Paula Dean, I love you! I know you probably won’t read this but, my grandmother used to serve pimento cheese on celery stalks, after she cleaned and cut them down of course. I haven’t found the right recipe yet that tastes like hers but, this one looks like it! She used cream cheese, I know that. It was always on a celery tray on her Thanksgiving and Christmas table. It was my favorite but the recipe went with her when she passed. Thank you so much for doing this for us during this crazy mess we’re all in! I’m alone. My husband passed almost 2 years ago from cancer at 60 years old. My children are all in different states and my mother too. I only get to see my children 2 or 3 times a year and Easter is one of them but, not this year. My daughter is due to have a baby girl in June. She is a pharmacy tech at a clinic so she is essential to work. There will be no baby showers, no helping her after the c-section or rocking my granddaughter like I did all the others. I’m depressed. I was without phone and internet for 7 days last week and nobody around to keep me sane. It was hard but I managed. Sorry this is so long, I just needed to talk. God Bless you and your family and I pray you stay safe! Blessings from Kentucky 🙏🙏🙏
Bless your heart! I've been alone for decades and I'm an elder too. I know what it is like to be alone and lonely. I lost my little Schnauzer dog a month ago but still have a couple of kitties that keep me company. I read some and with this smarter than me cellphone, I listen a lot to utube and I don't watch TV. I just listen pretty much, to a pastor, cooking recipes, animal tutorials and stories. It keeps my mind active and fresh. Gardening time will be here soon and canning fruits and veggies and even meat, is my favorite thing to do. I'm also buying material to build some quilts. Have a few quilt patterns that I'd like to try out. Haven't sewn for 5 or 6 years so we'll see how that goes. Hon, you just need to find something to do with your hands that you enjoy! Time goes quicker than you think and you have something you'll be proud of at the end of the day. I wish you well and don't just sit around in mourning for yourself. If you need a little help, your doctor can help you. Do some gardening, plant flowers and get outdoors. I promise you will feel better! God be with you and hold you up. Stay Well! We are all in this together. You aren't alone.
I feel like I’m there and the realness beats a tv show any day. Eddie makes it look professional, he’s calm and smooth. He gets close shots too. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this and I think it might even be safe to say that you looked like you were having a great time. We need you back and can't wait for possibly more.
Ms. Paula , can’t express how happy and excited I am to see your quarantine videos . Uncertain times - lots of worry and a sense of loneliness and then for a few minutes you help to fill a void . I love that saying that you mentioned (about the creek not rising). You don't hear that saying often. ♥️😀🤗 Hope you're staying safe out there Ms. Judy Oger. 😀♥️🤗
I get it. My husband absolutely loves chicken salad, tuna salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, and good ole coleslaw. And one dinky little jar of mayo doesn't go far in a salad eating house. We also do green salad too to mix things up and add variety and veggies. So you need one or two back up jars of mayo, or three if you're that worried about going without! lol
Hello from Wisconsin!! I feel a bit out of place among all you southern ladies. 😉. Living in Wisconsin, I’ve never had pimento cheese or ever even heard of cracker salad! So glad I have you to share these times with. Keep these videos coming please! My Mom was born in Dalton, Georgia and my Dad in Brooklyn, New York. Pimento cheese was a staple in our home. Being from the South myself, pimiento cheese sandwiches have always been a staple right along with peach cobbler, boiled peanuts, grits and fresh cooked biscuits. Pimiento cheese sandwiches have always been the first thing I look for at every gathering. With all that said though everyone knows that Dukes mayo is the number one pick in the South 🙂. love this recipe Paula and always love watching an artist such as yourself put together masterpieces is the Kitchen.
My family is Southern so I do feel like I am sitting on a stool with my family watching them cook! Your making me hungry!! and everything is so easy to make and remember the recipe. Thank you!
Thank you Paula for doing the Quarantine Cooking! My Mom's pimiento cheese was excellent and I never watched her make it. I appreciate you coming out of retirement to keep us entertained.
Go back and watch old videos of her cooking on the food network and almost every recipe of hers calls for mayo and or butter. That is why here a couple of years ago she was recently diagnosed as diabetic and so she changed all her recipes even the ones that are made in her restaurants.
Oh my, this looks so good that I want to combine it with the cracker salad from yesterday and have crackers and cheese salad! These old favorites bring back happy memories of goodies my mother made for us as an after school snack. Thank you Paula!
I feel like I'm right there with y'all! It's December now and this quarantine life can get to ya. But... finding this today has made my day. I've already called my sweet Momma so she can watch. Thank you!!
Oh, oh my goodness. I so look forward in the morning when I get up, here in Nevada, to seeing I “have a video”. Been on self quarantine for almost 3 weeks. A bright spot in my day. Made the cracker salad yesterday, amazing. Haven’t made pimento cheese in quite awhile, but have all the ingredients, gonna make it this afternoon. I’ve been watching Alton videos too. So refreshing to see you guys on you tube not stuffy food network. Thank you Paula. You are so loved.
You are my hero. Hellman’s Mayonnaise and Butter. I thought I was listening to myself. And yes the cream cheese. I called that my party pimento cheese. Also add it to my tuna for party tuna salad. Love your cooking.
Thank you again Paula for allowing us into your home and sharing this delicious recipe. Also, a BIG THANK YOU for helping me and my wife get through our Self Isolation! God bless you!
This is the best base for a grilled cheese and whatever else you want to put in it sandwich! Love and miss you lady! Wrastling! 🤣🤗 P.s. I made sure I had at least two jars of mayonnaise. One of them is a big Costco jar so I think I’m gonna be all right for a little bit.
I made this for the first time ever and I am hooked! This recipe is amazing! Thank you Paula for sharing it and I can't wait to make your grape salad tomorrow! YUM! I love watching your videos! I have been writing down so many of your recipes and I can't wait to try them all. My favorite recipe is your chicken and rice recipe, and our 4 sons always loved it when I made it, so I always have Pimentos in my pantry too.
Paula, Paula, Paula! You converted me! I always hated rolling out biscuits until I saw you rolling them out in a kitchen towel! Omg! I’m sold! Sunday I whipped up biscuits and my hubby of 33 years looked shocked and asked me where on earth I saw that! I said PAULA DEEN! You rock girlfriend!❤️.
I just love you Paula! I make so many of your recipes and have NEVER had any complaints!! My family always loves a recipe that came from you. Thanks for the videos!
We love you here in East Tennessee Ms. Paula!! Your sweet laugh just made my Good Friday and I smiled ear to ear!! Cooking like a mad woman here, and so thankful for your mouth watering recipes!! Blessings & Health!!
I’m so glad you’re doing these videos. It helps my feelings so much when life is so crazy now. I’ve been missing seeing you. You all take good care of yourselves.
I love pimento cheese. My mom taught me to make it with miracle whip for the extra zing...sharp cheddar and lots of white onion shredded for the extra heat to offset the sweetness of the peppers. She loved it warmed up til the cheese started to melt when she was pregnant with me. Must be the reason I love it so much.
You are awesome! Also, bringing that woman to your home saved a lot more than just her life. It saved PPE at hospitals, a Physicians time, and probably a ventilator.
As long as I have some home made pimento cheese and some hot fluffy home made biscuits all is right in my world. Seeing Mizz Paula is just icing on the cake!
I had no idea that making Pimento Cheese would be that easy using such simple cheese ingredients. Thanks so much for showing us your talents in the kitchen. You make it all look so simple too and mighty tasty! and Yes, I have large jars of Pimento on hand for cooking. I make a Polish Potato dish called Pocatella Potatoes that call for Pimento in the dish. YUMMO!
I just have to say, having an abundance of what you use and need , is not hoarding it is being prepared. Never explain or apologize to those that are not.

Tennessee folks love pimiento cheese. I always add sugar to mine! I keep pimientos in the cabinet. Add a jar, juice and all to a package of Stouffers dried chipped beef in cream sauce. Found in the frozen food section. Delicious over buttered and toasted bread.
Paula, My daughter sent me this link to watch your channel. I’m so glad she did because I sure have missed your joyful personality. In fact, my whole family loves you and we have every cookbook you have written. Thank you for being you and doing these videos!
I was able to take a trip to Savannah with my parents in January. They took me to The Lady and Sons restaurant. The food was so very good. They have been going to your restaurant for years and rave over the food each time they return. It was so wonderful to finally get to see what it was like for myself and now I get to rave over the food, too. Thanks for making these videos Miss Paula. I have been a fan of yours for so long. It's good to see you doing well and still enjoying yourself in the kitchen. Thanks for allowing me to fill my time at home cooking with you. Stay well.

Dear Paula, I’m such a fan from the very beginning when you knocked on doors w Gordon Elliott to make a meal from whatever anybody had in their refrigerator. I loved you then and you were by far my favorite on the Food Network. I was never the same when I lost track of you after the FN days. Now I’m thrilled to have you back again in YOUR kitchen and on my RUclips channel every day as many times as I want to choose one show after the other. Your laughter brightens my day and your “Best Dishes” are better than they’ve ever been. Thank you for bringing us so much joy and pleasure as we watch you entertain us by sharing ALL that goes along with the Paula we’ve always loved. Please, please keep filming after this quarantine is over!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey Paula girl, I'm surprised to see you using Hellmans mayo and not Dukes. I'm a Hellmans girl as well. I thought all Southern cooks used Dukes. I'm in New Jersey and we can only Hellmans. I ordered Dukes from Amazon and gave it a B+. It's so great to have you sharing again. Thank you and God bless!
Paula, I thank you thank you thank you for your videos, I absolutely love & miss you! I hope you continue these videos even after all is done ❤️ p.s. I hope your aunt is ok 👌 well wish’s to you all.
My Mama was born and raised in the Brunswick area (Waynesville, GA, to be specific). We were raised on pimento cheese! I do not consider myself a "purist" by any means...but Mama's recipe was soooo simple, I never saw a need to "doctor it up." I use whatever cheeses I have on hand...sharp or extra sharp cheddar, jack...basically whatever makes you happy. Other than that, it's mayo, salt, pepper. And that's it. Everyone loves it! :) I saw Vivian Howard recommend Duke's, so I tried it. I prefer Blue Plate with olive oil. Never been a Hellman's fan.
Pimento cheese is another of those funny "Southern" staples that was invented in New York but sort of fell out of favor in the North while being embraced throughout the South. I wish more Northerners still ate it because now I want me some.
Some do. My mom was from northwest indiana. Of course my mom uses miracle whip and shedded sharp cheddar and white onion and pimento. That's it. Nothing else. No other seasoning. It's delicious.
I never knew pimento cheese was just a southern thing until I wanted to make it for my sons. No one knew what I was talking about. I've lived in the suburbs of Philadelphia for 20 yrs. But I'm originally from Arkansas. My sons absolutely love it!
Enjoying these shows so much! Tennessee had a mild winter & we’ve been having trouble with ticks already & can’t spray cause it rains so much; gonna be a rough summer with bugs, snakes & rodents!!!! Would love for you to do Stuffed Peppers.
Hearing that unique laughter of yours makes me so happy🤗 missed you so much thanks for keeping it real and opening your house to us God bless you and your family☎️

I found a delicious way to use pimento cheese. This is how u do it when u make yeast rolls leave the rolls in a jumbo muffin tin to rise then right before u pop them in the oven add a small spoonful of the pimento on the top of them and bake. They come out absolutely delicious.
How about something really good!! A perhaps new trifle or dessert with pastry 'custard' cream :-) Comfort foods we need now...that are easy to make...Bite size too?? hors de...Savory or sweet and unheard of, vintage recipes!! I've always loved you Paula. You did no wrong in my eyes. Shame on them.
Thank you, Mrs. Paula! It’s SO good to see a familiar face who sounds just like my Mama did, cooking things that she would have made. The virus might have gotten us down, but we’re southerners, and we’re not out! I could barely breathe last week, but there I was making the soups we needed to keep our strength up. 4:30: "This recipe calls for 1/3 cup of mayonnaise". Proceeds to add 2 entire containers LOL. I love her! And I love mayo!
😂👍
I was jealous of her mayonnaise stash.😂
Go back and watch old videos of her cooking on the food network and almost every recipe of hers calls for mayo and or butter. That is why here a couple of years ago she was recently diagnosed as diabetic and so she changed all her recipes even the ones that are made in her restaurants.
I’m a Dukes mayonnaise girl myself! 😂. Love you Paula! ❤️
Always Duke's for me.
Thank you!!
Thank you Paula for keeping us company.
Love you Paula. It warms my heart to see how much you love your Aunt and how you are taking care of her. Can’t wait to make this.
Thank you so much, Paula. I'm really enjoying this. And pimiento cheese is one of my favorites.
Nice to see thst you’re still at always lived watching you and your family keep the recipes coming
Back to basics Paula Dean!👏🏻🥰 This is your real calling! My favorite kind of Paula. Simple, warm and cozy! Totally off the cuff! You just made my day!
Hello, how are you doing ?
Oh, oh my goodness. I so look forward in the morning when I get up, here in Nevada, to seeing I “have a video”. Been on self quarantine for almost 3 weeks. A bright spot in my day. Made the cracker salad yesterday, amazing. Haven’t made pimento cheese in quite awhile, but have all the ingredients, gonna make it this afternoon. I’ve been watching Alton videos too. So refreshing to see you guys on you tube not stuffy food network. Thank you Paula. You are so loved.
This "Lock Down" from doing and going, has brought back TV programs iv not watched in a very long time. Especially Cooking shows!! Love it😍
This was a fun idea, “like you’re sitting in my kitchen”. Loved the recipe! I’m going to make this for my family this week!
I feel like I'm sitting in your kitchen with you! Loving this so much. Thank you Paula!!
Loved this!!! Miss your shows.
So happy to see this lovely lady again. Paula Dean is back y'all ❤️
I ve shared this with all my sisters.
You are my hero. Hellman’s Mayonnaise and Butter. I thought I was listening to myself. And yes the cream cheese. I called that my party pimento cheese. Also add it to my tuna for party tuna salad. Love your cooking.
"A thousand hundred times" We love you Paula!
Wrastling! 🤣🤗
I'd love to be under house arrest in your home!❤❤❤
Paula, Paula, Paula! You converted me! I always hated rolling out biscuits until I saw you rolling them out in a kitchen towel! Omg! I’m sold! Sunday I whipped up biscuits and my hubby of 33 years looked shocked and asked me where on earth I saw that! I said PAULA DEEN! You rock girlfriend!❤️.
Jodi Jarvis sweet story
And I got stuff for cracker salad in my fridge! I'm so glad Aunt Peggy is there with you..... oh hug her for me❤
You are awesome!
YUMMO!
How happy I am to see you on RUclips !! 💕 I too HAVE to have the Mayo and real butter in stock.🍽🤗
Yes it is.
I just have to say, having an abundance of what you use and need , is not hoarding it is being prepared.
Never explain or apologize to those that are not.
OMGsh I miss the "butter Queen"& I love u being a mayonnaise hoarder😂😂😂gosh I really miss ur "company" every day bc u have gotten me out of so many bad days..just really miss you and I pray one day I'll get to come from florida and visit one of ur restaurants✌🏻🧡🙏🏻🥰
Oh Lordy,, love love pimento cheese!!! My Momma made this ever since I was a little girl! I'm 67 now.😊
I enjoyed this soooo much!! Thank you! You’re a wonderful, beautiful lady!
Thank you from a grandma who is all on her own during this time you made my day! I don’t cook as to much work for one but this looks doable.
Stay well.
Just moved to Georgia Paula and grew up with your show, this is awesome! Our neighbors got us hooked on this cheese! And Ohioans are missing out! Love you! ❤️❤️❤️
😂🤣 I just shared this on my FB page and said, "I want to be quarantined at Paula Deen's house!"
yes-not brooke shields childhood-give us food 2
I am a Hellmans girl too & from the south.
Me too! Love Hellmans mayo!
Kentucky girl and hellman's is my go to!
Blueplate only in my house! Memphis , Tn. Gal!
Hellman's...not!! Only Dukes. Grew up on Krafts because the world was round.
My 92 yr young Momma watched this with me & guess what she had for lunch?! 💖 WE LOVE MS. PAULA
So glad she’s back! Love her!
Haha I love 💕 it! Mayonnaise and butter hoarder!
How long does this keep in the fridge? And is there a way to store it for long term such as canning or freezing?
Hearing that unique laughter of yours makes me so happy🤗 missed you so much thanks for keeping it real and opening your house to us God bless you and your family☎️
My husband wanted me to learn how to make this!!! Thank you. Many many more videos. Please!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love you
Love this! Thanks for uploading!
I LOVE that you're so authentic and real! You make me feel like I'm right there w/ you and you're talking to me! Thanks for the amazing recipes and fantastic entertainment! I'm glad that your Auntie is there safe w/ y'all! Stay safe, healthy, and thanks for these video's! 🤗💛
Miss paula your fantastic just get ride of the gloves forget the food police your not cooking for them
I found a delicious way to use pimento cheese.
Oh I'm so glad I got this recipe I'm so happy my grandma used to make it and I'm 62 years old thank you so much
Oh how I've missed that laugh ❤
Thank you, Mrs. Paula! It’s SO good to see a familiar face who sounds just like my Mama did, cooking things that she would have made. The virus might have gotten us down, but we’re southerners, and we’re not out! I could barely breathe last week, but there I was making the soups we needed to keep our strength up. People my age were confused, but I was raised “old Texas,” and when Mama is sick, she’s still cooking! LOL Feeling MUCH better this week, and am ready to start making good Easter dishes, and spring favorites!
Love you Paula! I work during the week but I watch all weekend since I can’t go anywhere.🥰 trying to decide what I should make this week. Too many delicious choices 🤣
This video was just what my soul needed on this beautiful day cooped up inside the house.
Mrs. Paula I wish you would do your whoopie pie recipe.
I agree....I love those things....
My mom and I would watch Paula while talking on the phone together. We lost her in 2006 and I miss her so much. She would absolutely LOVE these wonderful recipes!
