    Nice first look! Love your enthusiasm and natural style. I’m test driving the new Countryman S here in Michigan in 3 days time. Can’t wait to see it in the metal! I had a 1964 Miini when I lived in London in the mid 1980s. I may be going back to a new MINI next week!

    Mini crushed it! i really dig the updated JCW Countryman!

    It looks very intriguing! I know some folks are going to complain about changes, but if those changes make it a better car I'm all for it. Thanks for sharing!

    That interior is hideous. I was looking to get one and thought I’d wait for the ‘24. But I’m hoping I can find a new ‘23 now.

      The S will still be super cool. I plan on getting one of those myself

    Definitely way less polarizing than the 2 door electric (J01) - I have much less "issues" with this than I do the 2 door - the two things I cannot get past in the other model is 1) it's made in China - at least this one is made in Germany - still not as good as Oxford but okay. and 2) those tail lights - I just can't see getting used to the rear end design for a while yet. Although I will say the F66 in JCW trim is starting to grow on me (like a fungus). Just glad I have a '24 F56 JCW inbound now (on the boat in fact) - we have some time to get used to the new styling and cars in general....

    Is that dash fabric customizable? I'm not a huge fan of the red lines. A plain black would be nice

    • @TheMINIVlog
      @TheMINIVlog  Год назад +2

      There will be several options for the dash fabric. This one is specific to the JCW.

    I love it!!!! It’s one sharp Mini!! The red roof really pops! When are you going to buy one, hahaha 🤪. You had a great trip over seas, what fun to go over there and hang out and see the electric models.

    I can see some design influence from Velar especially from the rear, there's just something that whispers range rover

  • @fexcontracting1
    @fexcontracting1 Год назад +2

    Yikes! Do NOT care for this at all. Please do not ruin the Mini brand. Add new models if you want and see if they are popular BEFORE you eliminate the good stuff. This seems like the "new" Coke rollout back in the 1980's.

    • @TheMINIVlog

      To the current gen.... It's def longer. A tad taller but that's not as noticeable as the length

    • @Scotty_in_Ohio
      @Scotty_in_Ohio Год назад

      Single digit inches in all directions - I think the biggest increase is in overall length. It looks / feels smaller than the X1 from what I've been told.

    I was not "feeling it" when I first saw pictures but the more I see it (in JCW trim) the more I'm liking it... Still not going to trade ANY of my Minis for one (just yet, especially not my F54) but who knows possibly when the time comes our R60 S (2013 with super low miles) might have a new owner in a year or two...
