Staying safe and spamming main is how you get decent damage and low deaths, while not adding much to the fight.
this play strategy only works when ur team isn’t completely dogshit tho
@@armando5994 this strategy works if you actually get kills instead of just doing damage.
@@armando5994 I was pointing out that this is not a good strategy. He claimed that he always gets highest dmg and low kills, but actually he wasn't contributing much to the fights.
@@polycrystallinecandyThis will be a dumb question, but as a hanzo what can you do to help contribute more?
Use sonic arrow reveal enemy position
Take advantage of Wall climb and hold high ground as much as you can
Did I miss anything?
@@handsomesquidward5160pray, hanzo is 50% aim 50% luck that the log sized hitbox on your arrows hits someone across the map in the head
Bros ult usage is worse than jays hairline 😂
Damn that's far
😐
#nojustice forjay3
That makes no sense.
@@rohitashchan59yearsago47not as far as Jay's hairline
As soon as the enemy Bob left his POV, he would forget about it. Every time. When he died to the slept Bob in his backline, absolutely peak bronze 5.
he is bronze because he has horrible ult management lol. bro held onto his first 2 ults for so long
Yeah he deserves to be in bronze like Jay said he thinks high damage is everything but he didn't bring any value
But bronze is too low
Cuz everything else he does is no lt horrible
@@humesspoon3176 ??? He says he deserves gold but can use his ults properly.
@humesspoon3176 💀💀💀
Imagine playing something like mercy and mfs be telling you about ur ult management
@@humesspoon3176 your just another brain dead silver lmaoo
As a Hanzo 1 trick, I would say he has not so bad positionin for a bronze, but stays in one place for too long, and just gets picked off. Also, since he's bronze, as expected he would be playing the "spamzo" kinda playstyle, and saving his ult for a BIG moment, instead of using to block the way and picking the rest of them off kinda thing. Overall, he shouldnt be bronze, maybe silver, low gold, but he's a good player, we gotta give him credit
Another thing I will say, his aim need a lot of work, cuz of the spamzo, but it may have been the nerves in SOME cases. Overall, well done to him for having the balls to do this infront of many
Yea I'm pretty sure this is it too, you put it perfectly. He did good performing live tho.
What are you gm?
I Hanzo main, and can confirm that he is better than some golds/plats I’ve played with. At least he has some concept of positioning/taking high ground/ and predicting shots. He’s also got to work on spamming at head level.
Very true, if he wants to spam, then he should do it at head level at least, to get unintentional kills look a bit more intentional. But I think he will progress very quickly if he adjusts his playstyle, as he has good potential
As someone who thought "yeah no way would I get nervous, it's basically quickplay, I'm G1 DPS and P4 Support!"
I was hella nervous and played like dogwater lmao mad respect to choco! And thank you to Jay3/Coach Koby for putting this on, it was so much fun to play in
Those call outs though. Mwahh just beautiful.
man i loved your gameplay, as a console player i would say you would be easyly gold or even plat here using your positioning and your callouts(here on console we usually just rush objectives and try to survive on bronze)
@@guilhermeerafaeldourado247 Sorry I'm not choco but I'm sure he would appreciate the words!
Nah when you were on my team on push and Havana you did well
I think this is the perfect depiction of someone belonging in their rank. He does well in his rank because that's where he belongs. Put him anywhere against players who have slightly more awareness and ability to avoid Hanzo angles and shots? He can't get kills and his damage numbers are from spamming body shots. Every hanzo player knows how easy it is to farm damage on him, don't let it go to your head.
He has potential considering he sounds pretty young and willing to learn, but he needs to lose the ego. He thinks he's so good because of inflated stats in bronze game, but never climbs? That's delusion. That's stat padding. It's always been the biggest noob trap in OW. Stats don't win games alone! And I hope he learned that. Hopefully he has another redemption video sometime down the line after he gets better!
I think he could hit at least silver because he has some basic positioning awareness, but he has no aim/prediction capabilities at all, he just spams in a general direction and hopes it hits. This guy gets 1 headshot every 5 minutes and probably thinks it was on purpose.
Actually state where matter if its about the kills but in ow a whole team could get a kill from one person if they damged him
Honestly Coach Koby is such a great coach. He was patient and motivating and focusing on the positives and teaching at the right pace that the student can learn to get better instead of feeling like giving up. That's a good teacher right there. Sending much respect and admiration towards him.
Hey Jay, I'm a helo instructor in the airforce.. and What Koby was doing there when he started the live coaching and said " You played well on soldier last game" was he was trying to make his student receptive to everything he was about to teach him on... If you start it out like " Hey man you sucked, but I'm gonna coach you now on how not to suck" it shuts the student down and closes their mind off from any inputs so now they're just gonna be thinking on how much they sucked and this example too it being live they're just gonna be way more insecure and try to overcompensate which isn't gonna be beneficial to the student. When you coach or instruct you have to focus on the root cause analyses and then work from there rather than the problem.. i.e, they suck
Definitely needs to hit an aim trainer. Most of his elims were from spamming general sightlines. Some work on his aim and he'd be able to climb to high silver, more work on his ult usage and he'll do well in gold. I know a lot of players think Hanzo is only good for spamming sightlines and just doing that alone will let you climb but that ain't it. This guy (granted he wasn't using optimal sightlines) is proof that it simply isn't the case. If you can't pressure the supports or any of the team from an off-angle, you're not going anywhere
NO AIM TRAINERS. They teach you that the enemy moves predictably and that does not help you in the long run. Just play the game! play QP, DM, whatever but play the game!
I honestly think deathmatch or 1v1’s are better for aim training. You gotta learn to dodge and aim but aim trainers don’t teach you how to dodge.
Also, gets you comfortable with dueling so you’re not so panicked in actual games taking duels or being forced into a duel.
@@seaottar25 Yes, Try Hard FFA is a great way to aim train and learn to stay calm!
@@Iwantbrains247 it depends on your level of skill. This guy would benefit from an aim trainer. Just getting used to being reliable with shots, target switching, reaction speeds and tracking are all things aim trainers can help with. I agree, playing the game will help but I've seen first hand how aim trainers can help. I went from an average of 45-50% accuracy (after playing the game for 7 years) on most heroes to 55-65% accuracy from 10 minutes of aim training every day within the first week or two of using Kovaaks. It also reduced inconsistency as my aim used to be really good on some days and absolute dog water on others. Now I'm way more consistent and very very rarely have "off-days"
@@Iwantbrains247 Bro what are you talking about Kovaaks is a great way to train, you just have to appreciate it for what it is. Kovaaks builds confidence and good habits, whilst playing the actual game will improve game sense and how to apply what you've learned on Kovaaks.
He is spamming too much and not taking advantage of high ground. In the beginning, he did try to hold the high ground, but after a certain amount of time and pressure, he forgot about anything but spamming main.
There were so many opportunities where my Hanzo instincts kicked in and screamed, "Climb to that high ground next to you," "'Go for a flank and get one or two picks in their backline," and "Take your time for some shots instead of revealing your new position."
From what little he has shown on Soldier, he definitely needs to work on his tracking aim, and while at it, he should at least try to aim for the head. It seems to me like an "aim for the target, if I hit the head, it's a bonus" playstyle
To be fair, I think he don't really need those to prove himself gold. Like everyone in gold just sit there and spam don't they? The one that spams the most numbers out definitly deserves to be in gold.
yeah I got really annoyed with the spamming cause he ruined so many opportunities
@angnimay9466 you might be right most golds and below do that. But u shouldn’t be learning to play like them, u should practice how higher ranks play. If u aim for gold, that’s all you’ll ever reach, so strive for higher imo.
Tbh, high ground is fine, but I personally think its easier to hit headshots when you are on the same level as someone else.
I was thinking the same thing. There were so many moments where he could have held the high ground or taken a different angle. So frustrating!
i think yall are really giving gold players too much credit. he for sure doesnt deserve bronze if just for his aim alone, and hes not like completely braindead, which is 99% of bronze. he was holding his own in gold, and i dont think he could maintain gold, but for sure at least silver
Nah his aim is terrible. All he dies is sit main and spam
The real issues is that he makes 0 plays, no clutch ult, no meaningful healer picks, 0 pressure. He just exists and spams bodyshots.
nah this dude really is supposed to be in bronze he doesn’t use his ult when literally he can zone every single one of the enemies or even get some kills
like fr ur ult is mostly used for zoning
FR anytime i see an elo hell video of ppl thinking they're Gold, I see comments of like oh positioning, cd usage, target priority, rotations etc & Im like......😐 are we talking about the same rank??? It doesn't take much to get/be Gold😂 its the rank of casual average gamers lmao
he provides very little pressure, he doesn't take angles, he only plays backline, no wonder he went unkilled that one game, because he plays behind everyone and can run with soldier to safety after everyones dead, he could very easily take the high ground before the first point on offense, or when he rotated take a high ground around there, but he literally only went high ground for a few shots one time, he needs to be commanding attention AWAY from his supports and tank, not just spamming arrows from behind everyone that rarely ever actually kills
This is the most Hanzo hanzo I have ever seen, literally never aims but randomly gets headshots lmao
he 2 - 3 actual picks in 30 fkn minutes bro... like he genuinly got 0 solo kills
That first nano makes me think we gotta do elo he’ll for the Ana😭
Hell
are you saying they deserve a lower rank lol
@@Cytro ion know how the Ana gold
@@seandagamer2805 idk, they were probably trolling, I would never nano a hanzo lol
I think she was like "aww let's let the bronze kid be star of the show" lol
As a Hanzo main, this made me want to leave work early to go home and turn my Xbox on so I can release my frustration from this video
I was literally yelling at him to use dragons lmao, plus he was just spamming a corner. I'm still bronze 1 hanzo but I've been climbing recently despite teammates being about as brain dead as he is lol
The prime example of why stats dont matter, yes he has the most dmg but the damage he is doing is worthless, for example shooting a dva for 500hp and her not dying is worse than doing 50 dmg to someone to kill them. The guy just really isn't doing anything. To get out of bronze you need to play like u dont have a team and just kill stuff its that simple.
exactly... ppl thinks dmg is more important then kills. i've had ppl flame me for getting the most kills but the least dmg.
He also just randomly shoots in a general direction and is never lined up at head height, hence why he gets so many body shots.
Jays face after koby said he did good on soldier last time had me in tears I was laughing so hard.
I think he needs to try out a code for hanzo if he's going to be playing him as well as his hitscan characters because there is a delay and an arc he needs to be mindful of. I saw most of his pre-fire and regular shots were only aiming for the body and never the head whenever an enemy and himself was on even ground - he hit some decent headshots when he was the only one on high ground. Keep practicing and good luck!
That 33-0 game was probably a one off for bro and i bet he hasnt stopped talkint about it to his friends since
100% i guarantuee, he sat in the back line of his own team and bodyshot everyone. Even 1 damage counts as an elim if someone else kills them.
@@cagxplays9602i mean i could credit him a bit for the 20 final blows
@@4LBallin I mean look, he did something sure, but does that mean he's outputting the optimal value and the loss is everyone elses fault rather than his? Not even close.
Ive hit GM on console for years. This guys aim isnt his weakpoint surprisingly. His positioning, understanding the fight and where his enemies focus is. And general game sense is very bronze. He doesnt take advantage of anything and consistently tunnel visions on his surroundings. Let alone not paying attention to his teammates near kills or positons themselves. Hes very much bronze if not silver. His aims still atrocious, but the other things I mentioned are absolutely braindead almost. Like he just downloaded the game.
underrated take
agreed fr, he had so many chances to use his ult to get a kill or two or even get them to separate and have his team pick off the ones that were separated. Also him spamming his arrows definitely didn't help the team. A lot of luck with those headshots, but him not being too aggro and positioning himself behind his team is good but other than that he has a lot of room for improvement.
I don't agree with anyone that says he doesn't deserve to be in bronze...this was literally the most deserved rank for this series, guy is straight up awful lol.
Perhaps (and that’s a big perhaps) this spam damage style hanzo would have worked in ow1 where the pace is not as fast. But in ow2? No way! The pace of the game has inevitably sped up bc of 5v5, your gamesense has to be a lot better and refined to climb. You gotta make split second decisions much more often.
Ultimates are also less flashy in usage. The days of ‘team wipe grav dragon’ is really over. If you can get one or two picks using your ultimate, that’s a game changer.
I use controller to play on pc (so no aim assist) and play mercy/LW/Ana/moira (less ana recently as no aim assist + increased forced duels in ow2 makes it hard, but I did get to 3200 on an Ana only acc on console in ow1) so basically my aim is actual dogshit but I still got gold on dps just via gamesense. Is it easier to have good aim to climb? Yea but you definitely won’t get far without gamesense, as proven by the cheater vods.
Wdym he wasn’t aiming at all he’s spamming down site lines which only works with a few characters in the game and isn’t consistent
This series is a fun study on how people overestimate their ability.
The nano looking like that ana is living in elo heaven
Not a dps main but it felt like he didn’t off angle enough and needed better target selection
It felt like he spammed the tank way too much instead of trying to pick out more impactful targets
Man I love how brutally honest jay is😂😂😂
Seeing all these great dragons that he passes up is making my blood violent
Bronze Hanzo looks exactly as I thought it would
I feel like he learned some really useful stuff from that Live coaching. THe coach kept saying "Really great shot there" even if it was mid, but that is the job of the coach. To instil confidence. You can see later in that match how the Honzo is taking the advice onboard. It's great coaching, love that guy
this guy plays hanzo like I do, shot my arrows and pray someone walks into them.
We love the 0 coordination nano honzo 😂
As a hanzo player I like the free coaching 😂
where's the sombra hard focusing him on the back lines? is it just when I play hanzo?
He just pumps damage into the tank
26:30 eh I think dragons are mostly good for taking away area. I use it to separate foes too, although I usually just send them down the objective to clean it off to contest it
Jay: "U look bronzy, *I can't fix that* "
Bro holding on to his ults for dear life.
He coulda used 3x as many had he used them for area denial or to secure a single kill instead of waiting to get a 5K (and obviously failing).
Never forget the events that took place on this day
this is why us Hanzo players get disrespected this guy is literally the reason why people say Hanzo s just spam random arrows until they get a pick. 😂😂 he is shooting nothing half the game 😭😭
The rein dashed after him to ult him lmao
8:00 in and apparently, he doesn't know about hanzo's wall-climb ability =D
he also forgot to use highground...
if you gonna spam corners at least get height out of it as well to throw their aim off!
As someone he sits around Diamond and Platinum, Someone complaining that they deserve to be in gold but are stuck in bronze is just so comical to me
I’m diamond tank and hardstuck gold everything else 😭
no one in bronze 5 is in elo hell lmao people can't turn their mouse and look around at that rank you can literally carry 1v5. And I'm not even a good player
25:20, bap made a appearance for 1/2 a second just before the coach calls him out
bro he hold the dragons for OW3
bronze-plat players be holding their ult until next christmas and wonder why team fights aren’t won
That was one of the games of all time for sure
This entire video im just yelling at my screen like flank, take high ground, ULT YOU RETAARRRD
As a Hanzo main over 50+ hours on him THIS IS NOT HOW YOU PLAY HANZO
i haven’t seen the video yet but if they aren’t dying 24/7 then they deserve gm bc i can never find a hanzo that is never dying constantly
HE IS GIVING ME PEAK STRESS LEVELS BRO IS SAVING HIS ULT FOR NEXT YEARS CHRISTMAS! 😰💀 i had to stop the vid multiple times. Edit: Is a 5v5 game broski 1 or 2 kills is more than enough to set them back.
the sooner he learns that the sooner he will get out of bronze.
In the first half from what I’ve seen so far he doesn’t use his ult enough and he doesn’t know when to
That ult usage put him on a smaller scale of play than Jay’s height
Brudda saving his ult for OW3
Bro was saving his ult for the next time
So many instances I’m yelling at my screen to ult. Could have turned quite a few rounds around with it. Sometimes, to get out of a rank, is how you handle your ults. Had some pretty nice shots, but his aiming felt like it was in Bronze. I’m curious how he’d play with no stress like playing in Jay’s stream? I’d be down to watch thay
I remember playing OW and started off as a Silver. After a long time of playing and honing my skills finally got all my roles into Masters. Luckily I never had to deal with Elo hell as I always played with friends. Good times. Now I hate ranked cause it’s sweaty sweaty and nobody talks in solo queue
You hate ranked because it's sweaty? That's the entire point in the mode?
with his aim, it's actually good to see him surprised to kill someone :D
He wasn't really making any plays. He does consistent damage but he holds onto ults way too long and isn't helping his team find angles or make space. He wants to sit back with his healers 100% of the time and hope that he gets a lucky pick. Anybody can rack up big numbers that way but his elims will always be low if he isn't making plays.
Did we see him hit a deserved headshot or was everyone of them a classic spamzo momento
7 3 4k dmg isn’t good with hanzo. He’s a sniper
He had so many good opportunities to get a good ult, and then just ults in the backline and gets no kills
Saving all of those ults for overwatch 3
it may be true that your teammates ARE bad, but your teammates being bad does not mean you are good.
i am a hanzo main and i am diamond what i noticed that his positioning was wrong if he plays flanks like tracer he will rank up really fast he also used his ult really less
Remember yall. YOU are the only independent variable in ALL your games and 1 game of really bad teammates dont define your whole career.
feel like he should go learn all the heroes especially when it comes to dps and know which heros counter each other as well but we all could improve as well
Its funny how the guy spams cooldowns as soon as he can but too scared to click "Q"
In the time he hold his ultimate he could got another one already if he used it to kill one or 2 at least .
Problem is he doesnt take off angles, justs spams behind the team hoping to get a pick and misses most of his shots while time is running out
he must have the buffest hanzo in the world with how long he holds that drawstring. hes a sitting duck with that movement penalty
Oh I’m here for this!!
Holding the Ult for Overwatch 3
I was put in gold fast, i play good but i met a good player who had been in diamond and they told me a lot of stuff, and most about it was strategy and safety and now i win way more games and im climbing from silver
This guy is like Flygon A Ground Dragon type. Why he keep aiming at the floor with ult!!!
Not enough head shots , getting damage is good but the point of widow and hanzo is to get those quick kills with head shots to tilt the fight in your favor.
Coming from an Awkward video to this had me screaming at my monitor to play an off angle
This is happening to me too i have around 40 kills a game with pharah and i cant better than bronze 4
Definitely not Bronze 5 , probably Bronze 1, still Bronze
Im 4 mins in and it hurt to see a sleeping orisa perfectly capable of dying to his dragon...but he didnt use it
him not ulting at 4:00 actually pissed me off
getting coached for a video game is crazy icl
as a hanzo main a HATE that sonic bug, it throws me off and generally pisses me off.
not sure what was more annyoing, the wood gameplay or this "coaching" at the end
He plays Hanzo just spaming arrows and hoping to get a hit 🎯, i think he needs to breathe you know xD put a little thinking on every throw.
Broa ult is half a dragon buried to the ground 😢
Happy birthday Jay 🥰
he gotta stop admiring his work, every time he gets a kill he loses his mind and calls out who he killed lol
Jay dnt feel sorry, this boy is being put in his place
I was playing in gold/silver lobbies for placement. Got placed bronze 5, after getting 15 wins and 3 losses I was on bronze 4
Zero ult awareness
The step from bronze to gold is hugh.
He should maybe be silver with that play.
I was stuck in bronze hell I’m gold 1 now across the board. Honestly I needed to just outperform my treammates
i need advice, i am always being targeted because i am doing the most damage and kills with less deaths, then i get focused and die the most. im starting to rage because i am always being focused no matter the character or roll
Honzo killed me
BRO JUST ULT
Yeah he has several free kills but doesn't aim for head. Just spams in the direction of enemies. He could have killed several but he's hitting the body. I personally will always hit a head shot on an enemy on high ground that's not looking at me. It's free. They stand still or strathe. Just shoot where they are and the arrow will hit because they go left right and back left by the time the arrow hits on long range
Hanzo saving ult for overwatch 3
The few kills this guy got on the 1st map shown why Hanzo is such a BS champ at low levels. You just shoot randomly and if you hit someone that's often an HS even if you aint locking his head
That didn’t matter. He got a few picks every other kill he got was thanks to his teammates. If spamming blindly with zero aim was a good technique he wouldn’t be bronze 5 would he lol.
If he'd learn when and where to use ults he'd be playing minimum for sure, he's a bit like me, not knowing when to use ults and not wanting to waste it
Man is better than the gold soldier on his team... LOL
he should have cut him off when they were reacing the destination on kings row
