which is crazy to see since i’ve been able to hit plat 3 on tank with like 60 hours and a horrible understanding of the game
I mean, most of these "bronze players" featured in these videos are literally nothing else than smurfs, playing purposedly like a dog shit, just for dragging the attention of pro streamers games and ending in their streams.

If you're talking about Gaia Rein, that's easily a top 5 Rein skin. They may be similar themes, but they aren't comparable in quality.

I’m a gold tank, bronze dps/support. I was lowkey proud of myself for climbing to gold on tank, but watching games like these make me realize it really isn’t hard as long as you aren’t a complete idiot.

Yup, 469 hours in competitive, and at that level? He was definitely higher in previous seasons but threw games to get a low sr so he could get Flats' attention.

i'm friends with the person in the video. they watch geezyclaps and they genuinely think charging someone off the map is always viable (hence why they are in bronze). i tried telling them numerous times but they won't listen.
Just friendly advice, if this series starts to be about people hard throwing or pretending to be toxic to get attention, it will lose a lot of it's charm. It's my personal opinion but at that point I'd rather see silver players trying than bronze players throwing for attention.

I'm new to your channel/streams and this type of content is singlehandedly reviving the spirit of Overwatch imo. Tough love/hilarious commentary on Bronze matches is both refreshing AND useful! I only play Support in comp because I don't feel confident as a main Tank... I'm gonna change that up after watching a few more of this series haha.
Just be ready to be the target of a lot of toxic, more so if you are a woman and need to lead coms. More or less lead coms, people expect it i have see .

@@SoulAtParadise I've been learning Ana and Baptiste in OW2, haven't explored tank much outside of QP. I also went with a gender neutral name and haven't experienced any sexism, even on the rare occasion I hop on comms. I hope you and your friend are having fun and that she's able to take the shitty comments and mentally delete them haha.

Flats called that rein ghost head skin the “literal worst skin in the game” too. How can there be 2 literals coexisting in the same reality?!?
Plot twist! It’s the same skin but looked at through a special lens. He had the fire head on the whole time, thats why he had to constantly dunk himself in the water.
At this point I believe he's lowkey trolling for semi-content because he called the best hog skin the worst too, and that's way more objective than the rein ones. Either that or he has a really poor taste, which is ok I guess. A lot of people have dumb reasons to like skins, some go only with the appearance while the more complicated ones require design and sense behind it

I'm sure he's yelling at his team, too, about them not helping him when they're having to fight 5v6 most of the time because of him. I'll always remember the Rein on Hanamura when I was in silver who had nearly a 800 hours of Rein and blamed our team for losing when he somehow kept managing to charge off the map.
Also, I think Flats make a good point that some people play Rein when they actually find his kit boring. I think that explains people who charge incessantly: they're bored, so they charge. They really ought to just play a different tank.

Also I see chat praising the Hanzo but I'm pretty sure the Hanzo is a smurf based on his level and getting 2 kills in quick succession before being pinned and making that maneuver to survive and then kill the Rein AND take the healthpack (something low elo players tend to forget exists).

In settings there's a QoL keybind to scrub forward/backward 5/10/15/20 seconds, would make replaying stupid moments a ton easier. I have mine bound to "[" to go back and "]" to go forward. Just FYI
You can also bind to slow down/speed up and switch player if you want to, but you don't use those too often
