- In this tutorial on how to script player traits in halo infinite,
halo infinite's forge currently, has a lot of traits to place on players such as bonus shields or infinite ammo, but it's not so simple as just saying "give all players" infinite health (which can be done in the game mode editor) but what if you want to modify all these for a certain group of players or a single player, we require a bit of logic do deal with this!

legend just liked and subscribed i hope you make more and more complex the more i use and do this the more ill get the memory of it/ i dont know if you do requests but in halo 5 i loved puzzle maps and it was so simple to go into a block and script it to despawn once a invisible target was shot allowing for secret doors or to make any block "breakable" since youre not making it breakable just despawn once hit could you do a guide on how to reference objects and how to apply effects like despawning or changing propertys ect?

@@pengi288 I assume you have no fix for this. But every time I try to name a identifier it keeps saying EMPTY even after I enter a name. Restarting does jack shit forge is broken broken and 343 dosent give a giggling goddamn

How would you script an og power up or like an orb or object that when u walk into it, it gives you 25% shields with respawn timers
Im trying to recreate the H3 shotgun and Im using the bulldog as the base but I want to scale its damage to be in line with H3s damage output but Im having trouble specifically making it for the bulldog and nothing else. This tutorial got me closer but it apllys the damage to all weapons and not just the bulldog. Help is much appreciated! edit: Still trying to get the traits right but its not working.

I just finished a map in forge, but I still don't know how to set a game mode (for example: Slayer) on the map, so that my friends and I can play it, because when we start the map in a custom game, we enter to the map without cinematics and without a game mode, we just enter forge mode and start as monitors or oracles.
Could you please help me with a tutorial for this issue that I have?

I am SUPER novice in this department, but I can help some. I just also made a map and experimenting. You need to have spawn points in the map (initial/respawn/etc.) and make sure you are not trying to do a "custom game" in the forge menu, which sounds like what you may be doing, with you all spawning as monitors. Make sure you go to "custom game" select a mode and select your map from your files.
How do I recharge someone’s shields this way? Lets say if I had the game mode set to not recharge them

Mine just fails to build. This is 10,000 times more complicated than it needs to be. You need thirty collage degrees and ten tons of spaghetti just for infinite ammo and it just won't work.
Whoever created this terrible system, we can never be friends.
