What a brilliant approach those guys have. Standing in the middle ground for the good of the society... that's how it should always work. Fantastic. Cheers.
As a local to the area who has been known to ride 'enthusiastically' now and then I have to say the general impression of those guys is exactly how I've always perceived them. I've done the 'Bikesafe' course a couple of times and really enjoyed the experience,I can only assume the negative comments are coming from the weekend wannabees that flood the area in the summer getting their ambitions and capabilities confused as they cause accidents by thinking they're on a hot lap of the Island. After a weekend of accidents ( often involving visitors) there is sometimes a push back probably due to pressure from the locals, the anti bike attitude generally seems to have gone when Brunstrom retired years ago. Don't take the p*ss with your riding and I've found live and let live works well, and yes,I do run race cans but otherwise my bikes conform regarding plate size etc. I've had some very spirited rides in company with marked Police bikes when it's been safe to do so,they are enthusiast's as well and don't seem to mind giving impromtu riding lessons sometimes. Nice series Andy, look forward to the next one.

A really interesting insight into the working of the Police. If you ride up to the Ponderosa many people pass but never stop at the amazing pontcysyllte aqueduct. Built around 1800 by Thomas Telford and still in use today by canal traffic. Carol and I took our 360 camera over it earlier this year on our channel, amazing experience. Thanks for the vid, cheers and take care.

Another great episode Andy. As a local to this area I'm pleased to see NW Police getting involved and helping to get a positive message out to bikers. Another good vlog Andy and hopefully rebuilding bridges between bikers and the traffic police in Wales. Many still remember the antics of Brunstrom and the Mad Mullah of the Traffic Taleban nickname which no doubt boosted his massive ego. Great to see the North Wales roads being policed with common sense and education as opposed to Brunstroms iron rod approach. Personally, have never had a problem with traffic police. One had a complete sense of humour bypass many years ago when a mate of mine changed lanes on the M62 without looking but who knows what the cop had spent the previous few hours dealing with. Can feel a Snowdonia road trip coming on.
Interesting vid. Difficult subject for the police wrt noise of cans; my standard Tuono sounds louder than some bikes with an aftermarket slip on, but that’s how I bought it and what it ships with. So there’s not much they could do. That said, I always roll off in villages and early mornings, pull the clutch in past dog walkers and so on.

Stayed in Rhayader, next to the spectacular Elan Valley reservoirs. Wales has some great roads, planning to return. An enjoyable watch, thanks.
Very professional riders and officers. Talk to someone who does it for a living if you want a true expert. I followed a motorcycle officer in a funeral train to the cemetery in Arlington Texas a few years ago. He was retired, but the command he had of both his machine and all the surrounding traffic was an impressive sight to see.

Really enjoying this series. Great roads to ride and fantastic scenery. On a nice sunny day, especially weekends and bank holidays, the Ponderosa gets very busy with bikers. Ride safe.
Enjoyed this film greatly. I'm very lucky to live in Shropshire, not far away. I moved up from London nearly 20 years ago and absolutely love the scenery in North Wales, awesome riding. The Ponderosa has been the meeting point for many a trip.
Andy, this is a great series. I am really enjoying it. I think it is terrific that you were able to spend a day or two with Welsh MC Cops.and get to know them. My sense is that UK cops are more open and down to earth than Canadian or US police…my impressions anyway!
Nice of the North Wales police to block the electric vehicle charging points when you stopped at Rhug Estates! ;-) Recognised many of the roads, thanks for the video - looking forward to part 3.
Enjoying the series genuine guys. Exhaust noise (db) are measured at mot her in Spain, you bike specifications have the figure on so thay check your bike about 1m back and out to the side from the exhaust at 3000rpm . So it has to be the same at every 2 years at your mot. I dont know what you do if you have to fit aftermarket and they are louder either than ram the baffles with packing.

@@TheMissendenFlyer I got to know a police rider at High Beach Epping years ago (when I still lived in London ) and he explained a few helpful hints , I like to think they have helped me a lot over the years.
Horseshoe Falls? Thats in Canada Proper? For me it looks like most of the roads are very narrow. My time in Scotland in the 1970’s indicated most roads are painted on the Hills but only one lane wide, so the speeds were very low in general. I am sure they are much improved now. The police officer was awesome. Great communication about the job and public interaction. Nice stop overs. great officer discussions about lane positioning. Definitely experienced riders sharing good info. Love the video and thanks.

You should check out the Klim airbag vest no Tether Andy and wear under all your jackets. Powered by in&motion that RST use now and also MotoGP riders. Highly recommend and you don’t notice your wearing underneath. Full protection to collar bone, neck areas too
I should be getting another airbag vest soon that is tether-less - will be interesting to see how that compares with the Helite (which is a great bit of kit by the way).....

They are....providing you obey the law! (which seems fair enough to me).....
@@TheMissendenFlyer Totally agree. They are only doing their job. 👍
Thanks Andy, a very enjoyable trip and no chance of being pulled over lol. :>)
I have to say, owain's roadcraft was brilliant.
Agreed!
As others have said, this is an excellent diversion from the "normal stuff" really interesting! Can't wait for the final episode...and also to see what you come up with next.
Why Wales why not where he lives ???????????
@@allanhughes7859 Don't understand the question but...why not Wales?
@@stevenhill6214 more important why Wales whats not to understand if I lived in birmingham i would approach the police there why come to wales ???
@@allanhughes7859 As far as i understand it, TMF was invited by the Welsh police. I take it you are Welsh?
@@stevenhill6214 Well if he was fair enough yes i am welsh
Really enjoying this series. Great roads to ride and fantastic scenery. On a nice sunny day, especially weekends and bank holidays, the Ponderosa gets very busy with bikers. Ride safe.
Yes I bet - cheers Philip!
Grew up in this area ....thanks for the memories
Glad you enjoyed it Liam
My question would be, can I get in trouble for saying “Nationals” and then riding in a slightly more vigorous fashion? Asking for a friend 😂😂
Dont ride in Wales if ya want to keep your licence they are just out to get ya thats a fact or make money I am not sure which ???????
If the pigs in Wales stop you get your phone out they a bunch of intimidating cunts
Enjoyed this film greatly. I'm very lucky to live in Shropshire, not far away. I moved up from London nearly 20 years ago and absolutely love the scenery in North Wales, awesome riding. The Ponderosa has been the meeting point for many a trip.
how many tickets have you got if none well done you are the lucky one !!!!!!!!!
@@allanhughes7859 so far so good!
nice work Andy...... great vid and congrats to the boys in blue..... seeing humans for a change!!
Andy, this is a great series. I am really enjoying it. I think it is terrific that you were able to spend a day or two with Welsh MC Cops.and get to know them. My sense is that UK cops are more open and down to earth than Canadian or US police…my impressions anyway!
Glad you enjoyed it James! Next one on Thursday....
Nice of the North Wales police to block the electric vehicle charging points when you stopped at Rhug Estates! ;-) Recognised many of the roads, thanks for the video - looking forward to part 3.
I'm sure we would have moved if an electric vehicle turned up to use them....
Thanks for the Clean Andy, that works.
No problem 👍
Thumps up 4 you guys. That was fun 😁
It just keeps getting better!!! Glad to see that Carole is still on the training trail - you know it makes sense!!
Position 1,2,3 they teach you when you do your advanced motorcycle test. Great video.
Glad you liked it!
Very enjoyable video. Thanks TMF 👍🏻👍🏻
My pleasure!
Very very good, lots of good tips, nice guys
Thanks for watching
Hi Alan and Radio North Wales!
Nice to see the A5 spent a lot time on it travelling to the boat at Holyhead 👍🏍🌋🌲
Scenery looks amazing, must get to Wales at some point
Yes you must!
Another great vid Andy looking forward to the next, I like how you put the question of exhaust noise after seeing the Harley 😉
Glad you spotted that!
What a cliffhanger! Well done sir.
Thanks!
Stopped off at my work place Rhug. It's a hell of a commute down the A5 between Betws and Rhug.
Do you do it on the bike Chris?
@@iainstewart1715 I have been for the last few weeks mate. Makes for a lovely start and end to the day. Although the people I hold up on the Betws to Padog bends stretch might have a different opinion. 😂😂😂
Nice one!
Nooooo, another cliffhanger lol, very good, can’t wait for the next episode 👏👏
Stay tuned Graham - coming on Thursday!
Excellent, made for great viewing 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
great Video Andy, a nice bunch of guys
Glad you enjoyed it David - thanks for watching...
You left us on a cliffhanger! Great vid.
More to come! - Next video on Thursday....
Again , very interesting Mr Flyer .
Glad you enjoyed it
@@TheMissendenFlyer I got to know a police rider at High Beach Epping years ago (when I still lived in London ) and he explained a few helpful hints , I like to think they have helped me a lot over the years.
Enjoyed that - very balanced, thanks for the vid
My pleasure!
Great video...as usual Andy. love from Norway
Thank you Hans
Horseshoe Falls? Thats in Canada Proper? For me it looks like most of the roads are very narrow. My time in Scotland in the 1970’s indicated most roads are painted on the Hills but only one lane wide, so the speeds were very low in general. I am sure they are much improved now.
The police officer was awesome. Great communication about the job and public interaction. Nice stop overs.
great officer discussions about lane positioning. Definitely experienced riders sharing good info. Love the video and thanks.
Your video have given me great memories of the area that I known very well. I was born and grew up in Wrexham and know many of the areas you rode around. Thanks for the memories. 😊
Bye Stuart 🙂
My pleasure Stuart - where are you based now?
@@TheMissendenFlyer Hi
I now live in Wiltshire in a small but beautiful town called Bradford on Avon. Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos.
Bye Stuart 🙂
Fantastic still shot 5:20 of the plod at the Horseshoe Pass!
Glad you like it!
Wales is a beautiful place to ride rain or shine, I must go there one day.
You definately should John!
Great couple of vids, fancy leaving us with a bit of a cliffhanger 😆😆
Interesting to see the person behind the flashing blue light :-). This sequence of videos was a great idea.
A great bunch of cops there.Totally fair in there attitude.A noticeable difference with our SA cops is that our cops are properly armed. Cheers.
Despite some of the comments in these last two videos I really think the UK police are some of the best in the world....
@@TheMissendenFlyer Let some of these negative people come and deal with our SA cops then they will see how life can throw you a curve ball.
Pondorosa looked quiet must have known the rozzers were visiting.
Really good series looking forward to the next instalment
Glad you enjoyed it - coming on Thursday!
Outstanding - really interesting to see 'inside' the policing bubble from afar. And having them rate breakfast... that was excellent. LOL.
Many thanks Scott!
It is very nice but hard to wash if you sweat in it.
Great informative series. Can’t wait for episode 3. Nice variety on your channel sir. How about some more flying?
Yes I'm sure there will be more in due course - tend to take a bit of filming and they never get many views so I need time on my hands for those as an "extra"....
Interesting video TMF, well done.
Thank you Paul
Just when I suggest your channeling your Alan Partridge you start this with “AHA!”
Nothing wrong with a bit of Partridge....
