That body is absolutely stunning and worth every penny! The build quality and detailing is amazing (use a pin vise for that bit) and it went together perfectly! Basically, a scale model body for an RC chassis. Best of all, the possibilities for painting and weathering are endless. Just a superb build! 👍
Having built 3 of these boom racing land rovers and I am building a 4th at the moment it's alway easier to paint it all before you start putting it together otherwise you will end up taking it all back apart
the most impressive thing about this rover is the detail that went into the interior of this thing! Usually I ditch the interiors on other builds as they are not appealing and dead weight. Here its worth to have it, it looks amazing. Definitely wanna color this bad boy, Use airbrush to do so. Or simply get a fine paint brush and hand paint it!
If you have a shock piston hole drilling kit, they come with a small hand drill driver with the kit. The kit is only like $15 if I remember correctly, and comes with a ton of different size small bits and the driver
Liked the videos. I agree not painting this was a mistake, I was thinking that all the time you were building the body. It doesn't have to be hard, get Tamiya spray paint in a couple colors and spray the light pieces one and the dark pieces another (black and tan perhaps). Just lightly mist over from a distance. Let it dry. Keep doing until you have good coverage. It should go together just fine.
I had same problem drilling something on 24th scale, I put small peice of tape around the end of bit and than put it into the drill. Not pretty but works.
Seems like a lot of work putting it together before paint! Looks awesome though!👍👍😁😎✌️ You could always wrap tape around your drill bit to make it a larger diameter!
Put some tape around the drill bit to make it fit the chuck might get enough grip to work or find some small plastic tube to fit build videos are cool 😎
im not the best at painting but a while ago i stripped apart one of those hard body Chinese hummers (HG406) it also has alot of those tiny screws, ive had no problems with putting it back together even after painting it for the 3rd time (im very indecisive)
I know it's too late now but Dremel has a bit holder that works with the tiniest of drill bits. It's much easier to handle than a screw gun especially in tight spaces. 🤓
Amazing detail, I don't know how they do it for the price when you consider other (same price) R/C's. Just a small thing, don't you own a Dremel or some other rotary tool? That would take the 0.8 drill. Can't wait until I build my Toyota version, thanks for showing me these amazing quality vehicles. Will you be fitting lights?
You say that painting it would give you problems. I say you should have painted it, exterior and interior. It would have turned out beautifully, and you wouldn't have had any problems. What a shame

Boom racing products are so well thought out and put together

Paint can come in later, always look at land rover magizines of color to choose from, don't for get frog tape, when you painted.😉
The Brx02 Landrover Series III is awesome! We have so much interest.
Take some black electrical tape and wrap it around the end of that small drill bit until it will chuck up into ur drill👍super cool body
Get you some vinyl and put on the sides. I did some digital camo on an FMS jimmy. Changed the whole vehicle.

You're CLEARLY a RTR kinda guy. Nothing wrong with that. You do you.
Nice build reminded me of when I built my deaild body
Thank you for doing this..
Great looking body Joe. Can’t wait to see it climbing stuff 💯
😁👍

Love the look and it looks great

You need to get yourself a set of pin vises,or even a carb cleaning kit works great, it comes with a bunch of very small and even tiny bits .
I always used torch tip cleaner for carbs

Hi just letting you know you installed the vent flaps the wrong way round.
Nice 👍
I ordered under your channel , do we still get points , how do you you not have 5/16 stat std drill bit set for your screwdriver lol😂
Real Series 3 doors don't close that well! 😂😂
Lovely model, unfortunately a bit out my price range 😢
I'm still want this Boom Racing BRX02 the universal, because I going to use lexan body, something less heavy, my will not be queen shell😅😅
I prefer hot glue. High bond.
Maybe this model has more pieces than the real car...😂

What a shame
All the time u been doing rc, & no pin vise?😵💫🤪🤯
I keep reading ? What is a pin vice lol
Yep. Pin vise with a 0-1/8" chuck.
