For you guys asking, anything with ANYTHING raised above the center dip of your rails you'll have to cut into the body to fit it. Injora has a prefixial transmission that is supposed to go with this to allow it to sit flat on the frame rails.
I used magnetic mounts like you then I opened up the box in the back and used magnets on the lid then drilled holes for body posts. so I can clip the body down then put the lid back on and they can’t be seen
I got one. Next thing you know I’ve cut the interior out, dropped the bed, made it a pick-up(aka Scrambler), cut the hood out, etc. Fun with hard bodies and styrene 😂 Playing with the Comanche now. Just a good interior for it. No doors or hood mods.
Tips. First thing that will break is the roll bar. Reinforce however you can. Put small bar magnets to keep doors closed. For body mounting, put magnets up front on the posts. In the rear unbolt the box, find some hex bolts that will thread into the post holes on the chassis and drill holes in the body to accommodate. Don't worry the box will cover the bolts up. For the box, modify to cover hex bolt heads, put magnets on the inside bottom of box and align with magnets underneath the body. Use magnets to close the box lid to make the container useful. I carry a hex key in it for body removal. Good place for spare parts as well. I also used model paint to paint the body details.
I put that body on an SCX10-3. Mounting was tricky. Had to get creative. I wanted a solid connection to the chassis so i ended up with 2 holes in the bed. I used the box in the bed for a 2200 3s battery so batt swap can happen without removing the body. Makes a great trail truck.
I have an SCX10.3 as well, I'm scared to buy this if this is not a direct fit for that chassis. What moda did you do? Did you remove a lot of orginal parts from the chassis? TIA.
Thanks!! Now I want to try my kit that has been sitting for a year and a half, with even worse directions and twice the parts, hope it comes out like yours🤞
Glad to see you pumping out videos ! We enjoy your content! You are your own person, laid back relaxed, don't feel like your overly trying to impress RUclips just doing your thing ! Love it ! :)
Great vid! I’d like to see a video how to mount on different chassis like TRX4, SCX10’s etc. Also I’d like to see some mods on how to make snap mounts similar to TRX4s instead of magnets for both hard and lean bodies. And one with a hinge like SCXs in the rear and snaps in the front.
a gob of shoe goo where the top of the roll bar sets into the ball socket will keep it from popping out. I also use a small dab on the doors so they don't pop open when you are driving. you are right the directions are vague at best
Got same body on SCX10ii, had to cut out a lot of the interior, and its still kinda high woth class 1 tires. Want to make a class 1 rig out of it, probably wont be competitive with the high COG, but its what I have.
If you haven't figured it out yet, that body will scratch super easy. It's got a single layer of paint with no primer under it. Also, a nice little hack is to cut the screw tabs inside the rear box and put magnets there to make the box functional. Last, if you're interested in seeing the 1/1 truck, look up the DV8 JKU Truck
Hey Joe. Thanks for the video. Again, I’m just not an injora guy. The final product looks ok but the lack of instructions and Qc is why I do not do injora. Not to mention the fact that they’re siphoning business away from the real products
Thanks for the video! Injora makes some nice hard bodies - I have the Cherokee version and mounted it to that same Injora chassis. I used magnets to mount it (couldn't bring myself to drill holes in that nice body!)
I have the big four door version and it weights 800gram. But the most of the weight is low in the body. Like 70% low because of the interior, floor and seats.
I'm running the same body (orange color) on a 10.2. I drilled all the way through the top roll bar and mount on each side and installed a m2 bolt with nut and loctite, the roll bars would pop out during a roll over plus I carry it by those bars on occasion. I designed and 3d printed a rear hinge and front magnet mount system for mine, I still have the .stl if you are interested. There is a video on my channel running it here on the Oregon coast if you care to see it in action.
I built a injora blue jk body a few years back it was no that difficult but the instructions do suck But yours looks great mine was just the full top version
That's a killer idea Roosevelt them pins down so it don't come apart that way you don't have to use glue because they say flu could be hard on plastic anyway I don't believe them I've used two million times great job Joe in your hilarious
That body has been in my shopping cart for a few weeks now but I am holding myself back because I don’t wanna ruin it and I only have one crawler so I can see myself giving it some abuse.
@@ExocagedRC Lol. Hey, whatever works! I did the Injora half cab with cage hardbody build and it took me a while to build. I used hot glue just about everywhere. It didn't "click" together like this body did. I did however like that they included mounting tabs to mount at the front of the chassis and back of the chassis. Did this one not come with the mounting tabs?
Ohhhh, anyone else surprised Injora hasn't received a cease and desist order from Chrysler yet? I see 7 slots in that grill. They just did that to FMS (I believe) for putting out a Jeep like body with 7 slots.
if you do another body like this. a little heat will make it easier to get things to fit. like a quick go over with a hairdryer to warn up the plastic and things should go in easier
Don't glue the back side of the bits n bobs, use a soldering iron or wood burner to melt the points down just a little
Done the same thing.

Seen these on ali express and was curious so thankyou for taking us through the build. Keep up the great work 👍

Looks freaking sweet Joe great videos for the second day of freedom from the daily keep'em coming Sir.
I’m working it buddy! Working on a Reefs 800lp video now

Inzora hard body is of very high quality. If you paint the real car, it becomes a nice body.👍👍👍

Pretty cool to see any new body options for 1/10 scale, especially hardbody options. Thanks for the video.
Great vid!

They have a Cherokee body I really want. If I get one of the injora crawler kits I’ll grab the Cherokee hard body as well

I just ordered the cherokee version of these. Going to do a custom paint job with some automotive paint and clear coat hope it holds up in the trails

I just built this same body for my Redcat Gen8 Axe Edition rig.

Thanks for sharing with us. Cool option for sure !
Man, I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on one of these and now I’m certain I’ll get one.
Excellent tutorial video. That is a really good looking trail truck....have fun with it!!
Just wondering how much weight that will add? I like it!👍😁😎✌️

any chance you'd drop the stl in thingiverse or some other repository? I'd love to take a peek and see if I can adapt it to my old scx10.1!
Super cool body and chassis. Can't wait to see it on the rocks
I was looking at this for a c1 build but I ended up going with the tamiya toyota tundra body.
I built a injora blue jk body a few years back it was no that difficult but the instructions do suck
But yours looks great mine was just the full top version
I’m about to build this for my son lol he’s been picking the parts and I was going to use the 313 base lol
I wish there were bodies that would fit trx4 K10 high trail edition.
This truck looks great. I like the chassis and body.
Great product review. I definitely want one now.
Best video on this body! I am really considering getting one after watching this video for about the 12th time haha.
Could you show how to mount on a axial basecamp?
I reckon that shell with a few 3d printed parts would look very realistic.
I have two in the one door I jofa bodies I plan do make simply because I own a Tj Im planning on the Injora chassis to cut and fit to it
Nice rig. Now you need a trailer to pull your crawler to the event.
Looks good would you consider it for a c1 body or is it going to fall apart?
Thats really nice Joe. We have a trail crawler here in the UK with the exact same bodyshell, its called the Ftx Fury 2.0. 👍
The Fury is only "Lexan".
I wonder if this would fit a trx4 or scx10 I'd love to run this body always a fan of jeep
Just ordered the olive two days ago
hey my friend thats a nice hard body i think an it will make a nice crawler thanks as always for another video
That's a killer idea Roosevelt them pins down so it don't come apart that way you don't have to use glue because they say flu could be hard on plastic anyway I don't believe them I've used two million times great job Joe in your hilarious
Nice I like it ...great editing 💯👍
Liking the scale rigs!
This body is what I'm using for axialfest badlands concourse. I glued and filled the back doors so they are not there
This was what I asking you last night in the live stream. Will it fit the Vanquish Phoenix ? I’ll cut stuff if I have to
Hallo,
Welche Reifengröße hast du in dem Video?
Ich möchte es für 120mm x 45mm benutzen.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Lets see it on the scx10 pro
Happy second day my friend
i have a yello one and is veri nice😎
That body has been in my shopping cart for a few weeks now but I am holding myself back because I don’t wanna ruin it and I only have one crawler so I can see myself giving it some abuse.
Forgot the most important step. mounting it to the chassis lol
Yeah….I’m working on that. LoL. Possibly the hardest part but I’ll use magnets and glue. 😂

@@ExocagedRC PLEASE POST A VIDEO...WONDERKNG IF I CAN REPLACE A TRX4 BLAZER BODY WITH THIS. ANY INFK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.💯
Can u remove the paint and repaint other color on the body?will sand paper destroy the body?
I honestly don’t know. I think it’s just a coating on there.
Looky there it snaps together like real cars these days haha
How strong are they?
Ohhhh, anyone else surprised Injora hasn't received a cease and desist order from Chrysler yet? I see 7 slots in that grill. They just did that to FMS (I believe) for putting out a Jeep like body with 7 slots.
EXO~~!!! 👊😎👍
Realy nice film👌
Great vid!!!!!!
Awesome. Creaky
Very nice, I'm a Jeep guy
Me to I have the two door been meaning get it on a GCM skeleton chassis 😊
Looks sweet, but I don't think I'd get one because the build seems like a pain ha
The instructions are so bad.
Nice but soldering iron works great for the bits
Getting mounted is going to be the hard part.
You forgot the one one part, boom there it is 😅
Did you see that GSpeed is launching the V2 Class 1!?
there isnt a 4 door version is there
Not too sure why you call screws bolts?
I enjoyed it
I like it
Thats actually super nice
Light kit makes it look so scale
👍🇨🇦🤠
i prefer leather seats ....
These body’s are great if you put trim some of the fat off 👌🏽
Too bad they didn’t make a fold down windshield like a real jeep
Sir, those are screws. Not bolts.
They could be Rivets
Put some hair around it!
Yes the instructions is bad. And some assembly could use changed but still not bad.
a jeep. not a truck.
Just plain common sense is needed... Everything goes were it should
