Can’t wait for it. In 2001 I was immediately in love with the first iteration of Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo GameCube. It was pure eyecandy and it still holds up today. LM3 on the Switch is also eyecandy. It’s unbelievable what the Nintendo Switch is capable of in terms of graphics. The new gameplay in this game seems fine to me.
I've been theorizing the layout of the Last Resort. This is what I have, according to what seems to be the structure: B2 - ? B1 - Parking (that's where the garage is) Lobby - Shopping (Mall area similar to gift shops you find in hotel lobbies) 2? - Water (one floor, seems to be an early one, has teardrop shaped gems & their shape matches each floor) 3? - Music (one floor has a concert hall-like entrance & also seems to occur early) Mezzanine? - Food (Mezzanines are near the lobby & we know it's one of the first 5 bcuz of the artwork) 5 - Regular Hotel (It's where they were staying so it must be a normal floor) 6 - Castle MacFright 7 - Garden Suites 8 - Paranormal Productions 9 - ? 10? - Tomb Suites (higher than 8 but lower than 12, so maybe here) 11 - ? 12 - Space? (This floor has the gray dome structure shaped like a UFO) 13? - Spectral Catch (Fan theory that it's this floor) 14 - Dance Hall 15 - Casino? (As the penultimate floor this must have the owner & she's dressed for the part) Penthouse - Rooftop battle with King Boo
I know they wanna make sequels but when the plot is THIS specific it’s hard to believe it happening 3 times... Like Bowser kidnaps Peach a million times, that’s fine. But Luigi being the only one who can save people from a haunted mansion using the Poltergust? That can only happen so many times before you’re like wtf..?
Gooigi will likely be among my favorite things in LM3. I also see a potential strategy with him in the ScareScraper: Let Gooigi handle the ghosts instead of Luigi, especially if Luigi's health is low. Even if that's not the case, it still seems helpful to use Gooigi often, if only because he regenerates health as long as he stays alive. He can take the hits for Luigi, that's what I mean.
I'm excited for this game and will buy it with the switch- but I'm still working on Dark Moon on the 3DS. I am still in the mansion :( I'm hoping to finish it by the end of the month :D except I'm awful at gaming (T.T). lol
Mario doesn't hog the limelight from Luigi /per se/. At least not actively. Mario himself is actually one of the very few people who respects Luigi. It's just that everyone else pays more attention to Mario and forgets about Luigi. In other words, Mario doesn't hog the spotlight so much as the spotlight itself refuses to be shared.

Looks great. Just hope the save system is more forgiving than dark moon. That ruined it for me in what was otherwise a good game. Fingers crossed. I know some hardcore like it that way but most don't want to complete whole levels again should they die against a boss.
Oh my goodness... A game for Switch I can buy! I got BotW and Odyssey when I got Switch and Ive been waiting for something new to come out. This and Metroid 4 for sure. Thats not really many quality games but at least they are amazing games you cant get on other platforms so it kinda-ish makes Switch worth it.
Tomi Valkonen if you like rpg style games I really recommend astral chain. The fighting is actually really good and strategic. Plus it runs really good!

I wish I have a switch but I just got a 3ds so I’ll play that version I’m probably gonna be odd or annoying but I feel that the older versions atmospheres are scarier due to it being darker and just the graphics over all. I’m really jumpy so I don’t mind that change I’m a little chicken. But I think it takes away from the scary atmosphere. The images are clearer and not as foggy and dusty so it sort of takes that apmosphere . But I still like it. I’ve never played it though so I’m not sure. Since it’s Halloween I’ve been getting reviews in my recommended and that’s my overall opinion. I can imagine the old versions scaring younger players so I understand and support that change because everyone deserves to play a game!!! 😊

Damian Lopez I believe the combat is going to be quite easy but the real focus is on the puzzles which are apparently not very hard but will still make you think a little bit. But I believe that the main pull of the game is how much charm it offers. But this is only information that I have gathered from gameplay and I could be totally wrong.

They confirmed you're free to explore each floor how you like & go back to previous ones you've unlocked. There will be puzzles between floors 4:11 That's good to know. I was worried about having enough content. It seems it's 18 floors: 2 basements, 15 regular ones & a penthouse. Hopefully there's enough action in each one

I don't know if you already bought the game but I'm sure they'll have physical copies for it. It might be better to buy a physical copy if you're low on space for digital games
GameStop sells micro SD XC cards with 128gb for 25$. If you're wanting more storage for your switch lite I would go for the 128gig it saves you alot of storage and you can download more games if you're more of a digital game download type of guy like me. I prefer digital over physical copy.
It's disgusting. The menu options are garbage. Going to Gad's pop-up lab vertical scroll is cringey. The ability to control Luigi and duel a foe is impossible. The game is built for you to win. The only difficulty is to get the controls to cooperate. You can't maneuver Luigi simply and intuitively like Link or whatever it is you play. I legit hate this game and until an update is released or however that works, I'm going to continue to squawk.
One more week to go . . . . . I can't stand it! Unfortunately, I think my traditional yearly viewings of "Garfield's Halloween" and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will be kaput this year.

Also I guess Botw, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, Astral chain, Bayonetta (they have publishing rights over it) are too kiddy. They’ve always focused on family friendly stuff. Most mature fans of Nintendo don’t shy away from playing something that isn’t “dark” and “mature” enough. Also I guess Botw, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, Astral chain, Bayonetta (they have publishing rights over it) are too kiddy. They’ve always focused on family friendly stuff. You got to have you childhoods, let the new kids get theirs. Don’t worry Nintendo isn’t forgetting the “mature hardcore” gamers. They appeal to everyone as always. They always have and always will.
I would argue that the atmosphere seems considerably closer to the original than the second.
