I never saw this as a theme for the monsters we fight in the guiding lands, but as a theme for us, the hunters who have strived through hardship and strife, and reached a height of monster hunting mastery to take on the most fearome of monsters and locale only those who have the clearance necessary to take on such tasks. It makes you feel so powerful listening to this whilst fighting monsters. Such a beautiful track.
I think this is one of the big reasons why I ended up missing Iceborne even after completing Rise. The Guiding Lands really was a place where you could just fuck around and have fun fighting whatever you ran into (unless you ran into Kushala).
The clutch claw buff the game got in Fatalis update, increasing duration of 1.5 min to 3 min really makes all the difference, also you have the shaver charm for pre-Shara and shaver decoration for post-Shara that makes even light weapons tenderise in 1 claw attack. The game is fine now, imo.

Yeah I always wondered why I heard differently in-game to most of the ones on youtube. Honestly I prefer this version.

This is just as emotional as the first time I listened to it. So calm and powerful... Definitely my favorite soundtrack of any MH game.

i really wish i could beat iceborne and get to hear this epic theme, too bad every mr monster has a million health and its super boring to play it
