Aye, Ty for the sub, someone who works with alot of arts n digital software, you have your hand always on the save button 😂 cause of things like crashes
yer, Its never easy to get an idea down in practice or even have an idea, for some it comes naturally, others it is that where do I start; I can say myself that I get that blocks a lot, something I didn't cover much in this video as much is making visual/picture boards, basically go around online and search up images of buildings, layouts, other games, and so on and throw it into one big document as a moodboard. might help make that ah-ha moment :)
I really wish infinite forge had a simplified mode that worked like Reach. I used to be able to throw my ideas together easily, and in 5 mins i could have rough concept already built out and ready for testing. Infinite on the other hand feels like so much overcomplex work for just getting started. That's my main problem.
Just sit with it longer. I suck at forge and this was my first main game I played with forge aside from using reach forge once and h5 forge once before. Takes a bit but just keep going, it's really not that complex. If ur on controller my advice is to change ur control scheme from what the default is to either recruit or something else, I don't like the default layout on controller but im mostly using keyboard now.
Reach was fun; for me biggest thing I do honestly miss is the huge forge lobby's you got where you can muck around in. Aside though; halo infinite really has the best forge in terms of pure creative freedom especially now with AI.
I have some ideas for maps, but I can't get them to look right. I can't get the pieces to scale properly, or in perfect position, 1 item will be off and it throws every other piece off. If I could get those down, I'd be golden. The rest, such as decorations, weapon placement, etc will come with time.
Hey!, You mind explaining how you finding it distracting? like you want to see more of the background gameplay or it makes it hard to listen to me talking? the idea of it is it moves when I talk (being im primary a PNGtuber) but I would love to hear feedback :)
@@TheShallowNight I think he's trying to say that it doesn't really need to be right in the middle of the screen. It's pretty simple. It could help if you just scale it down so thats it's in the lower left or right corner of the screen. Since it's kind of hard to listen to what your saying when theres a large wolf on the middle of my screen repeatedly opening and closing it's mouth over the course of 15 minutes.
I think most of us are trying to watch the gameplay and the wolf... well, it feels like it's blocking the screen too much. If you like your wolf that's great, just move it off the center of the screen. Maybe move it to the bottom right or the bottom left quadrant of the video, and leave it there.
I believe that removing the wolf from the video would make it more enjoyable to watch. The wolf is distracting and repetitive, and its placement in the center of the screen is not ideal. I suggest moving it to the upper or lower corner and reducing its size to about 25% of its original size. I understand that this may be a matter of personal preference, but I believe that many viewers would agree with me. Thank you for sharing your informative and insightful perspective on the level design process.
Br you earned my sub by saying don't forget to save. So i did 2 mins later my game crashed and you saved all my progress

You earned my sub just 1 minute into the video. I'd love to see more Forge videos from you.
I'll def do more sooner or later, Im very causal with uploads and burnt out, waiting to see if season 3 fixes forges bugs :)
Very helpful. I always get creative block when starting a new map

I’m trying to make a CTF map it’s mostly finished but, I just feel that it’s really not a map appropriate for CTF.
