I'm sure you could play the themes of Monster Hunter or other games in theaters infront of people liking opera 'n' stuff, without saying it's from games, and they would most certainly like it.
16:30 always my favorite part of The Hunter's Victory, just leaves me with a sense of awe and wonder, not just at the spectacle of the hunt, but that I was able to persevere and overcome the challenge. Truly one of my favorite Videogame soundtracks
Always loved the sound design for Nergi, every sound for it's movement just radiates power; When it leaps, there are little blasting sounds from it's paws kicking off the floor, thick billowing canvas sounds for its leathery wigs, and my personal favorite, the meteor sound from the divebomb 😂
1st time I fought Nergi I felt like I was playing with a giant cat, he is fast, uses those demolisher paws to smack you into oblivion, and he dive bombs your ass if you let it grow the spikes. If you run away he quickly nabs you and crushes you, to beat him you have to be ready for a tough fight.
The hunter's victory is a magical melody for me. I think it played when you defeated arch-tempered nergigante and won. After that brutal battle it was a magical melody for me to hear. It was uplifting and emotional.
Master why do you like to slap me an headbutt me? Nergigante: Doooooooodge!!! This is how I got fast reflexes and could escape the stabby stab of an ice hearted dragon
