Hope you can help me bud :) ok I want the AI phantom spawner to to spawn every 300 seconds ( that's 5 Mins.) In the object browser/Spawn logic: I have it to reference script selected. Delay set to zero. The max delay is 100 seconds in that section. So I am trying to have the phantom to respawn every 5 mins. It can't get it to work. here is what I set up in the node graph: 1. On game start 2. wait for 10 seconds ( for testing only ) 3. Trigger IA Spawner 4: Phantom is my Object Spawner. connected to AI Trigger spawner node ) ( yes I have a script brain next to Phantom in map ) Still can't get the AI Phantom to spawn at all. Can you help? Thanks :(

I followed step by step and I keep getting “failed to build” on the global log. I have no idea what I have done wrong, or how to fix it.

How are you getting a number back that isn't 0 from the pallet? All non-destructible items return 0 damage from the On Object Damaged event. Did you weld the pallet to the target dummy?

A good tutorial, but this begs a question if it takes 40 something minutes to instruct a simply door script why not make it simple? asking for the average halo user...

42:04 Yes that works, but, if 2 people press both buttons at the same time, it will cause the door to move double. Your boolean only stops the spamming of 1 button, but not both

Im trying to recreate the H3 shotgun and Im using the bulldog as the base but I want to scale its damage to be in line with H3s damage output but Im having trouble specifically making it for the bulldog and nothing else. This tutorial got me closer but it apllys the damage to all weapons and not just the bulldog. Help is much appreciated! edit: Still trying to get the traits right but its not working.

I just need my ai to spawn on top of my floor, my platform is fixed and so is my spawner, but they still spawn under my floor and onto the map beneath. Edit: generate nav mesh

If you wanted to have the button open 3 doors at the same time, would you add two additional "Translate Object to Point" nodes in the script and connect them together? or is there a better way?

Pengi, I hope you will return soon with more wisdom and help all us new Forgers to learn scripting. You make the difficult stuff seem achievable and I wish you the best. You clearly put a lot of work into your videos

This makes a lot of sense, I was wondering however if you have any advice on big maps. I have a massive map that I built before I knew about nav meshes and feel like I wasted so much time due to the dedicated server crashing everytime I try to build it. And that is with me using nave cutters to limit it to very specific locations.

Pengi will you please come back and do some more forge stuff. Its great the way you go into detail. I feel like the door was the foundation but the tutorial taught so much much more. Allot of videos it feels like I am just copying and not learning. In this video I learnt so much about the node graph 😁

Mine just fails to build. This is 10,000 times more complicated than it needs to be. You need thirty collage degrees and ten tons of spaghetti just for infinite ammo and it just won't work. Whoever created this terrible system, we can never be friends.
