  • In this tutorial on how to set up Bots and Nav Mesh in halo infinite,
    With the release of halo infinite, they released Multiplayer Bots, and then in the forge, they release the tool kit called Nav Mesh (which is how the Bots navigate the world.
    Most commands to add a bot is simple, such as 'on player exit' or if the team does not equal the correct about of players, etc....
    But Spawning bots don't make them work on your map, for that you need to spawn in a Nav Mesh (which is worked out Server end) and you are also given some tools to guide the nav mesh generator to make it do what you what it too!

    Another good video I haven't messed with nav mesh at all and just made a BTB map which seems essential to have bots on to keep players in the game without leaving

    This helps a great deal. Thank You.
    One thing though. Players should ALWAYS save and then backup their maps BEFORE telling it to create a Nav Mesh.
    This is because Halo Infinite is notorious with crashing and corrupting files. Especially if you have a detailed, large, or large and detailed map. I learned this the hard way.
    Depending on the size and details if your map, it can take up to a halo hour or more for the Nav Mesh to do it's job. So be patient.
    Now I need just as good a tutorial for spline movement, cinematic animations, and how to get invisible teleporters to accept vehicles.

    Hello, would you be able to make a tutorial on how to make players spawn inside vehicles like with Sumo or Race maps? I would appreciate this! As well, if you could explain how it works and how to adjust settings etc. Thank you so much for your help!

    This makes a lot of sense, I was wondering however if you have any advice on big maps. I have a massive map that I built before I knew about nav meshes and feel like I wasted so much time due to the dedicated server crashing everytime I try to build it. And that is with me using nave cutters to limit it to very specific locations.

    Can you do a troubleshooting for when nav mesh fails, i feel like when i just have a grasp but now my desgin in the sky not touching the ground and used to generate the mesh is now failing

    No matter what I do I can't get a jump hint to work. They seem very finicky... My two points are intersecting, I've made it large enough, tried rotating it, everything. It just doesn't want to generate the arrow.

    I just need my ai to spawn on top of my floor, my platform is fixed and so is my spawner, but they still spawn under my floor and onto the map beneath.
    Edit: generate nav mesh

    Pls show how to remove bots from areas & then have them replaced automatically. My bots won't go into vents or jump over things -- so I'm trying to problem solve that.
    I can't figure out how to teleport bots out of the vents w/0 effecting players, so I have them removed but now can't get them back in the match

    If the nav seed doesnt create a blue overlay does that mean your map is no good?

      you are correct, make sure that the nav seed is 'Snapped to ground' for it to generate!

    Hope you can help me bud :) ok I want the AI phantom spawner to to spawn every 300 seconds ( that's 5 Mins.) In the object browser/Spawn logic: I have it to reference script selected. Delay set to zero. The max delay is 100 seconds in that section. So I am trying to have the phantom to respawn every 5 mins. It can't get it to work. here is what I set up in the node graph:
    1. On game start
    2. wait for 10 seconds ( for testing only )
    3. Trigger IA Spawner
    4: Phantom is my Object Spawner. connected to AI Trigger spawner node ) ( yes I have a script brain next to Phantom in map )
    Still can't get the AI Phantom to spawn at all. Can you help? Thanks :(
