@「 Deadpoppin 」 i think that the biggest difference between plat and diamond is mechanical skill. in plat, people mostly understand the game, but can't hit their targets. the difference between a 2700SR cree/widow and a 3200SR cree/widow is night and day. a diamond widow will shit on entire plat team, single handedly, just by sitting in one spot and clicking heads. i've seen it happen a million times.

@@nates2 played a game today in lijiang. I was baptiste and bailed out a diamond border 5 star reinhardt otp out of his TERRIBLE positioning multiple times with lamp. He was the stereotypical unbind w, hold S key and charge on cooldown rein player. Then when he dies he blames me. I'm sorry I don't have lamp every time you charge into the enemy team lmao. Some Overwatch players are incredibly self centered it's crazy.
I had a D.Va like that once, team mates like this guy are almost always the weak link.
In Bronze, "Hard Carrying" means "My healers were around long enough to keep me from dying straight out of spawn".

no one "hard carries" in bronze. if you're in bronze it's because you belong there. i have bad tracking (40% ish accuracy on cree), played a junk PC, with a $2 dell mouse, on a 60hz, high latency monitor, and still breezed to 2500SR on dps. there were a few games where i "carried" (50% of dmg done) but most of the times i won was because i faced morons like this rein. the only thing you have to do to get into gold is to not be stupid. mechanical skill, pc hardware, etc, it's all irrelevant at that skill lvl.
if you are a bronze and blaming your team for beeing trash, you are not wrong. but you are trash too and you dont get out if it with flaming but just covering their mistakes.
i started in bronze and i deserved that rank, but i focused on myself and climbed to plat, yeay.

Those Healers did an insane job when he was busy playing Rein in the attackers spawn. The Mercy beam hardly leaves him.
My favorite part was on defence and the choke when he swung at his own doomfist

It's genuinely interesting because OW is a game where you can have good mechanics and still be pretty terrible. That's rare for an fps. People find interesting ways to throw.
1:43 as a mercy main, it is infuriating how often I see this. I get these tanks every day and they get PISSED if healers don’t follow them into literal suicide.

this rein has potential if he just maybe tries playing support especially ana and try to understand just how healing works. that and also learning how to position himself and which targets to prioritize

Rein should be designed as a rainbows character.
He should not NEED to prioritize enemies - he should just pop them one after another, akin to nails being hit with a hammer.
Juggernaut character should act as a juggernaut, and just mow down through the enemy team….. or his own team, since in fury mode he can kill his own teammates to extend the duration of a buff.
Example: After 5 seconds of swinging hammer, Rein enters “fury” mode, gaining 10 000 extra hp, for as long as he keeps swinging. Immune to all kind of crowd control as well.
Counterplay? Running away into separate directions, etc.
Rein is held back by game lean more into FPS department than MOBA department.
Ideally Rein should be akin to League of Legends Darius in concept and execution - the entire team should throw the game just to stop that one player, or else they die collectively.
Juggernaut characters should be played in a way direct way. You more forward… and you press button…. And enemies die.
You win because of your overwhelming stats, and you lose exclusively because of your own relative immobility.
THAT is MOBA character.
Overwatch in general is lackluster, because it focuses too hard on being aim-oriented…. When it really does not have to be such

It's the "I need healing" when his ana just emptied her whole healing reservoir onto his ass @ 17:58 for me for the full clown look at this point.
To be honest this guy was throwing. How does this guy believe he’s carrying. The doomfist was playing like a boss without the bubble though he hovered around him to get a bubble, the healers were hard healing him and sig, and the sig was making good ult plays yet was getting countered by his dumbass graving and leaving the push to the team. Literally never seen a worse player.

Long term gamers surely can't be stuck in bronze? As soon as you've learned how to aim *boop* silver.
@@click8708 hell, you don't even really need to be that good at aiming to make it out of bronze. Once you start learning how the game flows, there's no way you could stay in bronze, if you're willing. I love Winston because if i'm missing my shots on DPS, i can just chill and have fun even in comp with him, no aim required to make it to high gold ish

6:10 he's gone past the door, which wasn't fallen yet, self-bubbles immediately, and then gravs by himself with no support from the team. the grav itself got like 5 or 6 of the enemy team, but with a single sigma shield, any damage was negated coming from him, and then he died because he already used his self-bubble and was playing by himself
Flats is one of the chillest and funniest OW creators out there. Just love the content and the streams, keep it up man!

For anyone still in lower ranks, your best bet is not to heal bot tanks like this. Instead, find the carry (the Doomfist), keep them alive and contribute to damage as much as you possibly can.
It really stinks that many supports get peer pressured into saving feeding tanks instead of pocketing a damager, especially Mercy mains that are playing with a Bap or Moira. Let them heal the bots, damage boost me pls 😅😂

I found Flats' channel after OW2 came out and I started playing and yes I'm bronze (slowly getting out) but my god I can't get enough of these spectating bronze videos. They are so freaking hilarious with his commentary. When he said "this Lucio has been here since the start of the pandemic" I started dying.
He had both bronze Moth and bronze ML7 and still thought he wasn’t getting any heals.

I find it funny, that most of their personal enemy team are near the mark pun names. The hamster wrecking ball was close to chernobl and was a wrecking ball, sailormoon being a mystical flying egyptian princess, ahcapote being reinhardt. Even thought its not exact 1 to 1 references, its similar and I find it funny. There is also the mothgirl being a flying healer called mercy.

@@Real_MisterSir I don't think it would be quite like that. Bronze widows are shooting players with bronze movement and cover use. It's pretty easy to shoot an ana hard scoping main with no cover.

As a high plat / low diamond dps player. I can say with certainty that if you “belong” in a rank at least 2 or more ranks where you currently are, you’ll climb there. After the switch to role que, my plat tank main friend dropped to mid to high bronze on dps. I played on his account for a day to get the “bronze” experience. I climbed his account to plat in a single day.
This makes me so mad as a support main. I cannot believe the amount of heals this dude got and still said his supports are throwing.

So I don't play Overwatch, but I'm a big fan of OWL and Contenders and started to believe I knew a little about the game. Watching this series quickly has taught me that I still have a lot to learn about the basics that are needed before attempting some of the advanced strats in the professional type games.
