I mean, I'm a diamond hog main, and I have a brainfart and hook a tire like a dumbass every now and then. It happens!
I don't play much hog, so why is it bad to hook tire? Chat said that junk can detonate it before hog can one shot it, but if the tire has taken some damage already, isn't it possible to just shoot it without the melee? And sometimes, I think it's better that you hook the tire so the junk freaks out and kills only you, while the rest of your team lives. My bad if my thought process is shit lol, just things I'm wondering

1- hook it away from your team
2- you need to reload and it is 1 hp

It’s actually crazy how one of the biggest things from higher level players to lower level players is mindset and decision making, when he had ball in that little room on 3rd I immediately said out loud “whole hog him now”

Using POTGs is kinda unreliable for guessing SR anyway, because sometimes isolated moments look either more brilliant or more stupid than the rest of the actual match.

This happens in bronze. I get low health, the enemy team tries to jump me, our Zen who welded himself to the payload at the start of the match caps as I crumble to the ground. Hilarious every time.

The way I see it most people especially in games will flame someone who badly performs and assume they are bad at the game but then they never played any other matches with them and most often people can clap pretty hard so usually it’s just unlucky when people just suck in the match you’re in you wish they can perform at their best at times but not everyone knows positioning and game sense with every character

It's actually hard to hold top in silver. Attacking team paths better in reaction. Much easier to hold the forward corner because other team literally ints into you the entire game if you do it. Not to mention if you try to hold top someone will inevitably drop as soon as they see cart under them.
Plus it’s Silver. No one can aim so holding top is pointless. We needa be up in their faces

9:00-9:40 should give player benefit of a doubt. I've used Hook on barriers before just because there is so much going on at one time, sometimes you just press the button at the wrong time I feel bad for anyone legit trying to play and try their best and you nitpick their skill level.
3:28 can someone explain how he “peaked” the high noon. Looks like he just heard the noon, turned to find it, then walked behind cart. Am I being dumb here
One or two steps back (towards the hill) and he'd be behind stable cover of that corner. Instead, he saw the McCree, shot at him, and walked *further* into the team fight. Cart is last-resort cover in that situation as 1) There's a Bap ult on it so High Noon and chip kills you faster, 2) there's a chance it moves if uncontested mid-ult to expose you to High Nooon, and 3) McCree is on the high ground and it's short cover - so he may kill you from above it. Hog didn't even duck there until the ult was over, so I don't think he was using the cart on purpose.

It's very bronze/silver. Absolutely no coordination or communication with the team and everyone just wants to get in and get kills. That's why you have a single person on the cart and a hold on the first corner.
The problem with being in bronze and silver is that if you don't play like that, then you're actually the one letting your team down. Try hold high ground and go for higher elo strategies; sure, but now your solo and likely half a point behind your front line where the actions happening.
When it comes to bronze and silver, there is no communication, no coordination and generally speaking everyone is a casual player just wanting to have a bit of fun and get kills. Combined this just means the game becomes a shit show with no major tactical play.
That second paragraph is so accurate it hurts. On the off chance people start high ground, they drop down first chance they can get. If you aren't completely hard-carrying, you have to occasionally dip in and back out of the clusterfuck. It kinda forcefully teaches players bad habits in that way especially if they don't know the concepts (like highground) to begin with.

I have a hard time in silver games. Real talk... Take everything you think you know about the game, and throw it off the cliff... It's madness. Your brain constantly tries to strategize the way interactions are supposed to happen. But it's like lower elo tries to constantly one-up itself in doing the most absurdly opposite thing. If you aren't playing a damage carry to punish the brazen mistakes, you are often having a bad time.
