so I decided to watch the rest of the video - LOL Thanx for taking us along!
Another awesome video! I absolutely love your channel. Always good editing and quality videos and you 2 always seem so down to earth and happy go lucky! Keep up the great content!
Snag an Ecoflow Delta Pro 2, a couple 400 watt solar on top and you could boondock for days and days....and feel free to bring coffee maker, laptop, whatever you need. I will be running one of those, plus extra battery and solar on our Nash 24m OTG. Gonna be great not hearing a generator unless absolutely necessary. Costco sells the Ecoflow Delta Pro with 400 panel in the states only $3199, a thousand less than anywhere, extra $300 off ends the 24th
This is such a beautiful area. And great video, as always! You two are awesome. Great video work on the scale Sherp, too! P.S. Fudgin’ LOVE Project Farm! I own a Rona’ saw because of that video. 😅
Would be a good idea the charge the backup battery every other week to once a month. The reason a car battery last so long is because it gets regular charging.
One problem with ultimate Overlander's like this is if they break and you are somewhere no other vehicles can reach, you not only have no way to get out without emergency help but you have to come back to do the repair onsite because there is no way to tow the vehicle out.
Yup repair or bring in another Sherp. They make them easy to work on with simple hand tools. We haven't been stranded since we started driving our Sherps in 2017
Pretty sweet, awesome camping machine, but 2 xs is 2 many for flashing, lol and never torque again please 🤣,and I also think project farm is a true trusted name on RUclips, I don't buy much without taking his advice 😉👍👍👍
Good video you guys. I run an espar heater in my 5 ton. It’s great when it’s -35-40 here in Alberta my truck fires up like a summer day and other ppl around me have multiple vehicles boosting them. Guy’s coming upto me saying how the hell did your truck start
IT's always nice and respectfull when campers take their trash with to recycle properly.
Dude i can't count how many times i ran into an camp site with all the trash left there,it literally blows my mind.
Well done Osta fam!
I agree 100%
Such a cool video. Hope to see some more overlanding expeditions. Got to love northern Saskatchewan. Thanks guys!
Can't wait to go much further into the bush
They definitely “broke in” the Sherp that night 😂
😅😅😅😅
Top comment 😆 😂
That was the main reason he had to make sure it was level lol
Not a Sherp mate.
I didn't realize how big it is in one of those. All you need is a stove for a winter expedition to the north pole . To the ends of the earth! Your a very lucky guy awesome.
Agreed. All sorts of room. Thanks
Excellent adventure. Thanks for taking me along.
I think I fell in love with the baby Centaur. The bed arrangement you guys came up with and the adventure across the ice were both superb.
Hey Mr.Osta, get your hands on a Parabolic mirror, you can literally light anything just by shining a flashlight at it if the sun isn’t available. Handy item to keep in Sherp first aid kit too.

Thanks for the tip! I can't believe how well they work and how little fuel they use
Y’all are living the dream, what an amazing camping adventure! Loved the remote control 😂
I would love to see the centaur properly kitted out as a camper. Such a cool vehicle!
Awesome you and the wife can enjoy the outdoors alone ! Great times
First time seeing your videos. Will make it a habit ..respect and all the best from grande prairie Alberta
You should do a drawing for a viewer camping trip. I can only dream of what you all do. Amazing. Love the outdoors.
Looks like the Argo did not struggle in the swamp at all cool 🙂
More camping videos like this please. I like the idea of the Sherp as a go anywhere camper
I love your Videos, but please for the love of me Make a shop tour where you go over all the machines and say what addons you have added, all the models, Keep up the amazing work
Okay 😅😅. Thank you
That Corona Saw is the best saw I've ever used. I never ride without one.
of all the innumerable sherp videos out there this is the first one I've come across with it being used to camp in nice job gang
Thanks dude. It worked out so well. We are already planning the next adventure
What an awesome little adventure, & an even more sweet lil camping spot!
If you use the end of the ferro rod to pin down your pile of tinder and then scrape the sparks down onto the tinder you'll have a much easier time getting a fire going.
Okay thanks for the tip
I’m sure ppl have commented already but you should keep the ferrite rode on the kindling so you concentrate all the energy “sparks” in one place
Awesome!! Glad you guys are enjoying life to the fullest 😊
Great timing on weather... And no BUGS!!!
One of the best perks to very early camping 😅😅
put those stones from your fire pit in a metal basket and slide the basket in the cubby hole under your mattress. It will keep you warm through the night. the Ov- glove works great for grabbing the fire stones to put in a basket.

Wow, that's nuts. Crazy temp swings for sure
Dried cedar bark shavings is a good natural fire starter material.
Vaseline laced cotton balls are also a good fire starter material.
Both are easily found and light to carry.
Not many cedar trees in the Saskatchewan bush. Birch bark and lichen is plentiful. They just need practice with rods.
If you pull the ferro rod away from you rather than push forward with the striker you don’t push air towards it while trying to light it giving it a better chance to catch.
That corona saw is so good. I bought it just to buy a hand saw a couple years ago and it blew my mind
Like a freakin laser for wood haha
@@ostacruiser Watch out for the part of the blade that is not protected when the saw is folded. I blindly grabbed it one time and my finger went into the hole there and sliced me lol
The little remote sherp was pretty cool I liked that love the videos
This mans....got a machine for every season! Fucking jelly of ostacruiser!
Those shrips really can go anywhere even the rc ones so cool
Cotton balls make really good fire starter, tinder for flint and steel or any of the fire sticks. Light a fire with one stroke instead of many. Just keep the cotton dry.
Great video thanks for sharing got some weird weather down in southern Ontario as well was hailing yesterday now it's warm again
Awesome video! BTW, we have a foldable aluminum bed frame option that's removable and looks just like the piece of plywood you had on top! ;)
Awesome. Probably much better engineered then our cobbled stuff😅
@@ostacruiser Ha, same concept, same result! Loved the bush crafting and reviews!
Those things are awesome, fingers crossed I win the lotto, im buying at least 3, one for me one for the local rescue and one for a spare.
Love watching ur videos man what an adventure you guys get to have together great vids to watch an also educational for folks that aren’t to well educated on how to survive thanks for the content keep it coming brother
Thanks brother!! Glad you liked it
😲 bushcraft and overland survival with Osta! 🤙🏼 I love it 🤠
We can't wait for the next trip!!!
This is a wicked overland camping video!!!! Keep em coming 👍
Please don’t ever stop making content!
I hope we're still rippin when we're 80😅😅
Next time you're making that fire, make a bird nest out of dry twigs and grass and get that spark in there. 🔥
Looked like an awesome adventure!
Great video. Like was mentioned before, try cotton balls with petroleum jelly on it. You would have to experiment with the amount of jelly but it is a great fire starter. Again Great video.
Thanks! We'll give it a shot! Thanks for the tip and glad you enjoyed the video
Great footage of the RC you were having too much fun what a cool trip
Mini-Osta’ Centaur was fun to watch!!!
It's so fun to drive as well
Good to see you having fun..
Someone out there must be able to 3d print a little osta action figure to drive mini sherp 😂 sweet
Haha that would be awesome
Need a Mrs Osta as well 😅😅
And river the swamp dog 🤷♂️👌
What a great set up for camping
You could also put a few solar panels on the roof and have a source of power.
I love this channel, it’s one of my favorites!
Thanks!!!
Awesome video, love that mini sherp as well!
DUDE WTF WAS THAT AIR HUMP ?? Hahaha to funny cracked me right up!!😂😂

So epic. You live in such an amazing place.
Love your videos! Thanks for the product reviews
WAY COOL ! That looks like fun.
Thanks brother!!

Looks like an awesome time camping
Was such a good time!
Coolest camper ever.
The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.
awesome vid! what sweet little spot!
Sweet RC!
Look like a lot of fun next time set up on west side so you can enjoy sunrise
That was a fun video, I liked the use of the fire starter. Should have tried to catch a fish thru the ice
Definitely doing that next time
Well that looked like a ton of fun! I've never been up at that lake because it looks like all swamp up there on Google Earth. Did you find enough good ATV trails to make it worth a trip in there for our smaller machines?

Yes there are a ton of trails in the area. Definitely worth it for a day trip. And sorry hahahahaha

Once you get your setup figured out, you'll be hooked on camping, mudding is fun, but without a destination its not as fun

Heck ya!!
Seemed like a wicked camping trip. But you trying to twerk is something else 😆
Hahaha sorry
@ostacruiser Oh no I got a few pointers 😁
I’ll be nervous as hell driving that heavy machine on that frozen lake
It's the only machine in the world that can break through the ice and climb back out
Would be a good idea the charge the backup battery every other week to once a month. The reason a car battery last so long is because it gets regular charging.
