The reason so many submissions are throwers is because the type of person to think they did everything right, played perfectly and had horrible teammates never learn and are usually horrible, and they think they're submitting showing them carrying 🤣
@@mdkl73 Bronze has 3ppl. Genuine clueless players that grasp fps/abilities or their surroundings. Throwers that like abusing the former or watching them in the wild. And Players that grasp some mechanics but don't learn from their mistakes and make frequent dumb choices but blame the team for their issues

@@andrewhood4640 Climbing is hard but I climbed from bronze to gold with mostly Mercy. If I can do it almost anyone can, if they have the time and decent fps. It took me a long time but I did it solo. I’m a 40 year old mom who works and hadn’t played a pc fps since Halo CE.
@@truckerdave8465 i think the problem with bronze is that people don't actually understand the roles they play very much which one of the many reasons why dps is the most picked role (that being your #1 goal is to kill everything). Sometimes this can carry into gold too but not nearly as much.

I had a plat game like this last night. My Winston would jump towards enemy spawn and complain about heals. While I would have to risk my life in view of their widow to give him a couple shots hoping he would jump back towards the team. I hate when my team forces my hand into playing dangerously.

In the entirety of the first Round of Gibraltar, this Rein shielded about 200 damage, all in the first push. I wanna cry.
On Dorado, when he was pushing the cart under the bridge, the ana slept the enemy Reinhardt in the back lines. Couldnt solo kill him, which is whatever but our rein can see that on his screen and chooses to ignore it. Then ana gets pinned and killed. Lost fight cause he didnt go help his supports.

i like the progression of the series, where flats finds a different thing fundementally wrong with each player. It's very entertaining to see the range of problems that bronze player have. The only thing in common is messaging people mid game.
It truly is an amazing series he's doing. It's brought a lot of attention to bronze when most streamers just do either unranked or bronze to gm. They don't bother trying to help players understand what they are actually fundamentally doing wrong
The difficulty is not to find bad part in their gameplay but good ones

I didn’t even place silver my fist time playing OW (OW was my first PC game btw, had only played PS4 before that which involved mostly COD and FIFA).

@@sypherz2592 bronze and silver comp is essentially just ranked quickplay. I have 5 hours in comp and made it to mid gold fairly easily on support. IMO mid to high gold is where the real comp begins.

me, having been a support for these kinds of reins before: he's gonna go all in.
As low gold/high silver healer, I straight up deny them heals when they do that, my healing can be more useful to the rest of the team that are being team players.
It is nice when the tank takes a little damage so you can charge ult but so many think they are entitled to hog all the heals

Exactly, and for a lot of things in this game, you can't outheal the damage you're receiving. Only with a double pocket is it possible but sometimes that doesn't even work(whether it be the comp of supports or just too much damage is being taken ofc), this tank has such bad positioning, it's incredible LMAO.

The difference is ML7 would have probably given him up as a lost cause and not bothered to heal his stupid ass.
An easy hints for this Rein is to shield when below 50%, use environmental cover more, aim to firestrike multiple people, melee when shield is breached.

us tank players have a soft spot for the healers. we have played games where a reinhardt had gold heals. so when we see another tank being an idiot with healers trying their hearts out. we go savage mode. good heals and you didnt even appreciate it. smh
I love how every bronze player is like "its my teams fault" like.. no, youre in bronze, you deserve to be there.. if you were a gold player or even a silver you'd be able to carry yourself out of bronze with ease, but the fact that youre still in bronze means youre the problem
I would say that I disagree two weeks ago because there are throwers in bronze, but recently I got to gold alone with hard work. I agree with you fully. If you are still in bronze, blaming others, blaming your teammate, that means that YOU are not adapting or growing and YOU are the reason why you’re still in bronze. It is possible to carry yourself out of bronze if you deserve it.
To any bronze I reading this, I recommend watching your replays; with gameplay like this, yes, I know that bronze teamwork is hard if there’s a bastion but not every game is like that but there are ways to deal with it
@@sabrinayuexin9718 Making a new account worked wonders for me. For what ever reason I was stuck healing worse and worse teams for years. Started in mid-gold but dropping to near bronze and panicked. I did principle skinner, but was somehow right at the same time. Made a new account and instantly placed in mid-plat.
I go back and forth of this. I have played a couple hundred hours in support. I touched gold twice and lost 10 games in gold but they were all close. I've fallen to bronze twice. I got a new account and placed 27 something, mid plat. Because I'm not perfect I'm sure you can find plenty of mistakes in my bronze games but I think people under estimate the challenges inherent in a team game where your sr depends on the team but you can only control yourself
And the thing about mistakes in bronze, a lot of times the mistake is just you incorrectly weighed the cons of trying to save your feeding freddy vs letting them die so you don't put yourself in danger
@@assimilater-quicktips I was hard stuck bronze and ended up caving into getting a new account after years of trying and failing to get out of there. My tanking is still ass, but still **not** bronze. My dps could potentially climb up to plat from where it's at currently (mid-gold). Thing is, I ended up caving and letting my healing remain bronze because my brother (who's new to playing games, in general, on PC) found himself landed in bronze- and i wanna be able to play with him. My boyfriend had climbed my main acct waaaay out of bronze on everything... So if i didnt let my heals rank bronze on the newer accy, i wouldn't be able to play with my brother (who I'd bought OW for on pc). He's got good game sense and such; just not great with pc movement controls just yet. I know he'll be able to get out, and i don't want him always having to solo queue.
Thing is, I do think one of the things that helps folks climb out of bronze is finding/having other players you can at least duo queue with. Then you know you can depend on that person to have your back, and also have someone who may be able to bring issues in your gameplay to your attention to work on in the next match or in some qp rounds.

@@ruisurengai for support, unless you play Zenyatta exclusively (Maybe Lucio And Ana for other maps) you aren’t climbing out of silver/gold alone. You’d need to find a decent group.
@@poolturtle5772 Lucio is by far the easiest healer to climb to Plat with. Best mobility, self preservation and CC. Ana,and Zen you need crucial mechanics to climb. You have next to no mobility and low survivability. You either have good aim and land your sleeps/headshots or die.
