Aside from the little jingle in certain rooms, a great way to tell if there are remaining ghosts or monsters in a room is to press down on the D-pad. This will make Luigi call for Mario, which has three variations. One is normal and calm, when the room is fully clear and Luigi is neutrally expressive. The second is pretty much the default, when you first enter a room or re-enter one that has a Boo or gem ghost. This one is nervous, but not terrified. The final one is only when a Boo, boss ghost or horde battle is going, and it’s essentially a higher-pitched 2nd version.

Gadd's Research journal, the poltergust G-00 has a device built in to transfer the user's consciousness into Gooigi at will, when using him; which causes the user's body to enter a sleeplike state in the meantime. This was added because Gooigi's unpredictable nature made it hard to make his movements precise and tactical, when he acted independently.

Okay, so for the thing at 5:18 Luigi and Gooigi share the same consciousness with each other. So when Luigi is being controlled, Gooigi will fall asleep because he isn't the one conscious and vise versa for when Gooigi is conscious. Also, the reason why Luigi (or Gooigi) gives the thumbs up and acknowledges the other's achievement is because although they have to share a conscience and only one can be awake, the one that is asleep can also (how do I make this easier into words?) See what the other is seeing? Like, how if you look into a camera and you can see of it? It's like that so that's why the character acknowledges the others accomplishments without being conscious to see it. (Hope that helps :) )
One detail people definately missed. If you return to the music hall boss room on most occasions you may see a Hammer Dancing on stage which is a variant of the hammer not seen at any other point in the game, and has a different way of attack, plus his expressions are very silly. If you never went back to get the gems or you grabbed them on your first go you probably never went back to see this glorious dancing hammer. (as a side note, the 3 short boss floors with toad in them all have enemy gauntlets to battle in the arena so for anyone wanting a slightly challenging ghost battle should check them out. The spectral catch is the hardest)

This is so awesome just to tell you when you get to the 12th floor activate something new brand new for the vacuum go back to the stage on the 4th floor something awesome will happen for a cool Easter egg. The reason why I say that it's an awesome achievement is so fun to see what happens.
You missed that the car egad drives is a reference to luigis mansion 2, where you actually find the poltergust 5000 inside that same car, plus if you listen to that spider theme you didnt hear before well it's actually from a cutscene in luigis mansion 2 after the spider queen boss fight, where a bunch of spiders follow their unpossesed mother back home... making luigi scared. ..infact in the movie production studios, theres a set taken place with a giant spider. But if you listen to the music and sound effects, they are all taken from the first boss fight in luigis mansion 2, you even have to burn the study webs down like in that boss fight to beat it. Oh and theres even more references and details, when you use the depad you can call for mario in 4 different tones. But gooigi does a mario call too! Also if you got to the ship area before bringing toad back, interact with the cannon that toad's painting was on, well you must see the rest for yourself.

Are you familiar with Jackcepticeye because I've been watching him play this game and he's almost done so I know a few things that you just don't know yet I won't spoil it but let's just say the game is very lengthy because of how big the hotel is
This is so awesome just to tell you when you get to the 12th floor activate something new brand new for the vacuum go back to the stage on the 4th floor something awesome will happen for a cool Easter egg. The reason why I say that it's an awesome achievement is so fun to see what happens.
You missed that the car egad drives is a reference to luigis mansion 2, where you actually find the poltergust 5000 inside that same car, plus if you listen to that spider theme you didnt hear before well it's actually from a cutscene in luigis mansion 2 after the spider queen boss fight, where a bunch of spiders follow their unpossesed mother back home... making luigi scared. ..infact in the movie production studios, theres a set taken place with a giant spider. But if you listen to the music and sound effects, they are all taken from the first boss fight in luigis mansion 2, you even have to burn the study webs down like in that boss fight to beat it.
Oh and theres even more references and details, when you use the depad you can call for mario in 4 different tones. But gooigi does a mario call too! Also if you got to the ship area before bringing toad back, interact with the cannon that toad's painting was on, well you must see the rest for yourself.

Is it just me or does the music for the hotel mall kinda have an 80’s cop show feel to it? Suppose it fits with the boss ghost being a security guard who acts like he’s in an action movie.

I predicted that the bottles will play the Luigis Mansion song starting with the note C before listening to it by reading the notes on the staff. It turned out that the pitches from the bottles matched exactly with the written notes.

If you flash polturpup with the stun light and immediately vacuum as if you would capture him, he will make the same noise that he made in dark moon when you were trying to capture him.
I have a theory about Gooigi. When you switch to him, Luigi's brain goes over to Gooigi. That's the reason Luigi slumps over when Gooigi is activated.

Regarding to your comment that this would be the first car we see E-Gadd would be driving around, is not quite right actually! In luigi's mansion 2 the gloomy manor was E-Gadd's home back then. In his car, in the garade in the first mission its also when you find his poltergust for that game
