    Great job. You don´t see that version so often. I especially like the battery box.

      @@oddsandendsrc I do have a question. Where can I get the servo mount you have. Was there anything different you had to do with the pan hard setup

      @@RcHobbySteve look for a scx10 iii front mount servo bracket, arount 10-15 bucks on eBay or Amazon. I go over the new panhard mount in the video, I made one, but club 5 sells the servo mount and the panhard mount together if you want to do that.

      @@oddsandendsrc ok cool. I’ll look into the club 5 one. I’m making a long list of parts I want to get when I buy the kit.

    Just got my first 1/10 scale. scx10.2 and it came with this body (in Orange). Previous owner cut out the entire interior to accommodate the 10.2 transmission. I am currently dealing with tire rub, and facing the need to bring the front axle forward. Thank you for your informational video! Any help on how to bring that axle forward is appreciated.

      If you could slide the body backwards and center the front wheel and the front wheel well, then you could just extend the rear 4 links with longer ones to Center the rear axle in the rear wheel well. Trying to extend the front axle turns into a lot of complications and geometry issues with the suspension.

    The jeep “Brute” by American expedition vehicles is the real life version.
    Also, I have an Scx10 chassis with injora portal axles and the wheelbase is too short. Is it fairly easy to extend the wheelbase to make this work? It looks like I’ll have to move the rear shock towers back further as well

    • @oddsandendsrc
      @oddsandendsrc  Год назад

      If you are using the original SCX10 chassis, it will be hard to get that to work with that transmission because you will have to do a lot of cutting. All you have to do to extend the wheelbase is to put longer links on the rear

      @@oddsandendsrc Well, once i get the trans mounted i'll either trim, or purchase a LCG transmission.
      Have you found many accessories specific to this body? I have found lighted mirrors that integrate well. Injora has some tubular doors that i believe would work as well.

      I dont know how long the original links were, I bought this 10.3 chassis used with no axles or links. I ended up with 90mm links on the bottom front and a 85mm link on the top front. I used the rc4wd medium length rod ends with those. I bought the yeah racing 6mm links off of ebay. If you run a bigger tire than I did, (105mm) you will need to extend it further.

    hard to compare lexan and hardbody that way.

      I enjoy building both, but this is a decent deal for a prepainted body.
