Hey Mr.Osta, get your hands on a Parabolic mirror, you can literally light anything just by shining a flashlight at it if the sun isn’t available. Handy item to keep in Sherp first aid kit too.

Hey David, if your ever wanting your pro heat to run for as long as you want and not worry about the timer, we bypassed the timer in the programmer and run a 2 way toggle switch separately and then just run the power feed to that so it kills the display on the proheat programmer itself and then it’s just a simple on or off with the toggle, and won’t kill your battery if you forget timer, if we park outside over night with the semis it’s just turn it on right when you shut truck off and will keep the semis at 120 all night, then it’s not having to work twice as hard when timer kicks it in, and saves the life of the heater too!

Dried cedar bark shavings is a good natural fire starter material.
Vaseline laced cotton balls are also a good fire starter material.
Both are easily found and light to carry.

If you pull the ferro rod away from you rather than push forward with the striker you don’t push air towards it while trying to light it giving it a better chance to catch.

I will be running one of those, plus extra battery and solar on our Nash 24m OTG. Gonna be great not hearing a generator unless absolutely necessary. Costco sells the Ecoflow Delta Pro with 400 panel in the states only $3199, a thousand less than anywhere, extra $300 off ends the 24th
