    Thanks a lot buddy! Been wondering plenty of these things and that had me discouraged from forge, but I'm going to create the sickest map y'all ever seen now :3

      Good luck! Hope to see it pop up somewhere! 👀

    Thanks for giving me a good understanding of basic functionality as forge isn't very self-explantory. There were a few good tips that will save me a lot of time. My only feedback would be to check your audio/mic because your levels seem to fluctuate

      Thanks! I'll look into improving it next time I do anything.

    "Original" Forge came with Bungie's Marathon Infinity in the 90s :) I'm pretty sure that isn't the one you mean 😂
    That was when they first released it publicly anyway.
    They also had a tool for editing assets called "Anvil" back then. Fun times, although much more basic tools than what you're showing.

    The concrete floors I’m putting and using sounds like metal when you step on them, how do I fix this?

      Its probably a bug of some kind, Forge isn't in the best place currently.

    I've done a few maps now but is it possible to name certain areas of a forged map? I'm sure I've seen in the past people have got street names etc come up in the corner whilst walking around but I've not figured out how to do it! 😅

    • @KomaBlader
      @KomaBlader  9 месяцев назад +2

      I believe under "Volumes" you have the location name volumes to scale across an area and name it within the Volume's properties.

      @KomaBlader ahh thanks very much 👍🏻 I'll have a look after work later and see if I can do. It's been bugging me for a while so I really appreciate that. I can now tweak my latest map 'wreck it ralph' now that I know! 👍🏻

      Update: I've looked and looked but can't find anything even close sadly. I can't seem to find an option to rename certain parts of a map with text. It's a feature not many people use, but it would be nice to do it if I could figure it out! 😅 thanks for the response though 👍🏻

    Can I edit weapon damage, spread, bullet speed, recoil?

    • @KomaBlader
      @KomaBlader  5 месяцев назад

      By learning the scripting nodes and such, it is possible to edit (as far as I know) weapon damage, but anything else is beyond my knowledge. Sorry that I can't assist in this question.

    Do you have to have Xbox Live to play forge?

    • @KomaBlader
      @KomaBlader  Год назад

      Good question. As far as I am aware, yes. Ever since Halo 5, Forge has been an exclusive online thing to tie it into the file browser. Online is required but I am unsure if you need Xbox Live "Gold," you may need to check and see if Halo Infinite requires the Gold Subscription and that may answer your questions better than I can.

      I can confirm that you do NOT need Gold to play Forge. The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Suite is free to play. Even the PVP mulitplayer.

    Didn’t feel like this was a basic video. Kind of complicated.

      I understand the frustration, but that's just how in-depth Forge has grown to be.

    im not gunna adjust to this forge no thank you

      I tried man, coming from forging a ton in reach, this just feels so user-unfriendly.
      I get there's a lot more you can do with this forge, but it feels like way more work to do stuff I could bang out in 5 mins in reach forge.

    In a video where your verbal direction is the whole point, how could you not fix the audio or re take before uploading? 😭

      @@KomaBladerlol no problem. I’m just currently very intent on getting forge down on this game haha.
      Question. Let’s say I have a wall, and I press both triggers and select the green arrow to extend a side. Is there a way to change the arrow direction and extent the other side of wall?

    • @kylemalfa
      @kylemalfa 6 месяцев назад +1

      the left trigger colored arrows, and the right trigger ball: is there overall a way to changer their locations and or directions on the object? Is that a thing ?

    • @KomaBlader
      @KomaBlader  6 месяцев назад

      It's a bit late (sorry), but under tool settings, you can change the translation from "World" to "Object" this will make it somewhat move off the world grid but you can see what will happen when you rotate the Object say 45°. Additionally, there is also a "camera" choice movement that will be purely based on where your forge monitor's current camera placement is.
