When are you going to start doing elo heaven for all the boosted players?
Yes put meg in silver!! 🤣🤣
Bro we need this I've had so many gold players that have been placed in diamond
@@GZF4 right! me for example..
I think this is a bad idea because no one will willingly out themselves as a boosted player. Especially in public, where everyone can see
Ha yes
Monty did pretty great all things considered. I definitely think Koby's offer will really help him fix simple stuff quickly and he'll climb no problem. I think most of us in the game were impressed by his mechanical skill for a Plat player, so it's more about the decision making and positioning
Impressed by what ?
hey dude thanks!
@@roxassalvatore3105let me guess you in gold and watched a couple gm games and think you know everything
@@roxassalvatore3105aim basically
@@montymol3_467You did great man! you def deserve at least master. Better than any plat support i q with, really imo the only thing that threw you off was how fast paced the games are, and mainly i think just the nerves. Idk how you are still in plat, but if you rank up, you'll def soar.
19:50 I think this nano speaks to his ability to assess the situation
Junker queen is already picking up kills and he knows that she'll be fine
Soldier is in the back with visor, generally not doing much even with his ult, and even then she is actively keeping him alive.
He nanoes the cass here, not because he pops ult but because he caught him with actually 1 hp, preventing the team from snowballing and winning the round. I think he is very good.
Watching this 5 months late but they also commend to use nano for sustainability instead for pushing
Boosting general dps in that situation is also a good idea though, Ana can keep Cass with that amount of hp with the nade-shot combo, but ofc you gotta be confident you're gonna hit that shot
Maybe they weren't feeling confident of the shot and used nano for sustainability, which it's also good
Either way, the game sense paid off and they won the round
noted this as well so hearing jays reaction made me think he should be the one at plat
For the first time in any of these elo hell vids, (as a gm support myself) you could convince me that he was a masters player if I was just shown the gameplay. With a few bits of advice and coaching he could easily climb. Fair play Jay, u found an elo hell player. I would not be that upset to have him as my second support.
that was me in the video, i truly appreciate this im doing my best to climb!
@@montymol3_467You did pretty well, I think your ult usage need the most improvements, that could help your team win more fights. Maybe also improve your ana quick scope a bit, that can help you land more critical heals on that doom.
@@qiyuxuan9437 yeah that was pretty bad lol. i was shaking hard and on like 100+ ping so that def didnt help but i agree i need to work on that stuff
If you dont climb on support with that op ass roster its your fault
@@ouinon4138Lmao "OP"
19:52 nanoing the cass kept him alive, honestly a good play in that situation. Probably doesn’t matter too much since the team fight was pretty much won, but keeping the whole team up isn’t a bad call there
That’s what I was thinking as well
I think the point was that he should have already used Nano ages ago lol
@@commentbot9510 true, but better late than never (just like this response XD)
"Platinum ranks have been looked down by the human race"
Weeps in Silver.
It's lonely down here.
We silvers live a rough life.
Talk to em. We’re the castaways
lmao what does that make bronze@@thehypnosisworld
@@DragoneirThe fun rank.
I was the genji at 12:00 to clarify I was expecting a nano to shut down Illari ult, but things happen.
I also did fall of the map on hanzo… 😂
It's okay, I understand you wanting to take out the carry.
Lmaooo jk, I played like dogshit on King's Row
to be fair u didnt even hit the slash
why are you guys being rude to the masters player, things happen smh, you don't always hit every shot even In GM let alone top 500
“You guys are healers disguised as dps that do of damage”
I’m pretty sure that’s a support
Could also refer to the utility they provide too
@@noahhughes121some provide more utility than others, kiriko only has her ult and suzu, suzu having a long cooldown, while ana has 3 abilities that provide support....and then we have moira who is the only healer, doesn't provide anything but heals and tickle damage
@@Sac-chanyou don't get it. supports also do damage. they support with damage because damage is carry. being a healbot provides 0 value and you won't get better
@@sh1rom1su i do get it, I'm trying to explain their main roles depending on their abilities. Moira is a main healer, kiriko is more of a main *support* mostly bc of her suzu and ult, while Ana is just the definition of support, she has a sleep dart, her nade heals allies and amplifies their healing recieved while also negating enemies healing, and her ult heals + amps dmg + gives dr. Then we have Zen, who is neither, he's an off support and i don't need to explain why.
Jay3 man, at 15:55 I get the point you are making about supports needing to heal, it's their primary responsibility after all. But what was Monty supposed to do? Dip into that room crossing an los they knew the enemy was holding? Backtrack around to the other entrance? Nah, JQ was gonna peak that corner again, the best thing he could have done in that situation was help hold down the corner until he could heal her.
Everyone: fighting for their lives and coming up with strategies to win.
Jay3: yo this Ana skin sound cool bro.
"if you don't ego peak, why play" truer words have never been spoken lol
I look at this master gameplay and I just think ‘ WOW, I must be shit’
Why is that?
XD I’m the same
I look at this gameplay and reminisce on how I stomp these lobbies lmao rip 😂
@@dueler8281same 😂
@@SnakeSkinz Because I’m not as good as them? I thought that was kinda obvious
I wish we could know whether or not these are mostly low masters or high masters players, even though it’s the same rank there is a difference in the gameplay between the two. congrats to Monty for carrying his weight in the lobby though
The difference between him and the other supports in round 1 was staggering. Its also a team diff because they had a strong classic poke while the team with the plat kind of had an all over the place comp. I personally dont recommend anyone play Kiriko if they arent already good with her because shes difficult to aim with.
Kiri OP And easy to play
kiris not difficult to aim with its crosshair placement or you're just bad
@@jessetaylor1437like, do u even read what u type? ItS jUsT cRoSsHaIr pLaCeMeNt, bro all aim is crosshair placement. Is she hard to play? No. Is she hard to master? Yes. How good u aim on Kiriko massively impacts the game. With how much HS dmg she does, a silver Kiri is much different to a GM one who can hit their shots.
@@jessetaylor1437 I play hitscan and im bad so its hard to me /shrug
@@jessetaylor1437
Kiri is not a hitscan like Baptiste or Ana plus her rate of fire is slow. She is objectively harder to land shots with than many heroes in the game at mid to long range cause she has to predict where the enemy will move similar to playing Hanzo.
hot take: i don't think it's fair to let people play illari in these until she's in comp, people at every rank are still adapting to her
Tbf she’s pretty broken in high elo casual games already her gun does way too much dps for a healer and her turret has self heal and does a fair amount of healing on its own
@@hythere It's not really that the weapon does too much dps. It gives that impression because its hitbox is gigantic for being a hitscan weapon. It's hilariously easy to hit shots with Illari so that's why she's able to pump out so much consistent damage.
@@Kurppalumppu her full charge railgun does over 100dmg and it recharges in around a second how is that not broken for a support
@@hythere The hitbox of the weapon projectile is what makes it truly broken. Thank god it doesn't have a 2x crit multiplier at least.
@@hythereIllari's TTK is a full 2 seconds at a minimum. Bap's TTK is faster. Kiri's TTK is faster. Zen's TTK is faster.
Biggest thing he would have to work on is ultimate and ability usage. I think he only had one ult in both games that I remember was used well. Same with Ana nade, and bap shift. Suzu was used well and I think his Kirko was by far the best champ he played he was just in a bad team comp that was anti synergy and countered that the tank wouldn’t swap. His kirko is easily diamond master level while his bap seems plat and Ana seems to be gold.
@Fultonian-ve1ibI disagree. I think jumping makes it harder for people to hit headshots but makes it REALLY easy to body shot. Maybe that's just me tho
@@jaydenhohman2590 for bronze and silver its hard for people to hit you, but jumping makes your movement tooo predictable, you literally go up and down, so easy to time and hit at higher level skilled players.
@@jaydenhohman2590 when you start going down from the peak of a jump you go in a very predictable direction and your head will follow a straight line, you can only move slightly in ow not enough to dodge a hs
@@jaydenhohman2590nah jumping does nothing for you really. Better players can track you easily you're not fooling anyone competent.
when you said u hate watching supports dps and not heal.... he was healing as much as he could. He was actually smart and not focusing on the low health players that were out of his LOS, and instead doing damage and maximizing the time until his low health teammates get in his LOS. Then he healed.
Love the elo hell series and content. Keep up the great entertainment Jay!
As the main ana (am silver and that is nothing to be proud of), I think the nano at 19:45 was good thought cause sometimes if you like know this team fight you gonna win or somewhat overwhelmed at somepoints you can just nano to keep your ally alive to continute the fight with 5 vs 4 5 vs 3 and not like 4 vs 4 3 vs 3, but that just from the silver ana point of view
Agreed, I was high diamond/ low to mid masters support throughout overwatch 1, and atp that close to a cap, I’d nano to keep the Cas up, he was 99 on noon, two ults had been popped by queen and soldier, and the fight was being won by his team; Nanoing the Cas to keep him alive with high noon as a precaution in case of needing to stall was the correct choice there I’d think
If it weren't the fact we were watching him the whole time, I probably wouldn't have been able to tell who was not masters
At the start that’s the funniest piece of literature I’ve read 😂
great vid! love the energy and the plat player is actualy prty good
as a wise awkward once said, "damage"
Now imagine if there was one team that claimed to be in elo hell and the other team was just masters players
The biggest problem a lot of times to get out of plat is you have to be the one to initiate conversation and comms in your games because communication takes players a long way and it is rarely seen in plat games
Cassidy nano bc he was abt to die he wanted to keep team alive
would’ve made more sense to just nano jq, losing cass wouldn’t have lost them the fight
Yea queen or soldier for sure. Both were ulting before cass even got low.
I'm a high plat tank myself (maining Doom), but I'd hate to play against him on his Kiriko. He would definitely be carrying in a plat lobby with great awareness and good priorities. Obviously he messed up at some points, but so did the masters players too.
bro got put in plat and turned into plato
18:17 poor Meg FeelsBadMan
Love the vid! But every time you complain about the lack of healing, the person on low health is not within line of sight… what do you want him to do? 😂
Walk to a spot where they have los perhaps?
and die to widow peaking? @@lilthreadd
@@aqn01 widow that cant one shot above 30m?
Chat GPT writing the novel the night before🔥🔥🔥
It's so weird that so many people of any rank feel like that rank is trash and they deserve the higher rank. This guy who thinks platinum is garbage tier and he should be master, while there are a million players stuck in gold who sincerely believe that if only they could break into plat, which they actually deserve, they would be happy. In reality once they got to plat they would start thinking they really should be in diamond...
Homie was moving his mouse a lot but obviously nobody paying attention how he hits his heals, immortality, and securing death blow shots no problem with it.
It’s crazy how much the pace of the game increases out of metal ranks.
I was briefly diamond in OW1 and even that from Plat was INSANELY faster.
I’m currently hardstuck in silver (😂) in OW2. I genuinely think I’m a high gold (and then plat after I adjust for a few weeks) player, I’d just love to have a team that don’t all walk into the enemy team one by one out of spawn.
Im Plat 2 and this guy is better than me.
weird thing but if your testing him for comp rating why is zencep playing the new hero which isnt allowed inside of ranked so it is an unfair advantage for the team swap
I like his aim and awareness I just don’t like his ability uses. I would’ve liked to see more aggressive plays especially with nades and maybe some more chip damage with all characters. (I do not know what I’m talking about I haven’t played ow in years)
i think he played super safe because he was intimidated by the pace, he wasnt really confirming kills and didnt know how much he could limit test his life, experience issue
in high elo theres gonna be a hanzo or widow in most lobbies so he’s gonna have to get used to cover being his best friend so that he doesn’t get one shot and i kept seeing him peak the corners a little too often, especially as ana. and he needa get used to the fast divey pace too.
jay was so real when he said the higher in ranks you go the faster the gameplay is
i love how the only times the person proves theyre in elo hell is when they right several novels just to explain they should be in a higher rank
4:41 I understand why it looks like that to a top 500 player, but very few people hope for big team killing ults, rather we often have difficulty deciding to use an ult while under the possibility of getting zero value out of it, especially against higher rank players, in these elo hell vids, it's hard to get a situation when you can confidently say, "if I put this window here and now, it will get value"
You’re think too hard on it. Some ults like bap window should be used to get kills 1-2 kills not saving it for a team kill. Hoping for a team kill every ult is bad thinking.
YT switch to this next and I had my headphones on and I kid you not I thought Kermit the Frog is talking about OW2, I was so confused I had to turn the screen of my phone on to see who this is.
The first match the DF could've helped Monty but ran back into spawn. Also, in the second the DF should've swapped when the other tank did. Also I see that no one utilized the ping system until the second game in the second match. Pinging as a healer imo really helps dps and tank be more aware. I understand they have coms but to ping something so they can see it also helps also aiming as ana helps too. I main ana and if you hip fire you're going to miss some important shots if you don't aim.
Ultimately him gatekeeping his dps from his nano is why he is stuck in plat. He needs to use nano more often so he can be building more and easily winning more fights.
that monty guy is insane omg i want to be him
@@KraanFanFan i want to be in him

You did extremely well, mate! Given the obstacles like connection and obvious nerves, I think you played well and exhibited perfectly what elo hell can look like. All compliments from me, you did brilliantly ᵕ̈

This person can hang in masters I'm sure just watching him play.
19:48 they called to use nano to sustain. he's following the shot call, he did the right thing
The fact there are boosted players and people who are legitimately held back shows how bad this games matchmaking and balance are.
Since i started playing life weaver, I've saved my ult alot less, because it usually isn't as effective and that has carried over
Baptiste is the other character I play that I have a lot of trouble using good ults. I want to use windows early, but idk, seeing the team leave the fight and getting nothing off of it, feels bad but Ig it wastes time. Or they all start a massive dive and then the window is now a spectator.
Had to pause 10 seconds in, just to say that & I already love this guy. Wygd 🤷
I definitely think he should be able to climb the rank to masters. Not sure if he has the staying power judging only from a few matches.
The only person on earth who says "rom" is in that lobby
As a plat player, sbmm shafts you, cause you get gold teammates but fight plat players
Almost 400k we need the duck back
Jay3 with a wholesome video? What is this??
Love your content FR though
I havent seen all of the Elo Hell series but this is my first time seeing one where he does belong in a higher rank. I feel he could definitely fit in mainly diamond, maybe masters 4 or 5.
delusional, he's gold.
Jay3 I’ve just recently took up ow2. Former 3X apex master. Im in Plat for dps and support and i feel as if i have a pretty good understanding of the game to this point but for some reason i’ll get streaks in ranked where i feel like my team is absolutely brain dead. But to be fair idk if im the problem or if ow2 is really shafting me. Id love to participate in one of these so i can finally figure out if im in elo hell or not
More content from jay3!!
@5:09 - That "spectator bug" didn't exist in OW1.
They break things, call them "bugs" and somewhere along the way we forget they're bugs and call them "features".
What's interesting is I never played Overwatch 2 until like this Month and played ranked . Only 6 wins and 3 loses got to Masters. Even though I thought it was Gold rank 😅
Nooo DPS is damage per second, sustained damage… supports have generally high burst damage to compensate their healing, they’re not called healers because they don’t just heal, hence being a support! Accept supports as supports and not healers and all the worlds problems go away!
Jay3, for these you should have the discord overlay on so we can see who's talking.
I solo queued to master rank. Went through much pain and suffering. Many people should not be in comp. Nuff said.
elo hell does exist im gm trying to get my friends supp up from gold and there are so many games where the team is just bad at positioning… once you hit like diamond your skill can actually have a huge impact on the game
I feel monty tho. I’m gold, and I’ve been gold since 2019. I only ever peek gold 1 as a support main but I can never break into plat.
I’ve never duo’ed until recently with a tank/dps main and we played about 10 games straight and won every single one, so this might solve the problem, but I tried open role for the first time and i mainly played support with a splash of dva and pharah and got placed plat 2, and I’ve just recently climbed to plat 1 as support and I sometimes play diamond lobbies. The game just feels a lot smoother with people who know how to switch and don’t ego push.
The ana skins base is at tier 61
I honestly love how jay 3 doesn't understand that Florida starts school earlier then most states north of Florida.
"I'm healing you I'm healing you. Please carry me."
His position is so passive. I don't see much proactive damage.
As a currently plat player I would like to say get this guy out of plat... he is definitely way better than me and I have a ton to work on... holy...
I am on Xbox but still... this was just impressive! Also a support main!
12:24 why tf did he bubble so late
2min 30 and i have enough. Bro press 3x shift while everyone was full hp. I think the game was nice putting him in plat
I think he deserves diamond
His cooldown usage on Bap was very plat.

either that or hes the average british person
He def got inspo from the previous Reinhardt lol
I feel like the rank is based on consistend hours played?
If a SUPPORT is only supposed to heal.. then why can they do damage in the first place?
One thing I'm noticing is that he reloads CONSTANTLY. like even after one shot. he needs to focus on using his resources more and to not be so afraid of "running low"
whether you think he's master's or not the fact that he gets queued with literally brand new comp players is hilarious
I feel like it should be same map and team swap for true fairness
I loved his Ana.

watching that bap gmeplay made me dizzy bro like chill bro 😭😭
Not the best with utility, positioning also needs a bit of work and im in the same boat stuck in plat haha.
I think his aim could use a lot of work, it's the thing holding him back, and ult usage. I only say that because his aim looks like my aim after taking a break from serious play since OW1. And I'm silver 3. But at my peak, even, I was approaching gold, lke 1990 SR, and had better aim. But, I think he just had the jitters, too, probably nervous having people literally watching his aim? And his ult usage was way better than mine but just seemed off seeing them in hindsight. Really weird that 'nano jq' was in comms and yet he nano'd mccree.
My widow is crack holy fucm
After seeing this and being a plat support, I am now convinced I am Silver.. Monty got some of those skills going and he will be able to climb no problem
As someone that has been raid leading in wow quite a bit... It's not a surprise for me if some lower rank player can hold their own well in higher rank. The issue is likely when they soloQ and have to make snap decisions on their own. Being able to take charge of a game to win it is a very different skill from being able to follow the plan of someone else, that everyone is sticking to. Like how you see nowadays in WoW world first raids, the raid leader isn't even in the raid but watches a stream of the raid to make call-outs since that skill is still demanding and unnecessary that a player is doing for absolute min-max.
How come my plat teammates arent like this
imagine you learned how to carry and stopped complaining about your team.
My teams don't believe in using ults
90% of plat players being in elo hell due to their tank always thinking dva counters zarya
The argument "he's being twitchy" is still in my head meanwhile necros existing and being the best genji while playing twitchy
Are all the Elo hell players actually good when they write a novel
