He showed some T500 level skill, but the difference between Masters and T500 is in large part down to how many mistakes you make... Too many mistakes.

@@notaku8325 Yeah I saw a lot of tilt from his gameplay, especially on Hanzo. Was first death a lot just because of very stupid plays (usually going in too early. Looking for a hero play I think). Dude actually shows a lot of promise especially on Echo. Playing a bit more to get a bit more consistent on aim, and focusing on playing your best every game (can't control your team so you shouldn't stress about it) will 100% get him into low/mid GM at the very least.
Side Note: He also peaks a lot against mid/long range heroes without gaining anything. Meaning if the opponent is turned on he's just hard feeding.

He def isn't bad. He could for sure reach top500 in the future. He does some really good plays but he also does some mistakes that cost much more in higher lobbies than in lower lobbies. I feel like he's rushing a bit too much every fight and feels almost lost during pre fights, not getting in positions or talking favorable angles enough.
The key to gm is consistensy. You need to be able to change, adapt your gameplay and decision making every single game based on what everyone is playing and how they're playing, what are the threats
Dude might not be top 500, but he def will be in the near future. I feel like he started strong, but the pressure got to him toward the end. He'll get better control of that as he gets older for sure. Great job Madara!

@@oscar-ff2nn honestly it is the worst way to climb. Duoing lets you joke around with someone consistently and have a jolly good time.
Something I’m noticing as a fellow Echo Pharah player is that as Echo, he plays with his team a lot. That’s not bad, but Echo is a very good assassin. Especially on Rialto, which is a very good map for her since she can jump over the buildings. So you fly over, land on someone’s head when they don’t expect it, sticky then beam, then just fly away. Her fast mobility also lets her go spawncamp in certain situations and get really fast picks. Even if you don’t do that. Taking an off angle and landing a sticky burst is way easier when you’re on the side and not right next to your tank.
Maybe it’s just a difference in play style, but I tend to prefer sneaky/annoying Echo a lot more than just playing with my team.

you’re right abt the echo play style, echo really isn’t mean to just sit behind the tank spamming shots and stickies , you won’t get any kills that way unless someone pushes you or their supports make a mistake , echo is like an ariel tracer if you ask me , meant to be an assassin and go for quick picks when they don’t expect it and being able to change the flow of the fight with how fast you can kill before their supports can react , i felt like he kinda just sat back w his team farming damage and that’s why they lost , i feel like jay didn’t notice this since he doesn’t play echo

Bro comes across as the type of kid that has a lot of natural talent, hit a wall at g1 and rather than improving his skills he complains that its all because of his team. He could bot T500 if he worked on his skills, but isn't yet.

I had this guy avoided for the longest time, everytime he was on my team he literally threw hard and didn't switch, when he was on enemy team he got rolled easily. So funny to see him on a video like this lmao

@@harrybeast58 I'm GM 3 supp and he would need a lot of lifting. You can't be playing phara on the ground and keep dying to turrets And his general positioning is okay one minute, then he's in the open and dying the next.

He seems (to me) to have absolutely NO battlefield awareness, he gets tunnel vision on his target and it makes him seem to forget everything going on around him. Most of his deaths are to players he never sees. i.e. he is constantly being flanked. I am imagining things?
@@ianthompson44 im only masters on support but yeah his positioning needs some work. His hanzo and pharah positioning is weird. His echo is passive though which is so weird. Why the sudden change of play style

There were a lot of times when he looked lost in such a fast paced lobby. The gap between masters and t500 is actually pretty large
Jay, here's the thing, we need to see another M1 dps (who is happy as M1) with these teams to see if they'd perform just as well. It's not a huge gap. I'm sure most M1 players with 4 T500s could carry their weight
Honeslty it would never be crazy accurate. To do it, you need to have control over everything in the game. If the team do better with another M1, you could not be able to conclude that Madara is the problem. The solution is to use statistics, but it demands a LOT of games !
I have been really enjoying these series and Jay always mentions that he cannot see the scoreboard, but I thought maybe he could ask one of the players to take a screenshot at the end of the first round or at the end of the game, so that we all can see. But keep up these videos they are really entertaining!
His aim is a compilation of those play of the games that you think is the badass part of the game that you 1v4'd the enemy team but its some random moment with a total of maybe 5 of 30 shots hit but since those 5 shots all hit different people that died to a reaper ult, it counted as elims.

Idk man. The SR inflation is real in OW2. He might hit GM but I don’t think he’ll get into Top 500. In OW1, this would look like diamond gameplay. Sad to see where this game has gone. Hope he continues to improve!

He’s the not worst in the world but on the first map he was extremely hesitant and didn’t follow up and punish ppl after they used cooldowns. Like the enemy genji just dashed on high ground and wasn’t in his supports los and he kinda just stood there when he had a pocket

Valid point about the melee before they jump off the map for kill credit/ult charge, but in that particular case, he was still in Echo Copy form, so he wouldn't have gotten ult charge anyway...

Lonzo ball is a NBA point guard/SG but couldn't shoot fir shit for like 2 years. Just because you aren't a pro at something doesnt mean you cant tell that someone is severely lacking. If you truly are in elo hell you should stick out at that rank just just be able to blend in because what if you get bad teammates you need to be able to carry people to deserve that rank

If he works on his attitude, he'll get to Top 500. He's cocky and puts himself under pressure when he realizes he's starting too make mistakes which makes him make even more mistakes. If he gets that in check he can get to GM easily, probably Top 500 too.
Thats usually the propblem for master players. There are plenty of masters who are capable of pulling their weight in T500 lobbies, but they are lacking concistency

I've noticed a lot of honzo players who get pocketed by mercy don't always pull the arrows all the way back the damage boost makes up for it. He could just be to used to it because he normally plays pharah/echo. He probably duos with a mercy.
I think he deserves whatever level he is spastically playing. He doesn't focus and his aim is erratic. Once he simmers down, he'll climb past where he is.
If you fly and place the Echo bombs vertically (on the ground), it can be more useful cause it explodes on the ground instead of far away in case you miss the target no ?

Overwatch ranked its so scuffed im constantly carrying tf out of my team with 50+ kills as tank and dps in masters , and i get a plat on my team sometimes
I guess seeing stats while spectating is a PC issue because I can see them on console while spectating
He needs to use beam into a fight and flight out of a fight
It really don’t take much to be too 500 when you see how slow this game is compared to other shooters , but of course you have a team to rely on

His Pharah aint there, his echo is only valuable with a pocket which isnt really good, he did have some key pick moments but with a pocket I expected more. Overall I think his rank is fine, imo the matchmaking is bad

How can I apply. I am a plat tank and DPS and feel like I should be mid diamond in tank I am pretty much a one trick DVA with some Ram and Ryan mixed in. Feel like my game mechanics are low key bad but my game sense is where it at.
GM Echo, Diamond Pharah, Diamond Hanzo, Gold Mei. I think Masters is where he's supposed to be until he can round out his game play on the other heroes.

This is a rare view for sure and that player deserves higher rank then masters thats for sure.
He plays about my level, and I'm only midmasters DPS. I am bouncing between masters and GM support and I do agree his peeking is an issue and his trigger happy wanting to engage in a fight is causing first death a lot. But he is and was playing against people above his level, I'd say he could push GM eventually for sure with tweaks.

I feel like this guy was one of those players who was gold for a majority of his seasons and then during Season 3 shot up the ranks since during that season of OW2, the ranks got inflated to the max. He is definitely not Masters, he will drop the longer he plays.
