Love watching you bringing this little beauty back to life. As a Mitsubishi follower and collector this little Galant started my love affair of Mitsubishi products. I drove one of these a few times when a friend owned one before I got my full license in 1977. His was a new yellow colour which really stood out. By 1978 his Galant had cover 290,000km. By 1980 it had done 400,000km. Love the yellow and would love to see another one in yellow again. Great video again. Thank you.

WOW. Thanks Stephan. Super kind words. Thank you.
Yeah yellow 70's cars are amazing. I love the colours that pop and show off the lines and styling.
I am not sure of what the colour of this one will be. A lot of discussions and thoughts. Time will tell but a decision needs to be made soon!
Thanks again. Your support is awesome and motivating.

      Thanks Andy!!
You are so right - soon as I laid on the primer I stood back to admire the beauty of the lines. A classic for sure. Thanks for the kind words as always. Take care.

Another great episode Daz. You touched on something that I should have as well, a backup tool cause they always fail when you need them most. I'm with you on the electric tools over air. I don't know whether it's the consistent torque delivery or just that I hate the sound of compressors pressurising. Nice job on the etch too, it's amazing how that first prime shows up the lines of the car especially when wet. I'm a big fan of epotech but I don't have the safety equipment and filtered environment for spraying that carcinogenic stuff. It does self level nicely though when it's sprayed on. That brown stuff really did look like rust on camera but it could have also been a contaminant reaction. It seemed to come off pretty easy with the DA.

Thanks David. Really kind words and I appreciate it. Definitely provides motivation and that is always a good thing....so thanks!!
Yeah, although they were the norm many years ago, air tools are the pits...for the reasons you've mentioned. I only use air to inflate tyres and spray paint. Everything else now is either corded or battery power. That damn DA ruined my progress but I had been wailing on the poor thing for many years so I am not at upset with the quality. As proof, I just bought too more of the exact same DA. HAHA
Thanks for watching and the support. I greatly appreciate it.

      Thanks Karen!
Yeah, I am also dying to see the the final colour. Your rally art inspired scheme sounds awesome. I was being serious in the video when I said the colour was still up in the air. It keeps changing. Choosing a colour is a really hard thing to do. Final decision will need to be made at some point soon though....it is getting closer!
Thanks heaps for always watching and commenting. I appreciate the support!

Avid new channel Fan, what you work on all the time is far more interesting than those wankers with Lambo’s/ Ferarri’s etc.

So glad to have you onboard!
Each to their own I guess. Lambo's and Ferraris are probably pretty interesting for some but for me it is the cars that I grew up with that have the most appeal and bringing them back to life is very satisfying. I hope you stick around. Thanks for the support! :)
