COPO vs Cybertruck, we are at Rockingham Dragway. Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend! #cybertruck #copocamaro #camaro #innovationperformancetechnologies #lapsofhonor
From the boss, "Ok, I was the driver and I normally just do not bother with all these nonces but here we go. First, this was done to make a ‘point’. I gave the Cybertruck the light on purpose which is obvious as my normal reaction times in this car is less than .04. Then at the 60-foot marker, I blew by him. I met my objective and coasted the rest of the way, smart thing to do in a $130,000.00 COPO, would you not agree? This car is set up for my 14-year-old son. That is right my ’14 YEAR OLD SON’. Any questions about run times please feel free to show us as we can sure use all the help we can get. We are at every Test and Tune at our home track in Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham NC. Please bring your KIA, Real Street Car, etc and I'll let my 14-year-old run you. I personally will put $1000.00 on your hood if you can beat him in your street car. Make that $5000.00 if you can beat me. With a true appreciation and respect for Elon Musk the exaggerated claims of performance and ballistic capabilities, I find fun but very concerning. Electric motored vehicles can produce extremely efficient performance. The problem is battery power consumption and heat. That is right, heat. Lots of heat! Thus, simply put these high outputs of power are limited physically in a mountain of ways. The combustion engine has had 100 years of advancement and realistically for now still the go-to solution. Just look at the failing EV sales currently and it is obvious the consumer needs for flexibility of use and availability of fuel the combustion ends. For now, anyway. Next is the real armor capabilities of these vehicles and the risk of over-assumed confidence. Racing is my hobby however ballistics is my career. So, I shall cut to the chase here and state that the new amazing Cybertruck IS NOT AN ARMORED VEHICLE!! Certain unverified claims are being made regarding performance and armor capabilities that are going to get the people killed. Threat levels in armored vehicles drives design. Not going to get into the details here but the new Cybertruck owner who thinks they, are most importantly their family, is safe driving around in cartel-controlled Juarez Mexico is putting their life in grave danger. Watching an EV race is like watching Fourth of July fireworks that do not bang. Pretty light but not very exciting."
How does your 14 year old son run faster than 7.90 in the 1/8? I'm legitimately curious as my son will start jr street next year and your 11.30 "coasting the rest of the way" is more like low 7's to the 1/8. No disrespect, I just want to know if there is a higher level that he is racing.
I saw my first Cybertruck the other day and the body was so wavy I could see my reflection 10 times from one side! I’ve seen Tonka trucks with straighter body panels! Maybe they’re trying to make it look like a crushed soda can!
I grew up with muscle cars, I’m almost 60 so when I was young you could still find them for a reasonable price. I had Camaros, Barracudas, Chevelles, stuff with the 440 six packs in them. I just got the Model Y and it’s faster than any of them, by a lot. Maybe it isn’t as cool, but it’s a hell of a lot more fun to drive every day. I was never rich enough to have a stable of muscle cars, so it was a lot of horse trading one for another and I had to use them as my daily drivers. Even back in the day it was painful to fill them up every few days. And they were not even close to reliable, you constantly had to tinker with them. I appreciate the skill and dedication it takes to build a dragster or restore a classic car, but if you’re just buying something off a new car lot, it’s really just a fashion choice isn’t it?
The most intelligent and intimidating argument, does it hurt to accept the loss of their cars or do they only say things like that so as not to accept it by throwing out useless arguments?
The COPO is capable of nine second run easily and he never rev it anywhere near the potential of that race car. This is factory built race car and it has no Vin number or tag,so it can't be made street legal. This was a waste of time watching this bullshit! Have a nice day.

All good points.
That COPO wasn’t even trying.
Don't those copos run like 8s or 9s like the cobra jet
@@octane2099 yup
Yea that was a warmup pass.
Wow, I totally agree🤣👍🏽
Watching electric vehicles race is about as exciting as watching flies f#*k
It’s less exciting. I actually spent more time watching two ladybugs 🐞🐞 that I caught in the act. The male ladybug humped faster than a jackrabbit. 😂
is that a pronhub category?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Hyperbole77 if you know stand up comedy, you wouldn't have to ask.
The cyber truck looks like a 6 year old drew the design for the body.
And you are right on the kid was 5 😂
And he was sitting in an Ikea parking lot
Camaro vs cardboard box
HVAC sheet metal
@@Cool07R6SRider lol
Refrigerator with wheels.
Yeah that copo was just getting it’s juices flowing definitely didn’t try at all
Copo should have had a cyber truck on a trailer behind it 😂
Copo walked it and was barely above idle haha.
Copo dragging with the emergency brake engaged 😂
That is one ugly truck !

12 seconds ain’t bad at all
Camaro was like half throttle lmao

All E vehicles are 💩 💩 💩
The COPO looked like it was just breaking in its engine.
It looks stupid, but 12 seconds is impressive
Correct, the COPO can go much faster when it's needed. But that's the best time I've seen for a Cybertruck not towing anything.
12.20 for that ugly truck is not bad but damn is that truck ugly. Electric cars will never have the same feel as a banging the gears on a roaring v8.
Just Stop F your Electric Car
Plug It up hot ❤On Fast Charge ? it go Boom ?
Electric = Boring. 🥱
No matter how fast it is.👎🏼
This wasn’t a race it was was a drive down the track smh 🤦♂️
Cyber trucks are slow
Cybertruck slow, cyberbeast is fast.
@@maximorales2238 nah it's slow and garbage too.
@@user-ic9lm5si2n 3t vs 1.5t? Lógic. Mcmurtry kills COPO
And gay.
The most intelligent and intimidating argument, does it hurt to accept the loss of their cars or do they only say things like that so as not to accept it by throwing out useless arguments?
Slow as hell!!! The performance is not there for the cyber truck
Cyberbeast 11.2s slow?
Absolutely!!! Shelby truck would smoke that time! COPO wasn’t even racing he was just going for groceries!!
I've seen a lighting run 9.90. Really pushing it tho.
In what world does a coop run in the 11s?😂😂😂
If that Copo actually went Hard it would have run a high8 to a low9😐
Tesla @ a 24Hr race….hmmm
The race would be over by the time the truck is done with its firstpit😂
Custom paint or Wrap on Cyber Trucks changes the whole look.
Cybertruck start of race 🔋
Cybertruck end of race 🪫
Why’d the copo pull the plug wires off one side?
And again ! What the point ??
COPO, scenic Sunday cruse.
The Camaro wasn’t even half throttle
No car with a chute is running 11s. They wernt even trying.
Of course the Camaro Wayne's take that you Greenies😂
Nice to see a ev get smoked by a good Ole gas powered beast 😅
I Love My Tesla
Those crybertrucks are about useless in every way😂😂😂😂
Only at The Rock
Tesla was rusted after the race.
That Cybertruck is one ugly POS. I'd be embarrassed to be seen in it.
Gay…. At least race truck vs truck….
That is a ugly truck but like it or not the speed will definitely be 🔌 in the future.
I wouldn’t have a stupid looking piece of crap like a cyber clunk. It’s not a truck.
